I had a great appointment for a fill with a lovely nail tech. She was thorough and efficient. My only regret is not getting her name so she could get full credit for this review. These are not gel nails. They are my natural nails. This manicure is still not chipped on Thursday. I got the manicure on Saturday. My daughter got a cute polka dot mani that was equally long lasting. This place is clean, professional, and the employees are kind. 10/10! read more

I've been going to Plush Nails for several months now, and they are absolutely great! I always get a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. The gel manicure easily lasts over three weeks without any chipping at all. They do amazing work every single time--plus, their white poodle who is always there is just too cute. read more

After going to this place a few times with a relatively good experience, the last time unfortunately it was clear they were rushing through the appointment. Both my friend and I had chips in our gel manicures after 2 days. I really wanted to like this local spot but won't be coming back. read more

I've been here a couple of times in the past and have always loved both my mani/pedi. I am so conflicted about my experience but I feel like it's necessary to share so there's feedback taken. Gel manicure: 5/5 ! The manicurist had great attention to detail, she cut my cuticles so well and I didn't even feel anything. Love the polish and end result. Regular Pedicure: 1/5. A drastic contrast to my manicure experience. It was sadly not an enjoyable experience. The man was quite rough and it was painful. When he put lotion on, it started to sting. I have some visible red marks. I know it was a regular pedicure but barely after an hour of getting them, they started to chip and the polish didn't even stay on right. Super disappointed As of today, I would only come back for manicures. A real bummer. read more

Horrible Customer Service!!!! I had actually done my nails here once and tried to get another appointment. After two attempts of not getting one, I thought I would call a few days in advance so I could get in. So I decided to call on a Wednesday for an appointment on Sunday afternoon. I asked for gel x or dip, whatever they had time for. They said they could do gel-x at 1pm on Sunday and that I would receive a venmo from them for a deposit. I thought that was fine since they are by appointment only and a way they could secure the more expensive appointments. Smart business move. Well, I never received a venmo, but made it to my appointment and brought cash so it would be an easier transaction and figured they would probably prefer that. I show up at 1pm on Sunday and they looked confused and just said "noooo you don't have an appointment. Did you call?" I told them that I called Tuesday or Wednesday...couldn't actually remember in the moment. One of the women snickered and said oh we don't open Tuesday so you didn't call us. And I knew for a fact that I did. I ignored the ride way she was treating me and asked if they had any time because I wanted to get them done before an important work event They pretended to shuffle the pages of their book and just said "oh nooo, we're so busy" and proceeded with their clients and just looked at me dumbfounded. Well, after searching my call log...I did make an outgoing call to them on Wednesday. I wasted my time going here and had to find a place that was open on Sunday that would have time to fit me in. Luckily I did find one across town and they did a fantastic job. I've received so many compliments so far. I definitely don't appreciate their lack of customer service and the rude and condescending tone they had with me. You're in the service industry ladies, please act like it! read more

I took my daughter for a special manicure treat. I showed a picture of what she wanted (basically the yelp symbol in a contrasting color) and we were told yes. Once the base coat was dry and it was time for the polish she told us she couldn't do it. Totally OK to not do basic nail art, but you shouldn't say that you can do something that you can't. Since we were already part way in I didn't feel like we could leave. read more

The manicurist was kind of rude. She was very abrupt in how she handled my questions & almost snapped at every question I asked. In addition, her work was very mediocre & I just spent 30 minutes at home filing my nails from the sides because she made them look so wide. The pedicure was good! Overall - the service was not good. Quality of work was mediocre and overall vibe was uncomfortable because the entire time they were speaking their language non stop! I'm not against businesses using their native language, but these ladies were non stop talking. read more

I hardly ever visit nail salons, but after a horrendous day at work, I needed to treat myself. I called to see if they would take a walk in. They don't, but said I could call before I wanted to come to see if they were busy. I asked if I could come in 10 min for a gel manicure and regular pedicure, and they said they could accommodate. 10 min later, I'm in a chair choosing my colors. Yay! I don't have much to compare, but I am happy with the quality of service due to the following: 1. Extensive color selection, which was totally overwhelming, and my nail tech helped narrow down colors when I asked for a neutral color. 2. So many layers of polish. Honestly wasn't sure if that was normal or not, but I was told my lighter color choice needed 4 layers of polish. Worth it because the color is even and solid. 3. I was not aware that my nails could be shaped like this. Like I'm pretty sure I've never seen my nails like this, and they are adorable! 4. Massages were nice, and ended way too early. Hot stones on the legs were much appreciated. 5. Cute dog roaming around. Enough said. Really appreciated being able to come on short notice. Will need to remember to make an appointment next time. read more

I went in for a mani/pedi a month ago. The mani was fine but the man who did my pedicure was very rough (didn't even give my feet time to soak) and injured my nail bed on my big toe as he was cleaning my cuticles. I told him that at the time and asked him to disinfect the injured area. He brushed me off and said it will be fine. During the days after, I tended to my toe daily with ointment, but within a week it became infected anyway. It's still infected a month later (after two rounds of prescription oral and topical antibiotics), and now requires additional medical care. While I don't blame the business for how badly this has turned out, I just want to alert people to avoid the male nail technician. (Other reviewers have also noted similar experiences with him as well) read more

My friend and I were in the area and found this place randomly on Yelp. We called to see if they had openings for two mani-pedis, and surprisingly they did! We rushed over and were immediately pampered by the staff. Vi did an amazing job on my nails! She was gentle and created the perfect bachelorette nails based on my inspo picture. Definitely in love with them and cannot wait for future visits! I suggest making a reservation though, as we were in there, they had multiple walk ins that had to be told to come back at a later time. read more

I've been here a few times and was hoping it would be my new local nail salon. However, the last 2 times they rushed and did not do a good mani/pedi. This last time they butchered my cuticles-3 fingers on one hand are still bleeding/red/getting hangnails-3 days later! I've been coming here for around a year and I've always been pleased with the result of my nails AND the service. Everyone's so sweet. I mostly go to Vi for a gel set with design, and the pricing is super reasonable. All the other employees there are great too! It's around $30 for a pedi and $40-$55 for a gel set (depending on if you're getting a design). I believe they offer a cash discount too! One last thing! They don't really take walk-ins! I was not impressed with the overall results of my gel manicure at this place and based on the reviews I expected much better. It's a very cute, small, neighborhood place. They have a very large selection of polish, gel, and dip colors. There are five spa chairs and two manicure stations. One thing I noticed, it was freezing in there. No way would I want to do a pedi there during this cold time, they need to get some heaters in the place. I went in for a gel manicure. Right away noticed the technique was not great. She didn't soak my cuticles and just went right to cutting them after applying the cuticle softener, so she ended up doing this routine twice because the cuticles were not softening, and even after that I could see some could use more cleanup. One of my cuticles ended up bleeding, which happens. But instead of stopping the bleeding, she just wiped it and went straight to applying the gel. So now, the polish and cuticle are not quite even and will probably peal. I asked to have my nails slightly shorter but same shape, now they are more oval than almond. She did a horrible job on filing them, and after the nails were done they were all snagging on clothes, so I had to ask her to fix it, which after the fact is painful and also removes the polish. I felt like the application was very thick, 3 coats of polish and topcoat were applied twice, which I'm not a fan of, it just looks very thick. The tips were also not sealed which helps them last longer and be smooth. The massage at the end lasted about a minute and it was only my hands, not my arms, another disappointment. In the end, one of the other technicians was filing and trying to smooth things out but at that point, it's a bit hard to do. I was watching her work on the person next to me and she was much better. I don't go to specific people in a nail place, it's not like a hair salon, I just come to the shop and want everyone to be equally good at their job. For a $40 manicure and $10 tip it just felt I didn't get the perfect nails I expected. read more

Always looking for a good nail spot in the city and this one is my new favorite! I wanted dip powder nails and they have a whole ring of colors to choose from. Shoutout to the lady that does all of the dip powder nails because she does an amazing job! My mom got a gel mani (five rings of colors to choose from) and the lady that did her nails also did a really great job cleaning the cuticles and painting clean lines. Inside, there are four spa chairs and one table for dip powder/mani service. We were able to call the day of and make an appointment for 5PM on a Thursday, but definitely make an appointment prior because it was busy when we arrived. Service is friendly and attentive, prices are reasonable, and overall a great experience here! Also, if you check in, you receive 10% off any service!
