My credit score played a MAJOR role in my eligibility. Mr. Steven tried his best to assist me with becoming eligible for an apartment. He even offered to still setup an appointment to show me the rental. Now how many realtors will do that? Once I tell them my situation regardless of my income they'll usually stop responding. But not Mr. Stevens. However, things just didn't work out this time. I just want to let Mr. Steven know that I do appreciate you for trying to help me. Your customer service skills are impeccable. Reach out to him and see if he can help you with finding a beautiful place to call home.

Full experience here: I tried to view this apartment many times.  I submitted a request on Streeteasy and Zillow.  I called Jorge Miller who is listed as contact. It went to the voice for someone named Nicole.  I never received a call back.  Finally got a reply via Zillow from Nicole asking to fill out the same information I already filled out on Zillow.  I received a text from Jason saying there is an apartment available in an area I'm not interested in.  Each time I expressed that as long as the apartment looks OK I'm willing to put an application and deposit in today.  I let Jason know the area I was interesting in and he did not get back.  I tried calling and it went to voice mail.  Looking up One Premier Reality office number and couldn't leave a voice mail.   Also this negates the FARE act.  I'm not hiring a broker, but will have to go through One Premier Reality in order to gain access to their listing, thereby forcing me to hire a broker, when it says that the move in fees are first month, refundable 1 month security and $20 application fee.

He likes to show up to people's apartment unannounced come inside the apartment to check it out his maintenance workers are lazy never working. They're always chatting with each other. They are not part of the Better Business Bureau website so that goes to show you a lot.

I guess because by moving out the price of the apartments usually go up. They do not post the regulations that the Co-op residents are to follow and the NYC regulations on smoke is not posted as mandated by the law owners which comes with a fine by the city. They use every deflective practice from the start of a complaint and after simply do not respond. In my experience as an owner, they do not behave as if they work for the Co op Board and the Board behaves as if ARAS Properties was their boss.

The worst thing…read morehowever is that the agent/broker Sherri had us send out our portion of the signed contract and downpayment which in turn she had the sellers attorney hold for more than 8 business days. My agent and attorney made numerous attempts to get updates however no answer. All while she was negotiating with another buyer to sell the home while holding our downpayment for nearly 2 weeks. So after paying for a home inspection, having our money kept in their account she had her clients turn around and say they signed a contract today with another buyer. Sherri (sellers agent) could not answer any questions about the property nor did she show up for the home inspection. In the end she had her seller hold our money while negotiating with other people. HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE! We have ALL the electronic records to show we had our money withheld and then the agent turned around and was negotiating another deal at the same time! BUYERS BEWARE!

It's 2020: do not rent at 300 W 49th St. Elmsford Arms in Manhattan - the apartment I had there…read more(#200) was completely infested by mice and rats and Abro Management Company did little to nothing to address the problem for 9 months. This company is dishonest. When I was viewing the place, I asked about problems with rats and the building Super said "maybe once or twice in the last 30 years. We've rarely had rodent problems". What I learned after moving in is that there's a sign-up sheet at the front desk because the exterminator comes every 2 weeks on Wednesday. Isn't there a law against blatantly lying about something like that? Oh yeah, it could be considered fraud. I caught so many mice while living here I lost count. I attached a picture of a glue trap with 3 dead mice on it alone, as well as a living mouse caught near my stove. These are just a few of the examples. We live in a pandemic world - as a renter, you've got a chance to get a good deal on an apartment in the city. Please go anywhere but here - you don't want to deal with these rodents.

She is often not there, off on holiday, at dinner, or on vacation. I felt dismissed, not considered, and not relevant. She increased the price of my co-op without so much as a phone call. If I had not checked Zillow I would not have known. When I called her that day, she was out getting her hair blown out. After finally getting a buyer she neglected to follow up, because she was away on holiday, I lost the buyer. In the end Cheryl was the ONLY ONE who responded to my phone calls, returned calls, reassured me and offered me advice. CHERYL was a god-send. Lori NEVER sold my apartment, LORRAINE from Century 21 did. Go there. Lorraine hustled her butt off to sell my apartment. Thank you Lorraine!!! It killed me to pay Lori.
