I've come to Hallmark for lots of things over the past couple of years, and I've always appreciated how nice, professional, and non-pushy the people who work here are. They know their stuff, and they'll give you honest advice. My husband's car, which has a turbo engine, can't be serviced here for most things, but Hallmark definitely does the trick for my car needs. I wish they'd post the wi-fi password somewhere in the waiting area! I've tried to make an appointment on their website but then had to call to check in to confirm the time and date. I suggest just calling in the first place to get the time slot you want. read more

I can not say enough about these guy's. Hallmark Tire is the absolute best around. I have had my corvette in there for work a couple week's ago and they did an amazing job. I Called last week as my son had an issue with his Jeep. We had it towed there and they did amazing work on that also. It was a big job as they had to replace the whole front end and steering rack. They made the time for the repairs as they were time consuming. I hear some people say that the prices are sometimes higher than other shops. I will tell you that you get what you pay for and I will pay higher prices to have my vehicles repaired properly and with the professionalism that they offer. As a female, it's hard to find an auto repair shop where you don't feel like you're getting ripped off. It's all too common to feel like you're being taken advantage of. I never feel like that here. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable and if they find anything while doing routine work, they will call and tell you the issue beforehand. I've been going to Hallmark for all my repairs since I bought my first car, and whenever someone is looking for a great shop, I always recommend them. They are friendly and fast. When I drop my car off for repairs, I usually leave it the night before. They have a great system for dropping your car off. I always get a call early the next morning from Ted, or whomever is working on my car, letting me know what needs to be done and asking my permission before they go ahead and fix it. I really appreciate this! They explain everything too. I never feel stupid or confused and I am kept in the loop about what's going on with my car. Are they more expensive than other shops? It depends. I needed exhaust repairs and they quoted a pretty daunting number. I went to an exhaust shop and had the work done for a lot cheaper. But, that being said, it's understandable that the work would be cheaper at a specialized shop. Here they do everything. And it's always nice to have a place that knows your car and they history. I trust Hallmark and I know my car is always in good hands....even if I did buy a lemon. read more

This is my second visit to Hallmark Tire. I stopped in for an estimate for 4 new tires for my Subaru Crosstrek. I put a ton of miles on my car annually and I need the peace of mind that safe, new tires provide. Not only did they quote me lower than I paid 2 years (and 50,000 miles) earlier from the dealership, but they gave me an appointment as soon as I needed. I explained that I had multiple appointments that day and they reassured me that I would be out in time to get to them. They were true to their word and got me out in plenty of time. However, on my way home a light popped up on my dash. I immediately called them to let them know and they asked me to come back so they could rectify the issue. Needless to say, I was bummed but had to get it right. For my trouble, they offered me a free oil change coupon! My thought was, are you sure? My car takes synthetic oil-pretty expensive. Big win for me! So today, I capitalized on my free oil change! They are all such nice people-even the mechanic that did the work spoke to me about how great Subaru's are. Very knowledgeable group. They are definitely a hidden gem. I recommend them and would love to hear if you try them because of my review! read more

10 years ago my Dad sent me here with my 1990 Nissan Maxima, a twenty and a note that said what he wanted them to do. I was in and out in time to go to school that morning. Present day, I ran over a piece of funky metal in Manchester in my 2010 Honda Accord. I remembered how quick and easy it was back in the day so I sent my husband here to get my tire patched. They said due to the size and general funkiness of the metal it would be a tough patch...which made us nervous we'd end up needing a new tire. But they called him back a few hours later and said the patch had been successful, and we were only out $22. Big thanks to my husband for knowing how to change tires and Big thanks to Hallmark for hooking us up--who knew car drama could be taken care of in just one day? And for less than a trip to Panera? Our 11 year old Chevy Tahoe was recently repaired here. Very fair and honest appraisal of what needed to be fixed. Prices also very fair, considering the amount of work done over a couple days. My husband dealt directly with this business, however he said they were great. They also gave us 3-4 different options of what to repair and when (i.e. the AC system needs work, but they recommended waiting until we actually need it again, i.e. late spring). We will be returning in the spring to have additional repairs conducted, I will update the review again at that time. read more

Came here to get my emissions test, at my mom's recommendation. There are spots dedicated for people getting the emissions test done (close to the entrance). There also is a nice waiting room to wait while it's getting done. I had lunch with me, so I was able to eat my lunch while the test was getting done. There is a TV, so you can see your car in the shop at all times. Came on a Monday afternoon, in and out in 15 minutes. Very nice people and I'll return here for my next emissions test. read more

I've been here twice for my emissions test after having an awful experience at a place in Rocky Hill. I service my car at Imported Auto in town and they recommended Hallmark. So happy they did. The staff is extremely nice, respectful and helpful. The building is spotless and there's even a TV in the waiting area where you can view your car being tested. I was in/out so quickly. They even have designated parking spaces right in front for emissions. I won't think of going anywhere else. read more

Air conditioner not working. Hallmark filled with refrigerant, leak checked and out the door for $233.47. Two days later, AC did not work. Went back and was told a hose was leaking and needed replacement. Not sure why this wasn't identified the first time! After replacing the hose and filling again for $354.71 and sitting for the winter, not working again! I went back and asked what Hallmark could do for me. Apparently nothing. They say it could be something new so it's like I'm showing up for the first time. It would be $125.00 for a diagnostic charge but they would wave that if it was a leaking hose they replaced. Don't waste your time going here if you have AC problems. Go to someone knowledgeable! In my case, I don't believe in "third time is a charm" so I'm not taking any more chances. read more

Went to Hallmark on a referral and received a quote for two tires. Price was fair so I made an appointment for the next week. Showed up for the appointment, was told an error had been made, the tires quoted were incorrect and they didn't even stock them. Gave me a new quote, $100.00 more. Since I was there and had made arrangements for a ride I agreed. Was called 3 hours later to pick up my car only to find out the tires were put on the wrong end. I understand that misquotes can happen but everything went wrong that day. They should have called me prior to my appointment to go over the options. I do my research....checked out reviews for both Hallmark and the original tire that was quoted, both came back favorable. Unfortunately I left there feeling I had been scammed, a "bait & switch". Not only did they lose me as a future customer, they also lost my friends who made the referral. Very disappointed! read more
