What an amazing find to say the least! Very eclectic atmosphere with an array of arts all around you! Definitely go if you've never been. It looks like nothing when you pull up but when you walk in you don't want to leave! The live music has been great every time. You can even bring your own libations, food and more. This is he most relaxing and esthetically pleasing environment by far. Bring cash for cover and know that it is helping keep this place going! Its BYOB and food which is AWESOME. Definitely eclectic. We've seen some great local bands here, off the beaten path of course. Park where you're told or you will be towed. Bring bug spray and your own beer or wine. Everyone is treated like you've been here a hundred times even when it's your first. And to Missy who states it's a drug induced atmosphere where the law turns a blind eye, that's far from the truth!!This place has been around for so long because it's mellow, the visitors don't get drunk and fight nor do they sit around smoking dope and doing drugs all night. I have seen kids here, although personally I don't approve of it , but there's a lot worse on the TV i bet you let them watch then you'd ever find here. Not a place for me on a regular basis, but a good chill spot when in a really casual mood and see some local talent. read more

If you just want to get out and hear some live music and relax with lots of people in the most casual environment for only $5, then the Blueberry Patch is worth visiting for sure. It is a VERY inclusive venue from tots to the elderly. You can bring your own food and beverages(alcoholic or non-alcoholic). For an evening out on a limited budget, this IS the place. read more

AMAZING! This place MUST be seen to be believed. It is like some kind of magical oasis, and when you are there at night it feels like you might be in a different world entirely! Everyone who comes gets treated like family, so make sure to do the same. Don't expect fancy-schmancy seating and facilites (it's set up in a very large backyard basically)...The restroom will be something you laugh about later. Make sure to bring your own beer in a cooler, AND BUG SPRAY!... and I recommend bringing your own camp chairs as some of the seating on site are a bit "rustic". Admission is 'suggested' at 5 bucks, well worth it since you can BYOB...people often bring food to share as well. The open mic night should be on all Florida visitors' list of things to see and do, if you like art and music and magic. No review can express what this place is. Just go, see, experience and love it. That is all....LOVE!!! read more

Dallas has been kind enough and sweet enough to bring everyone together in his back yard since then and for someone to say "Bring some money for the kitty, or don't , since the guy's so stoned out of his gourd he won't remember five minutes later if you donated or not." is really showing ignorance for everything The Patch is about. WHAT The Patch is about is this... "The Blueberry Patch is perhaps Florida's oldest artists' retreat. The Patch was born in love, on July 7, 1977 (7/7/77). See our web page for more information ! Hard to put words what this place is. First it's in the middle of a neighborhood across from a Wells Fargo. Strange place to put something so unsuspecting. First thoughts were: Is it where hippies hang out? A venue? An event space? A place to look at cool art and statues? It's all of those. Throw in random lights, and intimate spaces some covered some not covered, random chairs and tables, classic cars turned into art, cut-outs to take pictures with your head poking out, and drum circles. It made for quite the evening I was quite overwhelmed coming inside. There are so many paths to take. A few of my friends come here fairly regularly. Pros: you can bring your own booze ummm yes I did. They had food but I'm sure you can bring your own. They had several bands on stage the night I went. Cons: the limited bathrooms and terrible smelling port-potties. I will be back here the next time my friends want to see a band. read more

Great atmosphere! I go to the blueberry patch about once a month, and it's worth it! It doesn't get old. The music is always peaceful yet funny. There are a perfect amount of seats. I love how freely spirited everyone always is, and the lack of rules is pretty awesome! Cheers! read more

What a lovely place with even lovelier people. The spirits were high, the vibes were rocking amd the art was everywhere. Each nook and cranny there was some thing interesting to look at. It's been called a hippie heaven... more like a drug haven. Don't be fooled. This is not a place for kids, though you will see some... they're probably used to their parents being stoned. To each his own, but don't call the patch wholesome. The local law turns a blind eye and always have. read more
