They are highly ethical and treat both their patients and staff with the utmost respect. I have been examined by Dr. Wood for floaters. I am developing a cataract (fortunately does not need surgery) but when the time comes I would travel to Arlingon Heights from Chicago. They have the most up to date technology including laser cataract surgery.

Both of them were there to greet me when I arrived and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Dr. Sabo's exam was so thorough and I didn't feel rushed through my exam. She made sure to get my prescription right and I loved the way she explained what was going on to me. The technology they have is also very modern and up to date. At other places I've been to the technology seemed a little out dated but here everything is digital. It is such a nicely put together optical center with a great doctor and optical technician. I am currently recommending anyone and everyone I know to head over there. I have never felt so confident, comfortable and well taken care at any other optometrist. Thank you so much Dr. Sabo and Julie!

Not only did they work so hard to get my glasses done in time they went out of their way to make it right. It was my first time and I will definitely be back. I have a difficult time finding the right fit and look in glasses. I'm sure I would tire anyone out looking but not Matthew! He was amazing! The time he spent with me was over the top! And Harry found a spec in my new lens unable to see by a human eye and wanted to make it right so he had new lenses made. The honesty this man provided was overwhelming! I am in good hands with this place! Thank you Harry and Matthew!

After they took my cards for my eye exam and contact lens fitting I had a very pleasant experience in the office with the ophthalmologist. Upon leaving they charged me $110. Deducting $40 for "insurance". After speaking with VSP I was informed that they're allowed to say they take VSP, however, what they'll never tell you is that they're out of network. Not only did they charge me they also very quickly sought reimbursement from VSP and submitted a claim. Their paperwork shows $24 for screening and photos and $76 for CL exam and another $50 for complete eye exam. I'm now battling VSP to get reimbursed. Unless you want to spend time and significant efforts fighting between Visibly Better, VSP and Costco then beware of this dishonest place.

I really like Dr. Bendikas!…read more My whole visual field exam was done in one visit, even though they did not write the type of appointment down, due to privacy concerns. Everything went very smoothly. One thing about this doctor I like is that he will give you his honest opinion. I guess it's easy for me to say that as I passed the exam with flying colors, but I think I would prefer that anyway. He gave me some really good advice the first time I came in to see him and I appreciated it. It saved me both money and insurance hassles. My father also sees Dr. Bendikas, and my mother used to see him too. Unfortunately, she has a complicated vision issue and he felt she needed a specialized care. He recommended someone else and he turned out to be the best specialist in the Chicagoland area. I can honestly say I think Dr. Bendikas is not only a good doctor, but a doctor that can be trusted to give good advice.
