I called to schedule a pumping and inspection for my septic for my house that was being sold. The lady I spoke to scheduled us for both services for the second week of January. She even sent a text confirming the type of appointment and date. Fast forward, I called the day prior to our appointment to find out the time they would arrive and she somehow said she was under the impression we didn't need a pumping. I told her that is not the case and that I told her what was needed when we scheduled the appointment. Instead of her apologizing for her error, she proceeded to tell me what the buyers of my house want. Stating they don't need to be there for the pumping just the inspection. This is not the case. Working in real estate, I don't need real estate advice from a scheduling lady at a septic company. She tried to say they will schedule the inspection and pumping on different days. I told her that doesn't work as we are closing on the house very soon. We chose to go with a different company mostly because of her response and no apology for her scheduling error. Even when I called back to cancel the appointment, she continued to try to be combative about her error. Everyone makes mistakes and a simple apology and possibly moving appointments around to accommodate us would have gone a long way. Attached is the confirmation text she sent.

They failed the septic w/o a full inspection of the septic system and not just the tank. They only opened the main cap to do the pumping. I found the clean outs and found out why it failed. Wasn't that what an Inspection should find? I didn't expect them to fix it at that time. Not currently a fan even though they were reccomended to me.

Now I am at the same place as before they arrived with needing more work done. The main purpose of the work was to locate the service ports. If this wasn't able to be completed, then no other work should have been done until this could be finished. No call to verify next steps, nothing. This is not how to run a business. The owner mentions that the quote was for a set amount of time. This is not true. It specifically states $600 for 3 hours of work, then has an hourly rate after that. It makes no sense to do the inspection without finding the service ports. Now I am in the same position as I was before they came out, but down $1200
