Brad came at the end of the day and took care of the problem; he found a few other problem areas and took care of those too. He is an exceptionally kind man who gave me advice as to when I should address the wasp issue next year. He shared his philosophy and that of his company: don't do more than is necessary. Other pest control services have left me feeling that they were taking advantage of me. I feel so fortunate that he came to my rescue.

The bees were coming in through a hole in the drywall. There were hundreds of bees throughout the room. My first thought was holy s&$! Alpha pest management was recommended by one of my neighbors. Justin called me back on the day when I put in a service request via their website. While I had to wait a bit that day to get a response (this is not a big firm with lots of sales agents and so forth), I spoke with Justin (an exterminator) himself. I didn't have to waste my time speaking to some sales agent. Just asked me to send some pictures of the bees. He immediately told me they were not carpenter bees, which do not sting, but hornets which do! He came the next day to take a look around and recommended taping up the hole in the drywall. This solved the immediate problem of hundreds of bees getting into the attic. Despite Monday being a holiday, he said he was available. He came with his associate, Phillip, who does the drywall repair. Overall, a very professional and positive experience. I am very happy that these @&$!ing hornets are dead.

My favorite experience involved a pesky mouse problem we had in our kitchen...a lesser exterminator probably would have just kept putting down more traps and more poison. BioTech explained that you can and should seal off your kitchen so there are no holes large enough for a mouse to enter. They did this, but we kept seeing the mouse. They kept coming back (probably 5-6 times) at no extra charge, each time searching and finding an additional entry point. Eventually, they got them all, and we've never had a mouse since! We had an active termite infestation, they came out and analyzed it and then called Interstate Repair Services, they gave us an estimate of $1500.00 worth of damage. That did not even cover the insulation that had to be replaced. Look elsewhere for a reputable Pest company that honors its warranties. I had found the original warranty from 2000 and it states that with an active termite infestation they will pay the damages. I can attest they will not, you will be left doing the repair work and paying for it. I contemplated legal action, but at this point, it is not worth it, I have dealt with chain companies, and they are very good at hiding behind franchises. I will make it a point to let everyone know, this is how they treat customers.

About a week before the date, I received a call from Dobson telling me that my inspection date was canceled and would be rescheduled. I was getting ready to go out of town for a few weeks and said that I would call when I returned. I called and was told that the inspector would return my call. I waited a few days but never received a call back. I called again and got the same response. Again there was no returned call. I called a third time. The Dodson lady told me that one of their inspectors quit and so that they were short staffed. I told her that I understood that my inspection would be delayed but that I needed to go ahead and schedule it since I would be out of town for part of August. I reminded her that I had called several times and that I had already paid. She assured me that the inspector would call the next day. Never heard back.
