We appreciate you from the bottom of our hearts! We are an active duty military family on vacation from Texas and just outside of Rice Lake we had turbo intake hose on our 2025 GMC Sierra 2500 HD AT4X AEV blow. We were 70 miles from where we were staying and found this GMC dealer online. Desperate, we went inside and explained our situation. We had no other vehicle, we were 1400 miles from home, and 70 miles from where we were staying, with zero options. We were stranded. Samuel, our service advisor, said he would need to talk to the manager Mel and see what they could do as they were booked solid. Samuel and Mel were able to squeeze my car in the very next day, despite being booked solid, and provide us with a loaner vehicle so we could make it to our lodging for the evening. This dealer was a lifesaver! They repaired my truck the next day and even let us keep the loaner car an extra day as it was our 25th wedding anniversary and we didn't want to spend it driving to pick up the vehicle. This is exactly what you want every dealer to do, but very few would go above and beyond like the team at Don Johnson Motors and Rice Lake. Finally I call either the sales department or collision department and they will go over and find out what's going on in service and why they aren't picking up or returning voicemails! When Service finally gets back to me, to book an appointment they make an excuse that it's their new phone system. It can't be their new phone system for the past two years! It has to be under staffed, laziness or something else! I think the owners of Don Johnson have no clue how mismanaged this service department is or they would solve this issue immediately. When you interact with the service people they're polite and professional so I have no issue with that. It is just trying to make an appointment! They need someone to answer their phones and book appointments

I understand it's hard to keep up, but you guys should be watching that more than the other things that are not on sale. The gas there makes my engine run really bad, this applies to all Kwik Trips. When I left I felt it wobble and brought it back immediately she looked it over and had Jason auto repair mechanic look it over and they said I had a tiny bit of play in the ball joint and that was causing the wobbling, I told them it was not doing this before and she sent me on my way anyways. Feeling that it was unsafe I took it to la point tire and has them look it over and they informed me of her mistakes. I called to let her know and she offered me 5$ what a joke! Do you know how much damage that would have caused if the tire had fallen off not to mention where I could have been and how many people could have gotten hurt?
