Salad bar and rolls started us off; when the warm buffet was served, a row of tables was asked to come forward. The dinner course was amazing! Tonight we had green beans, mashed potatoes, rice pilaf, meatballs, salmon (with a delicious sauce on top), fresh carved ham and/or roast beef. I think there was chicken too, but it was temporarily not available when we went through the line. I'm sure it was great, but we were too full to return for more. Dinner is also served with a dessert. Now the play... it was adorable! We saw Becky's New Car, which was a delightful comedy. All the actors did a superb job, even Steve's understudy. Lots of laughs. It was fun how they involved the audience! I'm sure whatever play they choose to put on at this theater would be fun to see. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

This place is packed with personality from every angle. Bowling balls are everywhere stacked, lined, and worked into the yard in ways that make you stop and stare. It feels like someone took a simple idea and just ran completely wild with it in the best way possible. Then you start noticing all the unexpected details: random statues scattered throughout the property, SpongeBob characters popping up in places you wouldn't expect, and CDs hanging from strings that catch the light and move with the breeze. It's like stepping into a fully DIY art installation where anything goes and more is more. What makes it so great is that nothing about it feels normal or restrained. It's loud, weird, colorful, and totally unique. Every time you look around, you notice something you didn't see before, which makes it feel like the house keeps changing as you explore it. Overall, the Bowling Ball House is pure creative chaos in the best way possible. It's fun, bizarre, and completely unforgettable a true local landmark that proves art doesn't have to make sense to be amazing.

Now it hosts musical acts, podcasters, movies and more! We recently attended THE HIDDEN BRAIN's podcast live taping, hosted by WUSF 89.7FM. It was a fabulous experience. We parked down the street, and it was free. The ushers and security personnel were friendly & efficient. The seats were comfortable, it was easy to see the stage from the back of the house, & the temperature was perfect inside (blazing hot outside). The ladies room had 6 or 7 stalls, and it seemed as if all of us women were able to use the facilities and return to our seats in the time allotted for the intermission. We did not purchase food or drinks, but a wide selection of each was available in the lobby areas, and adequately staffed. Prices seemed reasonable. This theatre is affiliated with Ruth Eckerd Hall. When purchasing tickets, you can save money on fees by buying tickets at their box office instead of online or by phone.
