5 big stars for Centennial Park. Best view of the San Diego skyline. Being a park in Coronado; it's naturally a very peaceful and tranquil place.

Centennial Park is located in Coronado Island in San Diego, CA. What a BEAUTY!!! My manfriend and I went to Coronado Island in mid-April for some dessert! Gelato Paradiso - to be exact! (And brunch too... but you know, dessert is the most important "meal" of the day, HAHAHAHA!!) After brunch and dessert, we were looking for a place to walk around. "GET OUR STEPS IN" on the FitBit - so we ended up at Centennial Park. Fun walk around the island to sightsee and be able to see the San Diego Skyline. So glad to be living so closely to enjoy these treasures. More Info: https://coronadovisitorcenter.com/listings/centennial-park/ ENJOY!!

This is such a nice park with stunning views of San Diego. I came on a Saturday night and spent so much time just taking in the view. Because it is right by the water, you can hear the sound of the gentle waves but overall, it makes the vibe here really peaceful. There are also a few stores and restaurants located by the park in case you wanted to shop or grab a bite to eat. I would say this is a must stop in San Diego!

This is the perfect place to come when you need some quiet time or want to see the San Diego skyline. By far the best place on the island to just take it all in. Easy to get to, locates at the end of Orange Avenue, with plenty of street parking nearby. The Coronado shuttle runs end to end of Orange Ave every 15 minutes and is free. Many places nearby this park to grab a bite to eat or get a drink. What I like best about this park is that there is nothing to do. No shops, no people selling trinkets, no snacks, no nothing. It's perfect! You can actually enjoy nature and just listen to the wind and enjoy the well maintained landscape. Beautiful flowers all around. Benches and private areas to sit and relax or have a quiet moment with a date. This is THE place to come when you are on Coronado. No better views of SanDiego. No better place to catch your breath and enjoy the atmosphere.

I love this little stretch of park located at the end of Orange Street in Coronado with its breathtaking view of Downtown San Diego. Yes, it's not large, but if you come here for the vistas and to relax, well you made a great choice. A well maintained sidewalk leads right down to the San Diego Harbor where you are greeted by some comfortable park benches. The garden is full of blooming roses, ancient Cycads in the form of Sago Palms, and weathered wooden benches. I can see how some would use the parks edge facing the harbor and the San Diego City as a place to tie the knot. In the end, I learned something new. I learned that Coronado Island was the birth place of Naval Aviation, by a plaque on a stone in the park, and I learned if you want or need a great view of the San Diego skyline, this is the place to get it. The view alone is worth the five stars.

A visit to Coronado in San Diego just isn't complete without a visit to Centennial Park. ... the secret is that your visit doesn't really need to be all that complete. Centennial Park has nice views of downtown SD; and if you happen to be in the area, feel free to add this stop to your bike ride. There's a handful of parks and stops around Coronado, be sure to check them all out, my fave was Bay View Park just down the street a mile or two. Happy Yelping!

This park is at the tail end of the row of restaurants and bars on Coronado Island. It's a small park between apartment buildings. It has small grassy hills and seating areas were you can enjoy the day, or late evening. The end of the park has a spectacular view of the San Diego skyline. It makes for a great photo, if you're into photography like me. This is the place to come to for 4th of July fireworks. They have an amazing show here, but it gets crowded fast. So come early. Also, I recommend either spending the night in the area, or leaving as soon as the fireworks are done. This is because it gets gridlocked fast, and getting over the bridge toward mainland SD will take you about 2 hours or more.

There is no prettier view of the San Diego bayfront throughout the whole city. Centennial park is definitely a must visit destination for out of towners and us locals love it too! It's a cute quiet little spot to come hang out & take pictures. To the right is a little sandy area to maybe have a day at the beach !

Without a doubt, "The Best View of Downtown San Diego". I've been to many spots around Coronado, San Diego, Shelter Island etc and I cannot find a better place to get a photo of Downtown San Diego. All of the angles are just right from this point. The parking can get a bit heavy on the street but Centennial Park can easily be accessed by a nice walkway leading to Coronado Ferry Landing Marketplace. I love this walk at night. In fact, I went jogging here last night from Centennial Park to the base of Coronado Bridge @ Tidelands Park just before taking one of my best cityspace photos. I give this place 5 stars for location, location, location =)

A perfect view of the city of San Diego! Definitely a must see for a visitor or a local. We spent some time doing holiday photos here (which everyone seemed to have the same idea) and the day was perfect and the panoramic views of the city were spectacular. A great place for pictures, relax on the beach, have a picnic, or bike around...If you can make it across the Coronado Bridge...this is one place worth stopping to take in the view! For night shots bring a tripod and get ready to capture some amazing city skyline shots from hundreds of angles!!

There's only one reason to come to this park: to get a view of Downtown San Diego from Coronado Island. Other than that, I don't think there's much else here. It's a tiny little park.

Such great views from Centenital Park. You can see alot of the skyline and inner structures. You can even see Broadway Lofts. Lots of benches and grass. Love it.

A big disappointment for us was the morning of we still saw bird poop all over the deck. No one was responding to us, therefore we couldn't get anyone from the venue to clean it (I asked prior when touring the venue and was told it would be cleaned day of). As it got closer to set up time I had no choice but to ask my husbands groomsmen, my brothers, and our cousins to go buy mops and scrub the deck. Not to mention the venue coordinator for the day of didn't introduce herself until we were eating dinner during our reception, and never actually gave us her name. He was incredibly responsive throughout the process and remained highly engaged in discussing our plans. =PROS= *Extensive decor included. The package came with beautiful florals and centerpieces, and we were able to view a sample table set up that felt simple yet elegant *Food was included and notably served plated, which is typically an expensive upgrade at many other venues *Clean bathrooms with multiple stalls, which was surprisingly uncommon after touring so many venues *DJ and wedding planner services were already included *Photobooth upgrade was offered at a very reasonable price =CONS= *Very limited parking. We were grateful valet service was included for our larger guest count, but I would strongly recommend this upgrade if not already part of the package *No groom suite. There was a small bridal suite available, though it would feel cramped for anyone beyond just the bride *Limited greenery surrounding the ceremony area. Aside from some shrubbery, there was very little natural scenery and noticeable street noise nearby The pricing was extremely competitive and this likely would have been our choice had I not personally prioritized a venue with more natural surroundings. From both a financial and planning standpoint, this option removed a lot of the usual wedding stress because of how many services were already bundled together. On top of that, Oscar and his team stood out for being exceptionally organized and efficient during both the tour and quoting process.
