After being passed between multiple attorneys over several months, my loved one still does not know the specific charges against him, has not seen the discovery, and the only defense "strategy" discussed was to wait and see what plea deal might be offered. The only substantive action taken during this time was a competency evaluation requested by counsel. Seven days before what would have been his fourth or fifth court setting, the firm withdrew from representation. No refund, partial or otherwise, was offered. We are now back at square one. Although, I had years of evidence to provide to the court, Marshall's poor decision-making led my family down a nightmarish path. When I became so fearful for my daughter's safety that I asked him to non-suit the case, he refused. Then, he strolled into final hearing with very little preparation, despite me begging for it, and erased any progress we had made. His poor and reckless decisions and final positions were not at all what I wanted, and angered the judge who made me and my young child pay the price. We will forever be paying for Marshall's poor judgment and poor planning. My family will never be the same.
