Kali was responsive, punctual, professional, and explained in detail what he had found, and what it meant. We have a pool, and old lighting throughout our yard, so he had his work cut out for him. He also answered all of our questions, and marked some additional electrical in the front yard we had forgotten to mention when we originally called. If we need to dig again, Advanced Underground Utility Locating is going to be our first call.

The local guy, Micah, came out and successfully located thousands of feet of electrical lines. He was on time and worked quickly. I always have a lot of questions for contractors that I engage and he was happy to answer them all. He can talk and work at the same time; a quality I highly value. He marked the electrical lines in paint and even gave me a stack of utility flags so I wouldn't lose the marks in the snow that wouldn't be far off. Much appreciated. As of this review, Advanced Underground Utility Locating does have an extremely cheesy website, but don't let that cement your impression of the work performed. Micah did a great job in accurately locating every last line and it was hundreds less than I thought it would cost. I highly recommended the company for locating utilities underground.

When Cascade Natural Gas came out to turn our service on, they missed lighting the pilot in one of…read moreour fireplaces. When I called, they said they only had one fireplace in the profile for our house, which was incorrect. But since they'd been out to set up service already, they wouldn't return and light the one missed pilot. They told me that was their policy. So I called someone else, paid for a service call, and got the pilot lit. It would have been so easy for them to send someone out for 2 minutes to light the pilot, and turn a bad situation into a great service experience. Big miss.

This "utility" is a joke! I got a notice of water disconnect after 1 day past the "due date". IF…read morethey had bothered to call me, I would have told them I paid the bill the day I received it and my bank shows it cleared! I have left messages without anyone bothering to return my calls. I've had service with them for 18 years and no late payments...and this is the treatment I get from them for a perceived missed payment of a whopping $37 !!! The customer service is either horrible or non existent. Next stop is phone call to the Oregon Public Utility Commission.
