I have it at three stars because it's more of an annoyance and there should be a different way of doing it, and thats checking to ensure everyone has paid on the light rail. on average i get checked 3-4 times just in the morning on the B line and sometimes by the same person and sometimes they see me scan my phone at the little kiosk. I understand the need to check but come on. There should be a way better implementation. also it creates a safety hazard when the train starts to move. Idk about every one else but thats my two cents. and one more thing for the buses, hold onto a chair because they brake hard, at least on the ones I take.

My return ride was scheduled for 3:00pm. Two additional riders were picked up. I got home at 4:20pm. From start to finish over 4 hours with the appointment lasting less than an 1 hour. The remainder of the time was waiting for paratransit. This is unacceptable. The wait times have gotten progressively longer.

I wish they would expand the service throughout the valley instead of just cutting down the middle. The fair is very cheap, $2 for a one way ticket anywhere is great deal anywhere. The Downtown Phoenix Hub is the transfer point between the A and B lines. The B line is the north-south line that opened in 2025. The hub itself is located on the block formed by Central Avenue, 1st Avenue, Jefferson Street and Washington Street. To jump from the A line to the B line and back, you have to get off the light rail train that you are riding on when it stops at this hub. Then walk across the street to the station of the other line that you are wanting to go on. The first time that I tried switching trains, I was so confused. But I eventually figured it out. Both CityScape and the Suns Arena are nearby. I don't ride the Valley Metro often. But I am glad that I have it as an option for transportation. I mostly ride the light rail to sporting events and to the airport to avoid parking fees.

During the call, the rep requested access to my phone to help me navigate the process. I allowed it and he proceeded to access my bank account and steal $975 from me!! He then attempted to charge my bank account through Uber $500 eight different times within the following hour. I have a bank statement, confirming this. The attempted charges come from Uber. I have contacted Uber on more than 15 occasions since the incident, never getting any real attention whatsoever. Instead, I always get an automated message telling me since the charges did not go through, they are closing the case. And just like that, I am dismissed! There is no getting a hold of a live human at Uber. It's all automated and it's all generic and nobody there cares about my situation. Needless to say, I will never recommend or use this company ever again. Ever. Uber is the most unprofessionally run business I've ever used in my entire life. My advice to anyone considering using Uber is to find a different service. This company is not worth giving your money to. They should be ashamed of themselves. They do not know how to treat their customers. They are unAmerican.

The Blue Line WAS a North/South bus loop winding from concrete Paradise Valley Mall down to some…read moreSouth Phoenix oasis (probably a myth since I've never been there) called the "Ed Pastor Center", and back again. The Blue Line WAS great because I could pick it up just outside my home near Squaw Peak and ride it through the Camelback corridor, down Central to downtown. Without a transfer. That's all changed with light rail. Instead of proceeding down Central to downtown, the line's new southern terminus is Central and Camelback, a fortuitous endpoint for Sweet Tomatoes & Applebees' afficionados but not so great for citizenry with taste. Or places to go. Like, uh, me. Now I trudge off the bus, sneer at Applebee's and get my cancerous tan waiting for ostensibly convenient light rail to venture downtown. It's worse coming back, timing the transfer, cuz the bus back to my house only runs every half hour. This "new improved" Blue Line (they now call it the 39, presumably for the extra minutes they've tacked onto my trip) is makin' me blue. On second thought, maybe I'll just hop in the car :- (
