Well , where do I begin? I did my homework and find out what is required for the job in question,…read moreright down to permit requirements. In this case it was my moms roof. I didn't want her to be taken advantage off. So when the Eclipse team came to the house for the first time and sat down to speak us, I was equipped. But I was surprisingly REALLY impressed with the correct knowledge they had. The two representatives were Tony and Garrett and they were very kind, respectful, honest and understanding while still being professional. That complete package is VERY hard to find in any construction industry. They showed a GREAT face of the company ! They broke everything down. And I challenge you , if you decide to speak with them about your project, to go ahead and ask for a copy of their business license, insurance and even workman's comp. They will have it and be glad to give it to you! Tony even held our hand through the Insurance claim side of the job. it was my mom's first major insurance claim. And he ask if we had any questions or challenges. Now about the job: Now to put it in perspective the house is 150 years old and the roof was pretty bad. Tony and Garrett broke down the game plan on the "replacement" of the roof. (NOT Cover up like other companies do) And they kept in contact with us the whole time. The asked us if there were anything outside that needed protected when they come to put on the new roof. When the day came to work on the roof , Tony and Garrett were right in with the rest of the crew working along side. The entire team completed the job in one day. One 13 hour day. They also communicated with us about the clean up and left no shingle unturned. In conclusion this team exceeded our expectations on every step of the job. Don't be scammed by the other companies in the area . Instead I would HIGHLY recommend you save money and time by going straight to ECLIPSE CONTRUCTION !! And do it right the first time !! Thank you for reading my review!

Anyone wanting to use this company, message me, I have pictures videos to back up my review. We…read morehad a 35,000 insurance claim for the inside of our home which included extensive drywall work, lvp and hardwood installation, plumbing , painting. They had one person, Mike , with his son and cousin do all of it. Hardwoods became an issue-at least 20 different places with lippage, and gaps big enough to place credit card in, which I did to demonstrate how big they were, Chris/owner came out and refused to replace it. He opened door to our laundry room, I asked him what he was doing and asked him to close it, he proceeded to open and pointed down to a 20 plus year old transition piece of hardwood and said pre existing condition this is what you had before, meaning I should be grateful for what I have because our floors were showing age, told me I was being too picky and referred again to our pre existing floors. Next day, they bring in another worker who placed filler in the gaps, he had been doing so for 6 hours before we asked him to stop so we would have time to research long term effects of so much filler. Mike, installer, stated multiple times it was a manufacturing issue/problem with hardwoods and pointed to a huge pile of waste where it wouldn't fit together properly, when boss/owner, Chris Lazzelle came he back peddled on all of it, would not stand on his word of what he previously said, asked him why he changed his story, played the semantics game told us, "I said it was a manufacturing issue not problem." Are you kidding me? This is after he told us he left the bright construction light for us so we could see all the issues. We had to have transition strip from kitchen to living room replaced due to not matching three times, when I say didn't match, it was like black and white. Any issue with hardwood or hardwood steps was always met with we will fill it, I understand filler is used in all hardwood installs, but not to fill gaps that I literally placed a credit card in to show Mr Lazelle. What speaks volumes is the fact that the project manager coming on VERY LAST day of rebuild and stated "I'm just collecting information." WHAT, on last day?!?!? We Didn't even know he existed until he randomly started messaging my husband with appointments for cleaning and what not. This was our first time dealing with insurance and or contractors, PLEASE do your homework, we were too trusting!

However I…read morenever got any e-mail replies to my question "Who did you order it from", so I could see where my stove is. I asked Jim to just refund my money. I sent him about $2000. If he ordered the stove from the company he claimed he ordered it from "eleganthomeusa" they say it cost $734.00. I would be happy if he just refunded me my deposit - $734 until he gets his credit card refunded, however He will not refund me anything. This is what makes me feel he is trying to scam me. I canceled the order please return my deposit.

DO NOT HIRE! The damages they caused to our roof and property are extensive and they refused to…read moretake responsibility. They would not give their insurance information to cover their liability. What's worse is they were rude and disrespectful multiple times throughout our efforts to resolve the mess they made of our property. They let concrete splatter all over our new roof, the sidewalks, and the entryway. When they had an opportunity to clean it up they tried to blame us, the owners, because we needed to withhold payment to resolve their issue. Horrible experience with no accountability whatsoever. The fireplace insert was installed crooked and isn't secure. They didn't even wire the blower fan to work properly. In addition there were 3 boxes that came with the fireplace that were necessary for the installation we set up for them right at the opening and they didn't even open the boxes! Absolutely horrendous experience! Do not hire.

UPDATED REVIEW: As I said before, 'thoroughly review the…read morework contract' with this guy. On the phone, I asked for a "total cost" of the job...total cost means TOTAL, as in no other charges will be added. So, he quoted something over $7000 as the total, and since we had already discussed the job, I simply signed the contract. AFTER signing the contract, I found out there was a separate charge to flush the lines to the tune of $975. Just flushing water thru the lines...$975, and he isnt even paying the water bill. The camera charge of $325 simply to view my sewer lines...is it a golden camera? And the cost to dig up the basement and install a fiberglass inner pipe to the cracked older pipe of $7025 So, the total was in reality $8325. Then he held onto my checks for over a month. Close to two months. I texted him to cash the checks or the money was going back to my savings. So, of course two weeks after my text, he tries to cash the checks, resulting in an ISF for the $7025. He "just texted me," demanding i write a 'new check' for another check for $7025 or he will see his attorney, as a matter of a fact, I think I'll see mine. But thats pretty damn slick, that would be $14050 if I actually wrote a second check for $7025 If a check comes back ISF, the bank will run that check again (redeposit it), that is common practice. Redeposit the check Clyde...you aint getting paid twice. And, as I said, your experience with this guy is irrelevant to my experience. Companies often see an easy mark in older women, who are single and have no male presence in the house....so if he was good with you, that has zero to do with my experience. women beware.
