    9 to 5 program

This theater is such a gem for the Largo area community and visitors. I saw two performances there this week: an Irish comedy show and 9 to 5 by the Eight O'Clock Theatre group. I especially enjoyed 9 to 5. The performers were as good as any on Broadway! As this was a musical, their voices soared and didn't fail. I look forward to seeing more of their shows in the future. All seats are good seats in the main sections: A, B, and C. The seat depth is excellent--with a lot of room for your legs. They also have a small concession booth offering drinks and small snacks at very reasonable prices. Parking is excellent and convenient. Ticket prices are affordable too at about $35 per seat, including taxes and fees.

Thursday night was my first visit here to see a performance, and I enjoyed this very small venue! I saw West Side Story, presented by Eight O'Clock Theatre, because my friend's daughter had a role as one of the Sharks' girls. And I thoroughly enjoyed watching my first performance here! The day prior, when I'd looked online, the only available seats were on the side, general-admisiion *obstructed view*. Since I would be alone, I wasn't horribly concerned. Because my friend had advised me to call the box office instead of ordering online to save the $7 convenience fee, I called & was delighted my ticket was even a couple of dollars less than what I thought was the ticket price. And then, on the night of the performance, when I found my friend, she told me she'd been able to buy a couple of reserved seats earlier that day so I could sit with her. As we went inside, I noticed those side GA seats WERE very much on the side, but NOT obstructed at all. And the seating looked incredibly comfortable for folding chairs - so that would've been a decent place to sit. My friend's seats were on the next-to-last row of reserved seating, near center... and I felt like I was very close to the action! The acoustics in the theatre were quite good, and the small orchestra pit had an excellent sound. Our seats were well-cushioned & very comfortable, plus I had plenty of legroom. The quality of this performance was equal to other theatre productions I've seen at much larger venues! I'm definitely looking forward to enjoying another performance there soon!

Date of Visit: 11/08/2025 5:30pm…read more After some shopping at the mall the wife and I were wanting to grab a beer somewhere. As we were heading out the parking I mentioned CJ's across the street. We have never been there before but friends of ours do play there once in while. So that's where we headed. As others have stated there is plenty of parking, in the main lot and in back. We parked in the main lot. Walked inside an immediately notice this was a place for music. No bands were playing since it was early. Found a spot at the bar, may have been ten others sitting at the bar. There was only one bar tender working the bar and she was working it. She came and saw us right after sitting and got our drink orders. Not sure if we wanted to eat but we still looked over the menu. We decided to get some food. I noticed they do a smashburger and I am always up for a that. The wife has been watching what she eats and decided on the chicken strips. The food didn't take long to arrive and both looked very good. My burger was done right, double cheesesmash with LTO just the way I like it. I got fries with it as well and I must say these were some mighty good fries. My wife really liked her chicken strips too. They were not battered and not overly fried, still very moist on the inside. She has been trying to stay away from overly fried foods and these were not overly done. I believe she ate them all as well. Since it was early there were no seating issues like I have read from others. And if your a car person they do a last Sunday of the month breakfast buffet and car show in the morning. Looking forward to that. All I can say is give this place a try. May have to go in the evening and listen to some live music. Peace.

Now it hosts musical acts, podcasters, movies and more! We recently attended THE HIDDEN BRAIN's podcast live taping, hosted by WUSF 89.7FM. It was a fabulous experience. We parked down the street, and it was free. The ushers and security personnel were friendly & efficient. The seats were comfortable, it was easy to see the stage from the back of the house, & the temperature was perfect inside (blazing hot outside). The ladies room had 6 or 7 stalls, and it seemed as if all of us women were able to use the facilities and return to our seats in the time allotted for the intermission. We did not purchase food or drinks, but a wide selection of each was available in the lobby areas, and adequately staffed. Prices seemed reasonable. This theatre is affiliated with Ruth Eckerd Hall. When purchasing tickets, you can save money on fees by buying tickets at their box office instead of online or by phone.

The whole setup is so nice- a huge sprawling lawn behind dozens of rows of chairs, with a small standing only area up front. It's got the perfect mix of seating options, so if you prefer the standing/ mosh pit style you can do that without feeling too overwhelmed, or there are seats you can reserve so you know you'll have somewhere to sit beforehand. When we went, there were also a cluster of food trucks off to the side that were open all through the concert. With a good variety of actual quality food and drink, it was such an awesome bonus to an already amazing concert and atmosphere. All the workers were pretty friendly and it is was a solid experience. I'd say the worst part is parking but that's very typical especially when going to a concert or big event.
