I no sooner got it back and I hit a deer 50 feet from where the black ice was! 2 weeks later I hit a deer that took out the passenger side of my truck. Don Johnson's team has fixed my truck 3 times and each time it comes back better than it did when I first bought it. Kerri and Ryan are awesome and always make sure to keep their customers informed. The weather forecast was for rain and snow that weekend and we now had a vehicle with an open window! We pulled into Don Johnson Ford in Cumberland (we were driving a Lincoln), and asked if there was any way that they could look at it, and help us out. They advised that their schedule was full, but they would see what they could do. (We were trying to make one of the very few ferries for the day, so were under a significant time crunch!) Within 45 minutes, they had removed the door and were able to bring the window back up, and then secured it for us! (If they had had the parts, they would have fixed it too!) Shop workers were rude to my 82-year-old father as he waited 1 1/2 hours - they can't drive in the dark and the wait made them change their travel plans. Pieces sticking out, poor fit of headlights, dirt in the paint job, and a shimmy in the front prompted me to bring it to another shop where they determined that the repair had not been completed - the car was still bent in places. After-market parts were used without my knowledge, refurbished parts, cheaper parts than what was listed on the receipt, and they lied about test driving it or performing any kind of safety tests. They allowed my 80-year-old mother to drive away in a car that was bent and unsafe. I am so thankful that she didn't get hurt. Rude, dishonest, and poor workmanship. Another $5000 repair underway at a different shop. Go somewhere else.
