Watched Hoppers with the nieces and nephews this past weekend. Ticket check at entry was quick, but unfortunately service at the concessions stand was slow... and we were just purchasing a bag of candy. They had decent offerings in terms of food and drinks, including pizza hut, churro bites, popcorn, nachos, milkshakes, beer, wine, and margaritas. Seats in the auditorium recline a bit, but the leg rests only lift slightly. There are also swivel trays at each seat. Sound and picture quality were great, though there are bars/wires in between each row that may interfere with viewing the bottom of the screen, for those who are shorter in height... I sat in the last row in the back, if that makes a difference. One inconvenience worth noting is that if you need to use the restroom during a film, you'll need to walk all the way to the lobby, and possibly around the concessions stand to the opposite side of the theater, depending on which side your auditorium is located. Men's restroom is on one side of the theater. Women's restroom is on the other side. The kiddos enjoyed playing the games in the small Starcade after the movie. Claw machines galore, as well as a few racing and shooting games. Payment was a bit complicated. You need to buy a player card from a machine outside the arcade, then swipe the card on another machine inside the arcade to exchange for tokens which were required for some of the games. All in all, this Cinemark theater was fine for our recent viewing of this cute animated flick. And the kids had a blast, so that's good enough for me. read more

For this theater to be in Vallejo, I enjoyed myself and the cleanliness of the theater ( I can't review the bathroom/ I try not to use public restrooms). The concession area can get a little complicated and chaotic, it needs more organization. read more

I had a lovely experience watching a movie at this theater last night. The seat was comfortable, but I think it could've reclined way more to the back instead of doing what seemed like just halfway reclining. I initially didn't like the tray attached to each seat, but the tray turned out to be very convenient, especially if you had snacks with you. We came here as part of a fairly large group to see the new Tron movie. I had never been to this theater before and was curious about how things would go. We have been to a number of different Century theaters, but have found that the name does not always equate to the same quality of experience. In other words, some Century theaters are better than others. This was one of the better ones. We got really good service in the snack area and everyone working in there was helpful and nobody was stingy. The theater was very clean in the movie area as well as the lobby and restrooms. Signage was good so it was easy to figure out where you were going and plenty of parking nearby. That made us enjoy the movie even more so. We had a very good experience at this theater and hope you do too. read more

Honestly? Never had any issues with Cinemark at Vallejo. Seats are awesome! Hard to go back to non-reclining seats after this experience. I've always experienced the staff to be accommodating and their snacks stay stacked. Never had any issues with my car or any other riff raff, even in the late hours. Not saying it doesn't happen - just saying, based on my experience, it has been positive so far and pray it'll always be (God willing). Just exercise wisdom wherever you are in Vallejo. It's easy to navigate and find the theater you're looking for. They have a lot of refreshments and also serve alcoholic beverages for the grown folks. We used the service to bring our food to us for extra fee. We specifically like this feature we don't have to wait in line. Seats are reserved and comfortable. read more

Staff are ALWAYS friendly and courteous, lobby and theaters are always super clean and I've never had any issues with the movies or sound quality. I've been here when it's empty and I've been here when it's super packed opening night for a popular film. I've been going to this theater for almost 10 years now, and it's to the surprise of no one, I'm sure, for me to say that it's my favorite theater in the Vacaville/Fairfield/Vallejo area. Their seats are always very clean and comfy (unlike Edward's in Fairfield, whose seats are nasty by comparison), and feature both recline and seat heat functions. Picture and sound have always been great here as well, even in Standard showings. Though the concessions line can get a little hectic when its busy, I've never had an issue of having to actually wait in line more than a few minutes. Staff have been trained to optimize the line flow pretty well. Additionally, this Century takes overall cleanliness seriously, too - never has there been an issue of messiness, neither in the auditoriums, nor the lobby, nor the bathroom. As long as these trends continue, Century Vallejo 14 will continue to see my business for years to come. read more

This is a pretty great movie theater. Check it out if you haven't been here since the renovation. They have the luxury recliners with heated seats and snack trays. They have kettle corn, popcorn, nachos, pizza, candy, slushees, soda, and alcoholic drinks. You even have the option of having your snacks delivered to your seat when you're buying tickets online. They also have a family restroom and a mini arcade. The theaters themselves have been pretty clean from my experience. The selection of movies is really good. Movies that officially release on Friday will probably have a couple Thursday showings here. They have some foreign language movies (Hindi, Tagalog.) They even have concert movies (example: Taylor Swift Eras tour or k-pop NCT). They also do the Studio Ghibli movies throughout the year. They participated in the Dan Da Dan world premiere. While they can't control their patrons they were very responsive the time we informed them someone inside was vaping. An employee came by very soon after to check it out and the problem was resolved. I'd choose this theater over the others in the area. read more

What can I say?!?! $6 doesn't buy you much but on Tuesdays you can watch new releases on the big screen, in your reserved seat, and reclining/heated chair. Snack bar line moved well and bathrooms were decent and stocked. For a fairly crowded summer night.... Good job! read more

I don't prefer to go to this theater because of the area it is in (I mean, it's Vallejo). But between Fairfield & Vallejo, I'd pick Century Vallejo simply because Vallejo has reclining seats & Fairfield doesn't. This theater's concession stand is very chaotic though. There's 2 sides. Sometimes only 1 side is open. No real line. You just enter & go grab what you want (popcorn, hot dog, ICEE, etc.). & the line is really just at the end to pay. read more

I go here quite often and I have never been disappointed since the renovation. Then again I usually go on weekdays. So it's not crowded at all. Sometimes I'm the only one in theater. Plus they still have the Tuesday special. Kettle corn is always available, and always have special popcorn buckets. Everything seems to be always stocked. Other local theaters are not as stocked and unkempt. The bathrooms seem clean and the chairs are for the most part comfortable and clean. Staff is ok. They're friendly and quiet, but not overly hospitable. But for the most part most things are self serve. Sound quality is ok...that's my only gripe. read more

Century Vallejo is located at the Gateway Plaza right across Costco and has been here for years. Purchasing a ticket is super easy, it can be either online or at the box office in person. I think it's easy purchasing online and choosing your seats. You can also pre order your food too to pick upon arrival. This can all be done in the app too. The workers are super friendly and it's fairly clean post pandemic since you don't see as many people going into the movies as much anymore. I inquired about birthday parties and they say you can rent out the room just as the room, not sure if they are capable of doing private showings. But they usually have all the moves out. Parking is really easy too since there's a parking lot. read more

You want to know why people aren't going to movie theaters anymore? We literally sat through about 30 minutes of commercials that went about 10 minutes past the stated movie start time. That is some bullshit. WHY wouldn't I just stay in the comfort of my home and stream without commercials? Also, the popcorn is a top priority. The popcorn here is okay, but needs to be more buttery and tasty. If you want people to come back to theaters, stop with all the commercials and serve better food. If not, get ready to close. read more

As an avid moviegoer, this is one of our favorite places to come. Only reasons not to give 5 stars is the pizza policy, which should be available more often than it is, especially on a busy night or holiday. They are also often out of nacho cheese. Avoiding the movies since the pandemic started and curious what it's like now? Let me tell you, it's not so bad! The workers are friendly and service is quick. I was assured by several employees and managers that their cleaning protocol is up to par. Shout out to the managers Kier, Rachael, and GM Franklin - you all keep the place running! Over the past couple months since resuming my movie routine I see those three constantly out on the floor making sure things are running accordingly and as a customer I really appreciate that. My only reason for not giving this place 5 stars is due to the crime that takes place outside in the parking lots. Lots of broken windows and catalytic converters missing - such a shame. Though that doesn't have a direct connection to the service the movie theater gives I do think it's something customers should be aware of. This movie theater is consistently clean, which I always appreciate. I'm also impressed by their closed captioning devices, which are always in good working order--unlike at other locations where the devices are often uncharged or malfunctioning. The heated reclining seats are another fantastic feature, providing a truly comfortable viewing experience. Although I have a theater closer to home, I don't mind traveling a bit further to this one because it's reliable and definitely worth the trip. read more

Going to the movies was always a treat when I was a kid..being an adult paying for seeing a movie can be expensive, so when I do go its got to be for an outstanding reason. Century theatres have done some nice upgrades like more leg room, electronic reclining seats that have warmers when its cold, attached food trays that move were you need them to, and multiple drink holders. I think this theater is trying to save money by not using air conditioning. Hello cinemark, one of the draws of going to the movies is AC! (Esp in summer!) Walked into theater 1 to watch Inside Out 2 and it was clearly at least 75°. Informed the manager and was told they would correct the AC but nothing was done. Needless to say, they've lost our business and we'll continue renting and watching movies at home from now on, or going to the theater in Napa or Martinez - that's better than paying $50 for two ppl to be uncomfortable for 2 hours. read more

A friend treated me to a movie for Mother's Day here. I love the remodel and, get this, NO BAR!!! That alone earned two stars. The luxury recliners here have trays and are very cushy!! They're a little short staffed, but everyone had great attitudes, smiles and were courteous. $5.75 for early bird!! read more

Staff was very helpful and courteous. The popcorn was fresh and the soda was bubbly. The inside of the theater was clean as far as I could tell in a dimly lit movie theater. But this is still an older movie theater that hasn't got as much WOW as the newer ones. But it's my "home theater" and they do a good job. read more

Do a better job when it comes to rated R movies, The last movie I seen here a group of kids in front of me, spending pretty much the whole movie, talking very very loud, banging cups and bottles on purpose on the drink tray area, also they were all on their phones most of the movies, one was talking on FaceTime, wish I was joking I'm not! Also at one point they're throwing popcorn at another kid the apparently knew ahead of them! Not even concerned if other people near by were there. Bottom line do a better damn job at carding teenagers for the love of god! If they're not 17 don't let them into these types of movies!! It's complete bullshit! My husband complained to security! They were completely useless! They said unless they start yelling they can't do anything!! Seriously!! They're talking hella loud through the whole movie and doing other distractive things! Vallejo Cinemark get it together! Before someone takes care of it on their own! Get your security to do better! $15 per ticket, and we spent $35 on food cause of the pizza prices! There's still a pandemic. We've been several time to this theater. It's decent and clean and staff is good. But today we had another group come sit next to us, no seat between, and I was very uncomfortable that I had no idea if this person was vaccinated and her head only 3 feet away from mine, with no mask because we were both eating popcorn. The seats are reserved and I think the theater should keep one seat between groups, or check vax status entering the theater. In our county if you buy food at the theater they check your vax card and I think that's a good policy, and don't put strangers next to each other. I won't go back to this theater until their policy changes or the pandemic ends. read more

Screening: "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" Matinee Premiere I hadn't been to the cinema in awhile. But am a fan of director Quentin Tarantino, so thought I'd come out for his latest film. This theater has recently been renovated and features the leather-like, heated reclining seats. However these new seats I didn't find as comfortable, as they tend to make you slouch in your chair a bit (not as upright enough for my liking). They have a handy retractable tray & cup holder for your drinks, phone & keys, etc. which is nice. They also recline back into a semi-laying position. FYI, kind of a new system where you have to choose your seat at the purchase window...it's like assigned seating now. The theater and bathrooms were very clean and parking is plentiful here. For $6.25 for a matinee show (usually the first 2 screenings of the day), it's a pretty good deal. read more
