Of course in order to legally go fishing we needed a fishing license so we came here the day we arrived to get that taken care of. My wife and I both needed to get an out-of-state license so we answered all of their questions to fill out the form, paid the fee, and left with our fishing licenses. We also got some bait so we could get started immediately! Staff here were very helpful and friendly taking care of what we wanted. They have a good selection of bait and tackle.

It is so much better than Link in Rice Lake! But trying to get service done on my Ford's is impossible! I leave message after message and they never return the calls. Finally I call either the sales department or collision department and they will go over and find out what's going on in service and why they aren't picking up or returning voicemails! When Service finally gets back to me, to book an appointment they make an excuse that it's their new phone system. It can't be their new phone system for the past two years! It has to be under staffed, laziness or something else! I think the owners of Don Johnson have no clue how mismanaged this service department is or they would solve this issue immediately. When you interact with the service people they're polite and professional so I have no issue with that. It is just trying to make an appointment! They need someone to answer their phones and book appointments

This shop had a quick response time via Messenger and when I called for an appointment they were friendly and offered me options to accommodate my work schedule. I explained that it might be a full recovering or an easier repair and did not want to make the drive if they couldn't do what was necessary to fix the seats. They said bring them in and we will get them done quickly. In addition, when we brought them in the guy who checked them in said they look repairable and if not, it is standard covering that we have in stock. He said they will be done at the end of the following week. I told them I will be putting the boat in the water in May so take extra time if need be. We heard nothing from them, we called first week of May, they never tagged the seats with our information and they did nothing with them. The gentlemen on the phone was extremely rude and said we would have never agreed to fixing them as we are busy. When my wife reiterated the conversation she had at the drop off, he said that didn't happen. He admitting not tagging the items and that they have been sitting there for a long time, when asked, could get them done soon he said no way. I am a business owner and I understand mistakes happen what is unacceptable is the extreme rudeness and attitude to my wife and also the unwillingness to try and come to a conclusion. Voices were never raised on our part and we offered them extra time and we were never rude. They on the other hand did not tag the items, told us and then reconfirmed the due date and then had the audacity to be extremely rude. Save yourself the trip to the shop and quote by phone, if something goes wrong on their part, expect nothing but poor service and attitude.
