So i got the family and we got there at 9am which was perfect timing even though it started at 10am lol. The line was short but if you wait till like 10:30 the line was around the block ! Yes we try to go back for another round of burgers lol but line was too long lol. NOW I DONT eat burgers I like cheese burgers lol but this burger here was just mouth watering amazing and I'm not just saying that my 8rld who is so picky about what's on his burger . He doesn't like mayo or onions or any sauce besides bbq sauce and ketchup lol. This kid pretty much ate my whole burger and half of my husband lol needless to say he enjoyed every moment of it the way we did. $15 the most I've ever spent on a burger lol.

Each year it somehow manages to get worse instead of better. Who wants to spend their weekend at an Oktoberfest crammed into a parking lot, waiting in endless lines for overpriced food and drinks? The music barely plays long enough to create any real vibe, and the organizers seem more interested in signaling how "woke" they are with random gimmicks like a drag contest than delivering an authentic festival experience. This event has become a chaotic, uninspired mess -- and one I won't be returning to anytime soon.

The other attractions were a variety of attractions, foods and vendors. Although not under your control, you had a vendor, selling elephant ears out of the same dough they made there funnel cakes out of. Your quality of food offerings and the limited local vendors has a lot to say about what this fair is about. My suggestion to people reading...head to other fairs. This was not a memorable evening. My family and I will not return.

(This was for the show last month with Everclear. As most people do, I'm going to mix two things…read moretogether here. Partially mumbling about the show and partially mumbling about the venue/experience.) A few things worth noting: I had been here once prior for a seated show but never for a GA one. I'm not really an Everclear fan. Nothing wrong with the music, it just never caught my ear. My daughter is a huge fan so this was totally for her. Part of the GA issue was a non-issue as I forked out for the meet & great package so we were guaranteed to be on the rail as close as you could be. Everything in the email from the 3rd party company that handles the meet & greet stuff was all spot on: Show up at time X. Buy merch if you want before you are let in. You are let in at time X. You are given bag of swag. Band plays a single acoustic song. You line up the 1st time and the band will sign whatever and briefly talk to you about whatever you want. Art loved that I wasn't bringing the kid and that it was more that the kid brought me. You line up the 2nd time for pix with the blast furnaces in the background. This was well all executed. At time Y, the rest of crowd is let in and then you wait an hour until it's time to start except it wasn't really time to start as there was an opening act that no one seemed to know about. The show was the show. When you're that close, the sound is hard to judge. To me, it's all a sludgy mess musically although Art's vocals were, all things considered, excellent. At the end of the show the band came down to the rail and they were talking/selfie taking with everyone there. Art was beyond generous and gave my kid his setlist and a pick. Overall this was good. The staff got everyone in and out easily. Parking was a non-issue as we got there early and parked strategically to get out quickly. Art and the guys are pros-pros who know what they are doing. Another show here? Yep. Why not.

They ought to redesign it because 1) I'll never be able to figure this one out, and 2) I don't have patience. Think of all the frustrated would-be customers never making it to a show!! The Grange Fair is a traditional country fair run annually at this site in Wrightstown, Pa. It has…read moreall the attributes you would expect from a cultural events that has run for more than a century. Livestock displays and competitions, 4H halls full of pies, pickled foods, flower arrangements, and art, with colored ribbons for the winners. In addition, you can buy a tractor, arrange for a home visit by a landscaper or stone mason, and indulge yourself in carney food to your heart's content. For the kids (in each of us), there is a ride area with enough spinning, dipping and diving to upset your stomach for a week. My advice, ride before you eat, or better yet, come twice, once to ride and another visit to eat. The food is what you expect from a greasy country joint. Burgers, Sausage, Franks, Pizza, Ice Cream, and Kettle Korn (my fave). There is usually a beer wagon around that pours out a local brew and leaves a wet trail of suds on the ground. Beware the drunken bees that congregate there. Man, would I love to have some of the Beer Honey that hive puts out! Yes, there are a fair share of Carney barkers and hucksters to enjoy with vigilance, and the local politicians trying hard to find votes by giving out balloons to kids. But, you can ignore that degradation and enjoy everything else. The place is crowded at night when the cooler air invites families to come out for a night of old fashioned entertainment. There is something special about a country fair at night. But, if you prefer to avoid the bigger crowds, arriving in the afternoon allows you a clearer view, and the ability to park and walk through the tents and sheds at an easy pace, when everyone who works there has more time to pay attention to you. Be sure to make time to come up here. The roads around it are jammed in the evening, so give yourself time to wait in line. If you know the roads, it is easier to approach from the north or west. Take out your GPS or paper maps and figure out how to do that. You could save yourself an hour of more in the queue. The Grange Fair is definitely a child memory maker, so be sure to start your kids early and allow them to carry on this wonderful All American tradition.

There were enough selections of adult beverages, food, and snacks that I got to experience the whole EGF vibe MINUS the crowds, long lines, and the insane traffic. We enjoyed 3 bands, one of which I totally rocked out to. They said they're new to the scene and I appreciate that EGF gave this new band the platform. I've come in previous years but this one has to stand out as the best!
