My 4 year old had Ms. KitKat and my 7 year old had Mrs. Bain and I am so thankful for their patience and kindness towards my girls. Learning ballet at any age can be a challenge but they made it so fun and disciplined! The girls also took hip hop and that was a joy to watch them learn and grow in dance! Thank you so much for all the love and support you have given my girls! Best dance place they have in central texas hand down, huge recommendation!!

The owner and her adult daughters frequently bicker in the lobby. The owner and others gossip about other parents. My most recent time, my daughter had to use the restroom. When I took her back there, there was no toilet paper, soap, or paper towels. A male teenager up front said that they are going through it too fast so they won't be providing it and the owner gave me a toilet paper roll to bring back there but then said I had to bring it back. I then had to take my kid out to the car to use hand sanitizer. LOL. It's so sad, it's comical. I would use caution when deciding on this place.

We decided to take a chance and try it out. Nestled in a business center along with a closed restaurant and a dollar store is this awesome dance studio. Since my daughter has started coming here I've noticed her confidence level go up, she is so happy getting out all that energy from her system and applying it to flexibility and strength training in tumbling, jazz, ballet, and tap dance. She loves it so so much. She is always in the hands of professionals and trainers that fill their class with good music, moves that will warm her up for a successful performance at the end of the year. At the end of the year they show different performances that they prepare for during the year to end in a grand finale! So excited to see my little girl blossom and become strong & athletic. Can't wait to see her perform at the end of the year! I think it's every ballet parents' dream come true. Feels so rewarding! If you want your child to excel in flexibility & strength, it doesn't matter if they were born for it or they have difficulty in it, this is the place to go. Check it out, the first class trial is free! Also if your friends kids join, you get a discount for referring. Lots of benefits for joining. It's a win win if you ask me.

My daughter has continued to grow by leaps and bounds every year. She has developed not only a passion for dance but an appreciation for fine arts in all forms. There is no better place to study all forms of dance than Collective Danxe Artistry!

I love the ambiance, it is clean, the…read moreinstructors (we've encountered) have been kind, and my daughter has definitely increased her dancing skills since her start. While we look forward to continuing our time at CDA, the school could do better with a few things. What could be better... - be selective with the students who can join the school. I don't say this to mean discrimination. I mean this to say... not all girls want to dance. It's their parents who want them to dance. The girls get in the class and are disruptive and take away from the lessons. - enforce the rules you have posted throughout the halls. If observation rooms are to be quiet, then enforce that. - the front desk staff are polite. However, they should also be knowledgeable and helpful. I have left on many occasions, not getting the answers to the questions being asked. Why wouldn't the front desk be able to help a parent with identifying classes? - email is NOT the only form of communication. When do parents have time to chat with the instructor? Quick questions...seems like parents only get that opportunity if their kid is the one acting up. - the classes are getting larger, not sure if that is on purpose, or if people are making up missed days, but the classes should be capped. The dance rooms aren't that big, and given the instructor/dancer ratio... it only leads to more playing in the class vs. actual learning. - I can not say that in the time that we have been at the school, that I have ever met the owner. It would be nice if she would make her self known and dedicate one week to being available each day. All in all, I think the school wants to give off a homey vibe, which they very well do. But the business side that is very on top of payments does not align. When you pay for something, there is an expectation of service, and generally, that is not the laid back/passive approach. To be clear: - larger classes, should have two instructors that are able to redirect behavior. Or disruptive dancers should be dismissed from the class - dancer uniform should be enforced (no ponytails, jewelry, etc) - staff should monitor the halls for disruptive parents and guardians (asking them to step out with their sreaming siblings, etc) -offer time for the instructor to have a quick(5 min) convo with parents at some point so they know how their child is doing or what they should work on. - where is the dancer discipline? Even at the younger ages, you can set a standard to be followed. Recommended school, but would love to see standards and expectations that are higher.

I have followed Assemble Cocktail Workshop on Instagram and have always thought it looked super…read morefun, so when a friend wanted to do a private party for her birthday - it was a no brainer! We arrived a bit early and Lillian quickly whipped us up a welcome cocktail which she called "A Walk in the Garden". It was a prosecco based cocktail and absolutely delicious (and pretty). While we enjoyed this cocktail and looked around the shop... she prepared the workshop space for the lesson. The birthday girl had been given a list of cocktails in advance and was able to select the ones she wanted to learn how to make (she selected the Blackberry Smash & Bee's Knees). One thing I loved about this class is that Lillian gave options with each cocktail so that everyone would end up with a drink they loved. For example, if you don't like bourbon which is typically in a Bee's Knees... you could use gin instead! Then we had the options to make it spicy/sweet/herbal/ etc. By the end of the class... we all had different and personalized cocktails. In addition to the cocktails, Lillian prepared a large bowl of popcorn with specialty seasonings and showed us some of the fun tools that can be used for different prep methods. We also had downtime between making each drink to enjoy them and chat amongst ourselves. This class made for the perfect outing... we're already talking about doing another for the next girl's weekend. I cannot recommend this class enough and will absolutely be back!

What's not to love about making delicious and fun cocktails with friends?!…read more Lillian's cocktail workshops are a great interactive activity for anyone who is looking to up their cocktail game. I was doing a birthday weekend with friends in Boerne and came across Assemble Cocktail via Visit Boerne. I booked a private Tiki session for 7 of us and it was the perfect way to celebrate with friends. If there's only one or two of you, you can book an open session that's available. We made Mai Tais and Painkillers - both were delicious. Since I had a couple of folks who were preggo, I notified Lillian and she made sure to have two setups with zero-proof "spirits." Lillian was a great teacher and host. She has aprons and leis so the vibes were perfect. The location is a cute bungalow tucked behind another business on Main Street (kind of easy to miss if you're looking for it right on Main Street). The business started at the beginning of the year, so it's fairly new, but add it to your list of things to do if you're in the Boerne area!
