Maggie and Kiddie Up Nannies have been so amazing since I moved to Denver. I have gotten multiple jobs from her services, two long term and several date nights. She has helped guide me with rates, contracts and the Denver nanny world in general. I know if I have a question, I can go to Maggie and she always has an answer. I couldn't recommend a better agency if you're looking for a new family to work with and I know my bosses love how easy it is to find trusted, reliable back up care when needed. read more

Kiddie Up is great, communicative and professional in their dealings with me as a nanny. I have worked with Maggie for several years, and enjoyed many placements she facilitated. Maggie understands the childcare industry, is proactive in assisting both nannies and parents, and always willing to go above and beyond to provide great value and service to both. Maggie has helped many new parents I have worked for understand the pros and cons, as well as industry standards, of employing private in home care, and has always been communicative with me and potential families about finding an awesome fit. She has also helped me understand different families' needs as well as consistently offered ongoing training and support. She is clear and prompt in her communication. When I look for a new position, I always visit Kiddie Up first because I trust Maggie to advocate both for me and the parents I may work for. She loves kids and it shows! read more

Not a good experience. Never ended up with a nanny. Kiddie Up Nannies did not provide the services that they promised.

Maggie at Kiddie Up was fantastic. As a new mom and not sure where to start she made the process easy and efficient. She asked questions I never would have thought of when looking for a nanny. We love our nanny and am so thankful for her service! read more

I was onboarded as a nanny for months with Kiddie up. I did a few things here and there, but recently I was hired for a one time caregiving event. I was informed after being hired for the job that I would be required to have a 30 minute unpaid phone call with the event organizer before the event. I told Maggie I was uninterested in unpaid work. She never responded to my email, just removed me from Kiddie Up all together. Maggie's unprofessionalism is frustrating and Kiddie Up wasted much of my time. Jane at Colorado Nanny is the way to go! read more

AVOID!!!!! Had SEVERAL bad experiences with Kiddie Up Nannies. First, paid our placement fee and had a full time nanny start. She was not a good "personality fit", which resulted in her needing to be terminated very quickly. Maggie did work hard to find us a temporary replacement while we searched for another full time replacement. This process took a long time as Kiddie Up had only a handful of candidates. Eventually Maggie stated that she'd need to charge us a daily fee for the temp even though she had already charged us the full placement fee, and wasn't able to find us a replacement (be sure to read the fine print in your contract with Kiddie Up). During this time Maggie also sent us an email that she had to terminate her relationship with our temp nanny for other issues that had come up (another low quality Kiddie Up placement) Eventually we got another full time nanny who seemed great, until she missed day after day, started to lie to us, and then just didn't show up (Instagram showed she was partying with some boy on a weekday out in Kansas, while she told us she had been in a serious car accident). Needless to say another Kiddie Up placement down the tubes in less than 6 weeks.... At this point Maggie said she would have to charge us again for another replacement (again, read the fine print in your Kiddie Up contract), and refused to refund any portion of our placement fee regardless of the continued poor quality of placements. Needless to say we are no longer using Kiddie Up. Maggie is a very nice woman who is tries hard....but at the end of the day, if you run a nanny service and charge a fee, you need to be evaluated on the quality of your nannies, and you ability to screen them. On those two points alone, I can't suggest anyone use Kiddie Up Nannies. read more

My husband and I were in dire straits, looking for quality, reliable childcare while we waited for a spot to open up for our toddler in our daycare of choice. I was referred to Kiddie Up Nannies by a friend and decided to use them temporarily. We ended up needing to use them for about 4 months before we were able to get our son into daycare and we had a phenomenal experience. Maggie was incredibly responsive (even on nights and weekends) and always set us up with nannies that aligned with our values, priorities and price point. I have no complaints and will continue to utilize their services if the need arises again in the future. read more

I owe my sanity and my career to Maggie at Kiddie Up Nannies and the amazing nanny we found through her! After deciding to start a nanny share with another family, we initially thought that we could save ourselves some money and hire a nanny ourselves by advertising for the position on websites like Care.com and Facebook. However, this proved extremely time-consuming, yielded few qualified applicants, and resulted in someone we tried to hire backing out last minute, leaving us with just two weeks before our current childcare ended... with no nanny, no additional qualified applicants, and no time or energy left for the search (since it was a busy time for me at work). At that point, we contracted with Kiddie Up to help us find a nanny for our nanny share. Just one day after signing the contract, Maggie set up a conference call with me and the other mom and posted the position posted right away. Within four days of signing the contract, Maggie sent us four qualified applicants and we started interviews right away. During and after our nanny search, Maggie was extremely communicative via email, always answering my questions within 24 hours but usually much faster. The nannies who applied to our position through Kiddie Up were of a MUCH higher caliber than any we found on our own. All of them had already passed a background check, completed an interview with Maggie, and had their references checked before we received their applications. I feel extremely thankful that we found our amazing and experienced nanny among those applicants. She has been working for us for four weeks now and has far exceeded our expectations in every single way! Without Maggie and Kiddie Up, we never would have found her. Maggie also helped us with contract negotiations and set us up with a wonderful, experienced temporary nanny who worked for just my family during the two weeks before our permanent nanny could start. If you want to hire a professional nanny, I highly recommend contracting with Maggie and Kiddie Up Nannies. Their services are well worth the cost and much more reasonable than other agencies. The negative reviews are the exact opposite of my experience with Maggie and Kiddie Up. If in doubt, I suggest you email Maggie yourself to see what kind of response you receive. I trust that you will find her to be professional and communicative in every way. read more

Truly awful experience. My husband and I contacted Ms. Broderick on May 10, 2019 to help us find a temporary nanny to begin June 24, 2019 since our full-time nanny had to leave the country due to immigration issues. At the recommendation of Ms. Broderick, we interviewed Angelika S. for the temporary position on May 18, 2019. On the same day, we informed Ms. Broderick that we would like to hire Angelika, and she suggested we pay the daily temporary nanny fees up front. On May 24, we paid $400 in temporary nanny fees specifically for services to be provided by Angelika. While we were out of town and less than two weeks before Angelika was to start with us, Maggie informed us that Angelika was no longer available but that she had two candidates for us to interview, Mary and Melonie. We interviewed both candidates via telephone and Skype while out of town on June 11 and 13. The candidates that Ms. Broderick provided were entirely unsuitable. Mary was entirely unqualified as she had absolutely NO full-time nanny experience. I cannot imagine any parent feeling comfortable leaving their one-year old child alone all day with someone with no full-time childcare experience. Shortly after we interviewed Melonie, we were told she was no longer available. As Ms. Broderick had no other suitable prospects for us and less than one week for us to find experienced and reliable childcare for our young daughter, we informed Ms. Broderick that we would find childcare through an alternate route and that we would like a refund of our temporary nanny fees as services were not provided as agreed upon. Ms. Broderick refused to refund our money. We ended up getting our money back only after disputing the charge through our credit company. Kiddie Up Nannies did not provide the services that they promised. They offered us one candidate whose lack of commitment and professionalism left us in a terrible bind scrambling for childcare at the last minute, one candidate that was not available, and one candidate who might as well have been plucked randomly off the street as she had absolutely zero experience as a nanny. I certainly DO NOT recommend this service to anyone. read more

I was a little skeptical at first since Kiddie Up Nannies was coming in LESS THAN HALF of other nanny services, but after contacting Maggie, I was impressed by the speed and professionalism that they were able to turn around a search for me. We had been interviewing for nannies, but were on a tight time frame and the pickings were slim. Within less than 24 hours, Maggie returned results from three woman who had excellent profiles. (Maggie pre-interviews, background checks and reference checks nannies before sending to a client.) She also did a quick (again, less than 24 hours) background check, driving record, etc. for the nanny we finally hired. Lastly, she has a great guarantee--if our nanny doesn't work out, she'll do the search again to find the replacement. read more

I never leave reviews, but this warranted one because I've been so impressed. The owner, Maggie, is a pleasure to work with. She's responsive, quick to place a sitter and is conscious of things that matter to mom's (i.e., not sending a temp who is recovering from a cold, etc). I use Kiddie Up exclusively for temp sitters (daytime and date nights) -- I've probably had 10 different women over time -- and I've loved each of them. They're responsible, experienced, timely and really seem to enjoy kids. Takes all of the guesswork out for me... Couldn't recommend more. read more

Kiddie up did a great job placing us with a nanny! We had a very complicated situation where we did a nanny share with a friend couple of ours. To add to the complication we have twins and only needed care 3 days/week whereas our friends child needed 4 days/week. Maggie was extremely patient and professional throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Kiddie up! read more

Our experience with Kiddie Up Nannies was excellent. This was our first time looking for a nanny after several years of daycare. Maggie helped guide us through the process and connected us with multiple qualified, pre-screened candidates. read more

Impossible to get ahold of. I had a few questions about the temp contract and tried for DAYS to get a phone call returned. I texted, left voicemail, replied to email and got ONE voicemail at 5pm on a day where I myself was busy. Maybe it's not meant to be because after reading some of the reviews here - sounds like a fortune in fees for unqualified nannies! read more

I had such a great experience with Kiddie Up Nannies! I was a nanny looking for a family to nanny for. I applied to Kiddie Up Nannies and Maggie, the owner, was very quick to respond and set up an interview. Being in the childcare field for many years, I know first hand how hard it is to find qualified caregivers. Maggie's interview questions seemed very well thought out and specific to a Nanny position. She quickly got the process going and kept consistent communication with me through out the interviews I had and sent new positions as they came in. I have happily found a family that I will start with through Kiddie Up Nannies! Kiddie up Nannies made this process smooth and professional for me. I definitely recommend Kiddie Up Nannies services!! read more

Maggie is absolutely wonderful. She does a great job at hearing both nanny and families' needs. She does such quality work on both ends and has always been available to me to discuss any concerns or needs. She is thorough, thoughtful and understanding. She is a genuine person who truly cares which makes a huge difference between nanny services. Kiddie Up Nannies is a great company! Thank You, Maggie!! read more

Maggie is terrific! My husband and I asked her for help with a difficult task: finding a nanny who could work two particular days of the week for particular hours each day. Other agencies told us they couldn't accommodate our peculiar request, but Maggie was optimistic she could find us excellent candidates. And she delivered! She specializes in part-time positions, and she sent us half a dozen wonderful nannies over the course of a few weeks. We were thrilled! Maggie is professional, responsive, and friendly--a genuine pleasure to work with! She is also much more flexible than other agencies and charges less than half the standard fees. We recommend her wholeheartedly! read more

We have twin infant girls and needed a nanny pretty quickly. We contacted Maggie and she was super fast with sitting down with us for 1 hour to interview us about our needs and requirements. She totally understood our time frame, budget, and needs with 2 babies. Within a few days she had a list of a few people that she thought would meet our needs. She put 1 in the mix that did not directly meet some of our 'wants' in a Nanny but but she thought it would be a good fit. From the moment this person came into the house we knew she was the one. She was down on the ground playing with the girls and showed so much love for our babies. Our nanny has been with us for just over 2 months and we couldn't be happier. She is definitely part of our family and we never would have met her had Maggie not realized how great of a fit it would be. Maggie was fast, prompt, accurate and did all of the back ground checks and pre-interviews. She helped us with putting together a contract and we knew that if something didn't work out, we had her guarantee as insurance. Maggie was fantastic and we would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of child care. read more

I am a nanny who has been looking for work since December 2013. I tried multiple nanny websites like care.com, nannies4hire, etc. I had no luck. I heard about Kiddie Up Nannies and decided to apply. Wiithin ONE week of applying, this agency found me the perfect family! The owner, Maggie, is absolutely amazing. She is so resourceful and helped me with every step of the way. She responded to all emails, calls and texts within the hour, and she was just a pleasure to work with. She truly understands what it is like trying to find work, and how important it is to find the perfect family. I could not be any happier with my experience with Maggie and Kiddie Up Nannies. Kiddie Up Nannies and Maggie were exactly what we needed - thorough, responsive, and professional. When I called Maggie we were in a bind because several nannies we found through Care.com had fallen through. Within days she had multiple quality nannies for us to interview in person. We hesitated to use a nanny service because we thought we could do it ourselves. The nannies we interviewed through Kiddie Up were professional and a serious about finding a great position as we were about finding a great nanny. More than anything, I know the nanny we hired is committed to our family and taking great care of our child. Maggie really helped us with the negotiation. In the end, the nanny and our family were very happy with the outcome. For the quality of nanny we hired and the help that Maggie provided negotiating, her service was well worth it. I would definitely recommend Maggie and Kiddie Up. If we are searching for another nanny in the future, I would use Kiddie Up. read more

We have been extremely happy with Kiddie Up Nannies. Our son is in daycare, but we will occasionally need back up sitters for sick days, daycare closures, or date nights. Maggie responds promptly and always follows up on our experience. They have been a real lifesaver for two working parents who don't have a great back up plan! The temps have been wonderful and easy to work with too! read more

Returning to work after being a stay at home mom for so long was a tough decision. I knew I needed to integrate a nanny that would keep that transition smooth, connect well with my family, and fill the void while I was at work. After unsuccessfully attempting that search on my own, I reached out to Kiddie Up Nannies. I am so glad I did! Maggie took the headache out of such a daunting and emotional task. The process was smooth, efficient, and Maggie's communication was on point. And the most important part was that we found a nanny who had become like family now! Absolutely wonderful experience. Kiddie Up Nannies was exactly what I needed when I was offered a job and needed to find an amazing nanny fast. I had been at home with my daughter (first time parent) for 6 months and was incredibly nervous to go back to work a new, very demanding job. Maggie helped put me at ease! She made the process so easy and worked closely with us to understand our needs, our family, and make it all happen quickly. She provided us amazing, incredibly qualified candidates, scheduled the interviews, and provided all the background info we needed. We had a tough time deciding who to hire because the candidates were all so great! We are so happy with the nanny we did choose and I am so impressed with the process. Maggie makes it easy to do, is helpful and gave us great advice when we asked for it, and helped make the transition so easy. Maggie is great with communication and is always responsive and helpful.
