I can not recommend Amanda and her team more! When my Grandmother started showing signs of hearing loss there was no one I would rather trust more than Central Texas Hearing Center. They really treated my grandmother like family and took great care of of her. They didn't try to offer items she didn't need and made sure everything worked way past the first fitting. Conversations with my Grandmother were night and day after getting the right hearing aids. It was great to see my Grandmother come back to life in conversations. I found Levi Young to be a strange character. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable.

On 2/16/2019, I had an appointment with Dr. Angela Carey, Au.D., CCC-A, for the evaluation of my high frequency hearing loss. Dr. Carey is friendly, listens to patient concerns, provides clear answers to questions asked as well as is professional. My exam from start to finish took approximately an hour. Amazing! They couldn't have been kinder or more patient. I called less than an hour before closing time on a Friday because one of my husband's earplugs broke off in his ear. The receptionist said to come on in, the doctor was still there. Dr. Langham was so professional and careful. It took a while because it was so hard to reach, so far up his ear canal and so hard to grab. But she stayed late and kept working until she got it out. We are so grateful. This practice totally deserves their high customer ratings. We recommend them highly. read more

I hope this is the correct format to register a compliment to Dr. Young and his staff. I have found such everyday comfort with my resound hearing aids. They have honestly changed my quality of life. After experiencing hearing loss since I was a young man I have, at 72, found what most people have been enjoying their whole life. All these years of muffled hearing did not even allow me to enjoy the music experiences all those around me found as the norm. I no longer shy away from conversations but explore them. After 2 years of use I found myself in a precarious situation. Dr. Young and his staff had been exceptional in their customer service but I had an issue with the company that made the aids. I called Dr. Young's office to inform them of my problem and to explain that I was more than satisfied with the outstanding service I had been receiving but I had a problem with the company. This is where Dr. Young stepped up to the plate and went above and beyond good service. Dr, Young called me personally and asked me to give him an opportunity to contact the company and see if he could resolve my situation. Within only minutes I received another call from Dr. Young and the situation was resolved, .Now that is customer service at its finest.. Thank you to Dr. Young and his staff for all you do. A couple of years ago I was wearing a very old set of hearing aids that needed adjustment. This set required special wires and equipment to get it done. I went to at least four different hearing aid centers and I was always told that my set was too old and that I needed to buy new ones. Then I met Dr. Levi Young at the Central Texas Hearing Center. I explained to Dr Young that I was not ready to spend thousands of dollars on a new set yet, and asked him if he could help me by re-programming my old set. His response was "let's see what we can do to help you." Dr Levi contacted the hearing aid manufacturer while I waited in the lobby and a few minutes later he came out of the office with a bunch of wires in his hand and other items. When I told him that I was sorry for the trouble, his reply was "I love the challenge" and his goal was to help me hear. He downloaded the software that was needed and installed it in his PC. After doing a test on my hearing he was able to program my hearing aids, and it was not easy. . They were old and did not have the range that I needed, but I told him that when I get ready for the new pair that I was going to come to him. So that is how I got to meet Dr Young and I was very impressed with him, he is very kind and compassionate, a person who loves his job of helping others other than just making a quick buck. His parents should be very proud of him. A few months later I returned to Central Texas Hearing and bought a pair of the best hearing aids they had. About a year later, the rechargeable batteries on those hearing aids were giving me problems. I spend many hours a day playing video games on my PC and the batteries would not last long enough. He placed a call to the manufacturer of the hearing aids and they graciously agreed to replace the hearing aids with one that uses replaceable batteries. As always, Levi very happy to help. To Dr Young employer, Dr Young is a keeper! He is one of those employees that are hard to find. Thank you for making my life a lot better! read more

I went to the Austin location on Anderson, and I think this place is just great. Best audiologist experience I've had -- and I've had many at this point (all over Austin) and am in a position to compare and contrast. My audiologist was Dr. Levi Young. I went to get an audiogram, new molds, and new adjustments to my existing aids to parallel any changes in my audiogram, as well as to research new aids and their new features. Not only did I get all that, but he answered quite a few additional questions, on those and related topics, and I learned quite a bit involving some helpful technology in this area that I had no idea even existed (not a common situation in my life). I would cheerfully recommend both Dr. Young and the exceptionally helpful receptionist Jane to anybody currently in the market for anything in this area. You simply can't do any better. We took my 93 year old Mother to see Dr. Langham to see about replacing one hearing aid as she had lost it. The total office experience was great. Everyone was very friendly and very knowledgeable. They even showed her a telephone for the hearing impaired that was free from the Texas Department of Rehabilitation Services and will help complete all the paperwork to qualify her for the phone. Dr. Langham as well as her associate were extremely friendly, provided complete information regarding our options and were more than willing to answer any questions we had. They never tried to "sell" us anything, and were very free with the options and pricing which was extremely competitive.
