I called Dr. Diaz's office to confirm if this was normal and if anything had happened to not achieve the perfect results expected. Dr. Diaz called and explained everything perfectly and removed all of my concerns. Dr. Diaz is truly one of the best plastic surgeons, and a rhinoplasty is like trying to do surgery on a moving target. To solve for the final 1% of my concern, I was invited to speak to him for a revision in the future if needed. This is all to say, he is truly the best and while 99.999% of his results are all home runs, sometimes very complex noses (like mine) have a slightly almost perfect result and that is OKAY! ITS being almost a year that this happened and I'm still getting treatments somewhere else to repair the damages! stay away from this place! they paid for some treatments but not all, I am paying by myself because they don't answer and I still have to get nose surgery because I can't breathe well, nostrils are super narrow after this happened . MOST TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE…read more I experienced serious complications after surgery with Dr. J that resulted in hospitalization. I developed large seromas that required multiple aspirations/drainages. Eventually, I developed cellulitis and was admitted to the hospital with a 104° fever. My procedures included full body liposuction with fat transfer to the buttocks, lipoma removal, umbilical hernia repair, and C-section scar revision. Despite the severity of the complications, Dr. J did not provide a referral or arrange appropriate post-operative specialty care (such as drain placement). I was left to find my own providers to address complications resulting from the surgery. I was told I would only need two weeks off work, but due to complications and infection, I ultimately missed five weeks. During aftercare, Dr. J was condescending and dismissive. His communication increased my anxiety and made me feel panicked rather than supported. I found his behavior inappropriate and unprofessional. After multiple aspirations, Dr. J stated I likely needed ultrasound-guided drains placed by an interventional radiologist and that he could not do it "blindly." However, instead of arranging this care, he told me to schedule an appointment with my primary care provider to obtain a referral. There was no coordinated plan for follow-up or specialty treatment. I am extremely grateful to my medical providers who ultimately treated my infection and placed drains once it was safe to do so. Unfortunately, I now need revisions due to the outcome of this surgery.

When I was finally told I could schedule, I was informed that I would now be charged new 2026 rates -- a 71% increase -- as if I were a brand-new inquiry. At no point during the months-long communication was I advised that rates would increase this dramatically or that I could protect my quote by placing a deposit, which is standard practice elsewhere. Had this been communicated, I would have absolutely done so. The lack of transparency, compassion, and professionalism was shocking, especially given how emotionally and financially difficult revision surgery already is. While Dr. Nassif's reputation for skill and empathy is what drew me to his practice, his administrative staff treated me unfairly, wasted months of my time, and showed no willingness to take accountability.
