I understand this was explained to customers ahead of time, however I was not informed about the $500 daily ATM limit or $2,500 daily transaction limit being imposed. This was a huge inconvenience when the banks were closed and no one was available to speak to for help. To top it off, digital banking was supposed to be back online today. I still have no access to my account via the website or app. I'm going to close my account do business elsewhere. What a joke.

I…read moretried to get another one recently and was turned down because I cosigned for a $5000 loanfor a friend that failed to pay all but $1000 and I ended up paying it off, because of that situation they turned me down for the loan after being with commerce for 45 years, I even showed them that I had paid reciept for the loan, they just don't care ,wow. I am now seeking another bank, any recommendation's? I need a caring bank, or as Commerce was not. I recently sold my home ,which I owe nothing on and should realize a quite a bit of cash. Just a a side note, I do qualify for a VA Loan, so thats my situation I wouldn't recommend the Festus, Commerce bank or the home equity department because they just don't care, my FICO score is 747, which says lenders use this score, well they really don't use this they use other scores and take in nothing about the customer ,when I spoke with the crediting agencies they told me I had the highest credit rating that they had seen ,but the one agencies got me. I called the customer service to find out if they can check to see why. She said that interest was paid the day I close the account but US bank reverse the pay out because it wasn't full term so advise to go back to the branch and talk to the manager. I did just that next day to talk to Jeremy. He was trying to find out what happened and talked to his co-workers. He apologized and he said he needs to call back office to resolve the issue then a guy with an this arrogant attitude came and said there is nothing you can do blah, blah, blah so rude and discouraging. I am hosting 2 Ukrainian war refugees and the older one needed an American bank account because she's applied for authorization to work. We rolled in here thinking this was a simple ask - wrong. It's a simple ask...IF you have a SSN. Without an SSN it becomes a much more difficult (read pita) task for the bank. Not only did the folks at this branch handle it with grace, a couple of them took such an interest in her and her progress that we've been in several times to see them and ask questions. Not even really banking questions either - one of the ladies is also an immigrant and was willing to share her journey with us; it has been hugely helpful because many of the processes are the same. Additionally, the manager made the point of telling me that their branches are dog-friendly. As a service dog handler, I always like to know where I'm likely to encounter pet dogs and where my dog can be "off-duty." Different dog handlers do things differently, but I generally don't cape my dog in pet-friendly places. I find that it's easier to just blend and she knows her job. Would I recommend? Yes Would I return? One banker was already busy helping a customer with a CD. The teller offered to help start getting my information in the computer since I would be a new customer, but he was busy at the drive up window and teller window. I found a place to sit and was going to wait but got a little frustrated and left.

NO, they didn't call because when I asked what number did they call, she wasn't even able to tell me the phone number they called.
