    So pretty.
    Steph C.

Excellent with acrylic nails. The coffin nails I got with a medium/long length was $27 not including tip. It was exactly what I wanted , was a bit worried with the other reviews but i left super happy with this set and I will definitely be coming back. this will be my new go to place.

I get my nails done every other week, sometimes every week if I'm a bad girl and scratch (mess) them up. Or maybe I'm good and need to be pampered. ;) Although I rotate through my two favorite nail shops, Ben is my favorite nail guy at Center Nails. He knows me. I'm the gel sparkle tip, square round and a little narrow. That means nothing to most people, but to me - it means getting your nails done right. Plus it's inexpensive, you can afford the $20 Mani Pedi. Go ahead and spoil yourself. If you must. I get fancy, glitter and sparkletastic even but never ever painted my nails black before. I didn't think I'd like them, but they are pretty hawt. http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=XBwqlGdnLjCdSAYrEjIcnA&userid=Lu8y2ayxVlAzuJEVfVcH4w

I went to Ben until i left SF this July. I have only ever found one other place that does as natural and durable a job and they are in Beverly Hills. Tip this man!! That said. This salon is for ACRYLICS not natural nails. Good pedicures too.

Got my nails done here today for $35 and I love the way they turned Out. Acrylics start at $20, but 35 is reasonable considering that I got 2 holographic nails In addition to the other long red acrylic nails. He used gel on my nails as well (without me asking for it!) which is really convenient because it made the nails dry fast and I was in and out in no time.

Acrylic overlay, so neat and natural looking

I love them. Ive been going to center nails for yearrsss and they never let me down..

    Gel manicure. Great as usual.

Really happy with my mani and pedi. So glad they are open now, with safety protocols for pandemic. Thank you!!

Best gel manicure I have ever received. Thank you so much. Employees were very attentive to every detail.

See that dot under the ass? That's what I like to call a "Full Service Massage."

The massage chairs have a setting that thumps your nether regions. Slide a little forward: anal awakening. Slide a little back: perineum pulsations Slide even further back: vulvar vibrations. ...Oh yeah and something about nail polish.

Great customer service! Excellent prices for the quality of nails! Did I mention they aren't pushy like any other nail shop! Would definitely recommend and make my go to location.

Notice the red under my daughter's pinky, raw skin..and her nails were cut too short..not a nice mani..boo..2 stars

Ok so I can't decide where to take my niece and daughter for my niece's birthday treat..she wanted Sandy's but they had pretty bad reviews...well I'm not happy with my pick either. I brought them for a full acrylic set for my niece and a mani for my daughter... Well for starters the guy glued all the nails on he noticed the index nail was crooked and took off the nail, then he glued on the second nail and it was crooked and he pulled at it hurting my niece and then realizing he forgot to put acetone on it. The price for my niece was $16 and in the end they charged me $23 for her full set after changing the price on me twice... My daughter's mani was a joke...I do better than that...the edges weren't polished in, had air bubbles and her nails were crooked even after the lady used a file after using the almost broken nail clipper.. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK!!! Next time I'll just take them to my regular spot in Antioch

    Full set

one of the best nail salons in 24th st. I was a bit skeptical at first but my first set was real nice I had to come back. They don't over charge or make you wait for a long time. Ask for ben he knows what he is doing & will give you what you want. For a long set I usually pay $65. I also get my eyebrows done here and I love itt. Def recommend to go here.

    Ben is the best!!

Center Nail has been in my regular rotation of nail shops for about two years now. I was almost the point of "I need a mani/pedi before my digits fall off", so I headed down to Center Nail, roomie in tow. One again, they offered great service and skillful technicians. My roommate, who had his first pedicure, replied after he was finished he said, "Wow, my feet feel like silk!" Another satisfied customer :) Center Nail is not your uptight nail salon, but it is also not a trashy place to be getting waxed, painted, and otherwise beautified at. They offer a good mix of great prices and welcoming atmosphere (and some really funny pictures of cats on the walls if you look close enough!).

My acrylics always lift around the edges just a few days after full set/fill in. Did not last. I think that they use cheap material.

Ask the Community - Center Nails

    Do they have glitter powder?

    No. I didn't see any.

Does anyone know the prices for mani? Pedi? Fullset? Both mani/pedi? I'm looking for a new shop that isn't pricey and this one caught my eye. Thank you so much in advance

There is no price list in there establishment. You would need to call and ask or swing by and ask. Usually, a reg pedi is around $35. I had a Gel lacquer fill-in nail service and they charged me $35. They're favorite numbers are $35, $40, and $45.

I can bring in a vague idea or inspo pic and she somehow always executes it exactly how I imagined... if not better. Her skill set is super versatile, too, so whether I'm going simple or more detailed, chrome, 3D, fine lines, French tips... she can do it all and it always looks clean and intentional. She's also really efficient in the best way. Nothing ever feels rushed, but she works with a level of ease and confidence that makes the whole process feel seamless. And the durability is kind of unreal. I'm hard on my hands for my job and I've never had lifting, chipping, or breaks-- ever. That alone is rare, especially with this level of design. It's this mix of creativity and technical precision that's so hard to find, and why I keep coming back. So grateful to have found this spot... do yourself a favor, stop scrolling and BOOK IT!

This was the…read moresecond time that I visited Spectrum - the first was to get a gel-x set and pedicure with a friend, which was fine. This time, however, all I wanted was a builder gel fill but I left with two cut fingers and pure disappointment. I could tell that the woman doing my nails was shaving aggressively, but I figured she wanted to be quick & efficient. I didn't feel the cuts when they happened, otherwise I definitely would've said something about the pain. However, later in the process, I heard her say "oh" and I noticed that my left ring finger was ACTIVELY bleeding. Most frustratingly, she did not say sorry OR address the blood, rather, just started cleaning it like nothing happened. Then I looked at my right ring finger and saw cut skin there as well. I got light headed but couldn't muster up the courage to object. I shouldn't have to. The photos do not do it justice because as I mentioned, my left ring finger was BLEEDING down the nail. To make things worse, this nail technician was extremely rude and short. When I asked her if my left pinky nail could be shortened to match the length of my right pinky, she looked at it and didn't say a word. It wasn't until all the paint was finished that I then asked her again "can we please make this length match"? And she finally said she was going to, as if my question was an imposition. The audacity. At the end of the appointment, I still tipped (less than I normally do), regretfully-so. When I asked her if her name was one of the displayed venmo cards she said "no". Unfortunately, I do not have her name but she was on the younger side with glasses. I would not recommend unless you want to feel rushed, ignored, and even injured. I will not be going back to this salon.

It used to feel more upscale like a luxury salon they offered you a quality tea or a glass of wine or even water or whatever (which seems on par for the high price point) and the decor felt more upscale. Now it has kind of janky cheap IKEA fake plant vibes now and the salon really reeks and there is not even so much as a water cooler. I always get a headache coming out of there now, where as I used to love it when it felt so airy and breezy with the doors open and the city view ahead. I asked for the door to stay open recently and got a subtle eye roll because one of the nail technicians was cold. Come on, this is SF not Chicago in the dead of winter where you need to close the doors. No one wants cancer breathing all those chemicals! There is nowhere comfortable to sit if you are getting a manicure and no waiting area. I got a $5 dazzle dry extra charge on my last bill that no one warned me about until after. Hmmm. And having to pay the tip separately digitally is not a great look for a salon with luxury level prices. They need to streamline their process. There is a big sign that says no trying on nail polish but I guess if you're friends with Charlene you can break those rules - as I saw two women completely ignore the rules and start painting their own nails at the polish rack while chatting her up. lol. If you're not a regular there, you are treated politely (at least no one is openly talking about you in another language) but if you're a regular, you get this loud "hey girllll" type of greeting when you walk through the door which then makes everyone else feel a little weird. I could not relax the last time I was there because the music was so loud and I was stuck listening to an entire conversation of Charlene giving 'therapy' like platitudes to some bored whiny SF housewife - I felt like I was getting dumber by the minute listening to this and I should have brought my headphones or ear plugs for some peace and quiet. If the prices weren't so expensive then none of this would be an issue. When I am paying $60 for a manicure, I expect a good massage and the extras that come with that price point. LPNS is overall trying to be friendly and give quality work so that is why I give it 3 stars instead of less. But, truthfully, I miss the way it used to be and am looking for a similar place on this side of SF - a luxury comfortable nail salon. Someone message me if you know of a luxury nail salon where everyone is treated the same when they walk through the door!

The technician clipped my cuticle too far, causing bleeding, and was very rough throughout the service -- especially while removing the builder gel and filing my nails. She also skipped steps that Andrew had previously done, which affected the overall quality. I clearly asked for a gel builder fill and to keep my length, but she began filing my nails down anyway. I had to repeat myself multiple times and eventually had to switch to Gel-X just to regain the length that was removed. There also seemed to be a language barrier. However, instead of asking a coworker for clarification, she continued with what she thought I said rather than confirming my request. I ultimately had to stop and ask another staff member walking by to help translate. Additionally, pricing was not transparent. The service is listed online as $70 for a gel builder fill, but I was charged $85. When I asked about it, I was told I had already been given a discount, which was confusing and not explained. This technician needs more professionalism and should be spoken to regarding both technique and customer care. Overall, this experience felt rushed and careless, which was very disappointing given how great my first visit was.
