We've had a great experience here! They accommodated my daughter last minute when our prior daycare abruptly closed. Immediately my daughter seemed happier and curriculum was stronger. I was also impressed that they truly did teach my child some Spanish. There is great communication. Because of this experience we now also have our younger child with them. The leadership has been stable for many many years as well, which is rare. Finally, they are nut free thankfully so no worries about these allergies. read more

Our son has been here for 2.5 years and we have been very happy with the care and education he's receiving! A large center is not for everyone but it works out well for us; we like the consistency and the knowledge he is well cared for and nurtured every day. My daughter started at Knowledge Beginnings at 14 weeks. She's now 3, and I couldn't be happier with our experience. The teachers care so much for their kids. It feels like family. We switched from a daycare that abruptly shut down to Knowledge Beginnings and are so thrilled with our child's new home. He is always playing and interacting with his teachers who take great pride in loving and teaching him. He gets a little unruly on three day weekends because he likes daycare so much. The hours are also perfect, especially for physicians in training. It takes us about five minutes to get from daycare to the Anschutz campus. We have been with KB for 4 years now and absolutely love it! Both of our kids have been there since 3 months old and we fully trust their staff with them. My daughter started at Knowledge Beginnings as a 1 one year old and will be graduating Pre-K this May. Her leaving the KB is bittersweet as she has had such a positive experience over the past 3 years. The staff is friendly and kind and goes out of their way to make every child feel special. They offer a structured curriculum that is unit based and provide parents with email updates to share how they can reinforce lessons learned at home. They are also good about providing advanced notice of upcoming events or on the (very) rare occasion they have a delayed start or are going to be unexpectedly closed. The facility is clean and conveniently located in the Central Park neighborhood. Their operating hours are also a huge plus for working parents with drop off starting at 6:30am and pick up as late as 6:30pm. This alone makes them standout among many of the other local competitors. Their pricing is competitive and they are an approved UPK provider. I would highly recommend. read more

We've sent both of our kids to knowledge beginnings and have had a great experience. They've taken great care of our kids and shown them a lot of love. Our oldest just started Kindergarten this year. We feel he was very well prepared. He just won Dragon of the month (an award for leadership and good listening) and I'd attribute a lot of this to all the teachers he's had over the years, especially at pre-k with Ms. Julie and Ms. Joyce. The teachers were great (seriously), but the operation was very poorly managed. Communication from the staff was constantly lacking and there was always a frantic energy in the building, often leaving the front-door unattended. Overall we had a fine experience, but then we bumped up against their "do not tell parents if there was a shooting next door" policy in Oct 2024 (https://kdvr.com/news/local/1-transported-after-shooting-on-havana-street-in-denver-police/). We were alerted that the school was locked-down, but never told why. Finally after a week of asking, they said that there was 'an incident across the street' but refused any further details. Finally we took to the internet to learn that there was a shooting in the parking lot. When we raised our concerns about the lack of communication and transparency, the entire management chain (assistant director, director, and regional director) doubled-down on their lack of communication because they wanted to "not raise alarm". We unenrolled as soon as we found a different option. If you'd prefer to keep your head buried in the sand, Knowledge Beginnings is the group for you. If you want a trusting relationship with the folks caring for your child, look elsewhere. read more

We had a very positive experience at Knowledge Beginnings. We started my son there when he was 5 months old. He was there til he was 4 years old. My daughter was there from 4 months to 1 year. The infant room teachers are so caring and attentive. The pre-k teachers are great and really prepare the kids for kindergarten with learning to write. Ms G the director is the best. She is easy to get a hold of and always helpful. Lots of fun daily activities for the kids. Couldn't be happier with our time there. read more

I originally enrolled my infant son (when he was only 4 months in utero) because Knowledge Beginnings was so close to our home, without doing tons of research on all of my options--then I realized I should have done more research but it was too late because all of the waitlists in our area were too long. When he was 3 months old, he started attending Knowledge Beginnings. As a new mom, and as someone who did not look at my other options, I was so nervous. He has been there for nearly 2 months, and I am happy to report that he truly loves it. He smiles so wide when he sees the ladies in the infant room, and he is always very content when I pick him up at the end of the day. They let me drop by whenever I want to say hello, and they take good care of all of the babies there. So far, our experience has been great, and I am very picky about things like this! read more

We love Central Park Knowledge Beginnings! This center was recommended to us by a friend whose baby also attends. We enrolled our son at just under 3 months old into the infant classroom. They have longer hours than a lot of places that we toured. The facilities are clean and bright. We love his teachers! They are both such sweet people and were willing to accommodate all of my personal wishes for my baby's care. They do activities (art/reading/music time) even for the infant classrooms, which we liked. Also, the app with updates and photos throughout the day was very reassuring for a mom leaving her baby in someone else's hands for the first time. Parking/dropoff/pickup are quick without issue. Our son started here at 12 weeks of age. Not only did he do very well, they were also very kind to me, a parent who had a lot of sad and anxious feelings about leaving her tiny baby at daycare. My daughter's been going to Knowledge beginnings for over a year. She started as an infant. There have been some bumpy roads, but with any place they get smoothed out with diligence and patience. I loved her infant teacher but when she was moved I was not a fan of her toddler teacher. My daughter really struggled in her toddler class. That teacher was not a good fit and left and thank God for that. The director knew my concerns and addressed them. Her current teachers are amazing and I am so pleased with my daughter's progress so far. ( i would give the center a 5 star rating now, but to be objective in that it has not been 100% positive- 4 seems appropriate) Things continue to change and morph and update....but no don't mind change so it doesn't bother me near as much as other people. Change is a part of life. Few things to note: I worked in a daycare center for years. Bumpy roads happen in all centers and you are kidding yourself if you think it's not happening at your center too. It's a part of the working environment. Stay patient in your concerns and work with your center to get what you need. Few things to look for...how's your child feeling? Are they happy? Learning? Sleeping? Eating? Take the cues from your kiddo and listen to them. Being a teacher is a hard job, but it can be fun. Look at your teachers. Are they having fun most days? Are they smiling? Safety for Your child is always first, so watch them... are they attentive? Or are they on their phones? Talking to other teachers with their back to the class? Working with humans you need to expect them to be imperfect, that's ok....but don't tolerate dream crushing attitudes, angry or burned out teachers, and a director you never see. I do not get any of these ^^^^^negative attitudes in the center. I'm happy- my daughter loves going to school here and I Love that I have an open communication with everyone who has contact with my girl. read more

My 13 month old son just started attending Stapleton Knowledge Beginnings. As a first time Mom I am hyper-sensitive about my son and his care. The care providers have been nothing but understanding and kind to me. I am able to visit when I want. When I have come to visit my son has been happy and engaged. As a new mom, I was nervous to let anyone else take care of my little girl but since she has been going to Knowledge Beginnings, she has continued to sleep great, eat well and is always happy when I pick her up. The teachers in the infant room have been wonderful with her and she always has a smile on her face when she sees them. The staff make continuous updates regarding her care throughout the day via their app so I have the peace of mind that she is doing well every day. We started my son at Knowledge Beginnings 9/2015 when he was 3 months and we had a terrible experience. 1. Their isn't consistency with caregivers. You never know who will be in the classroom because all the teachers have different schedules so it makes communication and follow up hard and some of them seem to have little experience or expertise. 2. We had a very poor experience with management. I was very concerned about my son's well being. He didn't get in good naps. He would come home around 4pm and crash for 3 hours. Not normal for him. One day over a 10 hour window he only napped for a total of 45 minutes!! I was furious. When I complained, management didn't do anything, and didn't even apologize. Another day he apparently vomited while he was eating from his bottle. When I asked for more details no one could give me any "because they weren't there during that shift". This might be a good daycare for older children (2+). Just think carefully before taking your infant there. read more

I wouldn't suggest this daycare. We brought our 2 year old here for 2 years. Since new management the place has slowly declined. Parent involvement has been limited since so many families have left the center. Teachers have made several attempts to work with Corporate to report incidents however have to this date not seen satisfactory action. The entire management team will need to be replaced to get this center back on its feet. We weren't willing to wait for that to happen. Please use extreme caution when thinking of sending your child to this center. read more

We have had numerous issues with the Knowledge Beginnings in Stapleton. Our son started attending the center in July 2012 and was with a teacher we really liked. A month later she was let go and our son was moved to classroom that he was really unhappy in, so we had him moved again. Once he was settled in that room, the teacher left and he got a new teacher who I was very unhappy with and who was later let go for leaving a one-year-old unattended outside on the playground. Our son then moved up to the 2-year-old classroom and we were really happy with the teachers and room, but once again, his teacher left because she wasn't being treated fairly at the center. While all of this was going on, 2 directors came and went and one was rumored to be embezzling money. Also, there were many days when the classrooms were way over ratio and my child was really uncomfortable because it was really chaotic. One day it was so bad that I didn't feel comfortable leaving him and took him back home. Shortly after that incident I pulled him out. When I called to have his things put aside, the assistant director was incredibly cold and rude to me. My neighbor who has twin 2-year-olds also toured the center and she told me that the staff was very rude on the tour. As a side note, there used to be a handful of negative reviews on yelp about Knowledge Beginnings, which are no longer here. I'm not sure how they got deleted. read more

I guess since the last post, things must have changed. I started sending my child to the center in August 2011. There have been two directors, but even through the transition, the care and programming at Knowledge Beginnings has been wonderful. My daughter has been in both the 2 year old and now 3 year old classes. The personnel are qualified and more importantly have authentically cared for my child every single day. At our old daycare, my little girl would cry and beg me not to leave her...this has not happen once at KB! Finding a good child care center is one of the most important decisions a parent makes - I know I am blessed to have found this one. read more
