I showed up about 20 minutes before closing and asked a lot of questions about different options for my fence. Daniel showed me all the supplies and better yet told me when he wasn't sure about answers to my questions. The lumber is far better quality than Lowes. You don't have to pick through stacks to find the good boards and they deliver. The co-manger stayed past closing to give my estimate. They are better stocked for decking and shed materials. Sadly not open on Sundays but will definitely go back for my next project.

He was very rude, spoke overly loudly (and I say this as someone who wears hearing aids), and was gleeful (when I told him his attitude had me reconsidering shopping at Menards) about telling me the store didn't need my business. I did not feel welcome with my service animal, due to his behavior. I will nolonger be encouraging friends and family to shop at Menards and will probably cancel my credit card with the store. Hope that this guy somehow manages to make money for the store, cause he certainly turned me off today with my home improvement supplies list that I will be taking to Lowes.

If you do find someone to "help" you and ask where an item is located, they point to some area of the store and say "It should be..." Zero customer service. Compared to other big hardware stores, Menards is horrible.
