Went to a friends wedding here and was thoroughly impressed with the venue!…read more Since it's located in downtown St Pete, I was initially concerned about parking- but no worries- they had a private lot next door that was reserved for wedding guests. The ceremony was set up beautifully in a room that had the nice architecture of a chapel without the religious undertones. Cocktail hour was held downstairs in the basement area, while the transformed the ceremony area into the reception area. Staff was friendly, drinks were flowing, and a good time was being had by all. Even though the reception was in the same room as the ceremony, the refreshed set up with the tables and lighting totally transformed the room. There was a large area for a buffet, bar and eventually- dance floor. There's a lot of historic character to this venue- wood floors- wide baseboards, nice archways. Was a great choice for a wedding!

My (now) husband and I completely fell in love with the Lyceum after walking in. The venue has a beautiful 1920's charm to it. From the beautiful chandeliers to the grand piano to the gorgeous balconies, the Lyceum is truly on of a kind. The way this place functions is really interesting, too. The ceremony and reception are held in the same spot. After the ceremony, the party proceeds downstairs to the basement for cocktail hour when the staff flips the upstairs into a reception area. The space looks like two completely different rooms, but completely beautiful in their own way. I must mention the staff. Brian and Cortney were both so easy to work with. They made sure my wedding day went like clockwork and were very attentive to all of my questions. I could not recommend the Lyceum more highly. What a spectacular venue!

We have several workspaces in The Burg and every place advised me to look at them all and then, choose the place where I liked the VIBE. It was good advice. And, I went with Thrive. Though I thought it would be short term, I ended up staying. I found that after years of working at home, I liked being in an office atmosphere with other people. Everything I needed to "thrive" in a business was provided and quite a few extras (a meditation room, shower, zoom room, and podcast studio.) Over time, I have met a lot of people, attended special events, and even feel more connected to the community beyond our walls. The GreenHouse Million Cups on Wednesday mornings is right around the corner from Thrive. Thrive is a community, and if you are looking for that, not just a place to set up your laptop for a few hours, come check out the Vibe here.

What I love about ABA is the way the teachers speak to the students. They encourage, correct, and praise in such a way as to give each child what he or she needs at that point in his/her dance education. The children love being there because of the camaraderie of the other kids and the family atmosphere. The older students take the younger ones under their wings, but don't substitute for the teachers. The performances are not stressed-out recitals but wonderful showings of what the students can now do. I would absolutely recommend this studio to parents who want a safe, caring experience for their children!!
