They jumped between bays as different cars needed work, but everyone who worked on my car was friendly and efficient. The benefit of sitting in the car while they work is that they'll show you the new air filter as they're replacing it, and they bring you the oil dipstick when they've finished the oil change so you can personally verify the level. So, you have a little more insight into the whole process, if that interests you. At the end, they email your invoice with all the shop notes and a nice coupon for future services. Once again yesterday I went to get an oil change, tire rotation, and a replaced tire valve that was leaking. Instead of doing it all, Ainsworth was honest and told me there was no need for the tire rotation as my best tires are already in front. This is not the first time he explained why we don't need expensive work done. He always chooses to be honest instead. This type of service is hard to come by these days. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

A new auto shop found there were 12 trouble codes, all due to the failed work done at Monro. They cleared and fixed 11 of 12, with the last one needing to be done by the dealer. I didn't have my car for weeks due to all the remedial work needed. I spent the last TWO YEARS fighting with Monro's insurance to get reimbursed for the thousands of dollars I had to spend elsewhere for remedial repairs. Customer service has offered nothing to make things right for my inexcusable experience - they refuse to refund me for initial costs after a hellish and utterly unacceptable experience. Also, they have staff leaving good reviews on Google, don't be fooled!!! **** Been trying to get in touch with the district manager as they were apparently the person refusing a refund for initial services and they will not call me. My car started to break down on the highway and I was able to make it off the exit safely and ended up on some remote road stranded alone in Glastonbury, CT. I called AAA and a tow truck arrived within 30 minutes. I wasn't sure of the reason for the breakdown so the driver, Steven, jumped right in and did some troubleshooting. He quickly narrowed it down to a problem with the alternator. His repair shop was closed since it was the weekend. Steven kindly offered to tow my car to a different auto repair place locally or the 50 miles to my home in MA. Steven was very kind, patient, trustworthy, and level-headed. He is my superhero and I won't hesitate to call on this company again if I ever need help with automotive or towing needs.
