I am totally disappointed in Cellular Outfitters. What has happened to this company? I have ordered 3 other phone cases from this company and never had a problem with returning or receiving wonderful customer service. I ordered my 4th phone case about 10 days ago and I am totally dissatisfied with service and the "no return" policy. The phone case I ordered does not have the hole cut out where the phone camera lens is located. it is totally useless. I went online to see what I could to to rectify this problem, and I was directed some place where I was going to be charged $5.00 to ask a question. This is bizarre. I will NEVER do business with this company again and I certainly will tell my friends to avoid this company. This company's policy is totally unacceptable as far as I am concerned. read more

Repeated attempts to return incorrect items have failed. I even tried returning to the return address on envelope and it came back to me. There is no way to contact them. Weird situation. Got what I ordered on time and it was good quality for a low price. However, they charged me $11 for shipping with zero notification. I entered my payment information and all of a sudden the order was placed with no notification of shipping costs until afterwards. They explained it was because the items shipped from a warehouse which is legitimate, but the way they snuck in the extra charge is unethical and made me fear I was being scammed. Luckily it worked out, but you should know that the shipping is "the catch" for their low prices and you won't know that until it's too late. I bought a cell phone case for my Motorola Droid Turbo. They had one on special for 5.99 and free shipping so I decided quickly they would be the ones getting my business. Everything was going along fine while purchasing the item until I saw "Promo code" spot and so i took a quick look at retailmenot and sure enough, one of the codes gave me 25% off. I was thinking this place is great. But I noticed one thing that was odd...the total price never shows up before you purchase. There was the item for $4.49 and the tax for .43 cents, nothing next to shipping but still no total at the bottom of all the charges. When I hit the final purchase button, the new total came up with a $4.99 shipping charge included in the price now. There was no way to go back and reverse the order since it had already been placed. Purchased a cell phone case from this seller on Amazon. 2 weeks later and USPS tracking # says it will ship tomorrow, but today I get an email saying the product is out of stock. I should have known when it listed for $19.99 but was reduced to $1.99 not to expect to much. They wanted a picture. I sent them one twice. Have heard nothing for a month. I finally gave up. We had been loyal and appreciative customers of Cellular Outfitters until this final order, and I do mean final. Here's the shell game: I ordered a new case for my cell phone, paid for it via PayPal and received a tracking number saying it had been sent to UPS at Fonanta CA (not New Hampshire). That number led me to a UPS tracking number that said UPS had been holding my package in Independent City CA (still not New Hampshire) and that it would arrive in Georgia by 9 p.m. that same day. I watched the truck roll by my house. Today I contacted UPS and was, unexplicably, told that UPS had dropped my package off with the US Postal Service in Independent City CA, and that was a USPS tracking number. The USPS says that it is not, and helpfully explained what to look for to ID fake tracking numbers like the one I had. Despite requesting a refund, I do not expect to receive my product, nor do I expect my purchase price and shipping to be refunded. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! It is extremely unfortunate that this type of marketing works...they list standard shipping without listing a cost, and two cost options for various levels of expedited delivery. Only after you have placed your order do you get hit with a $5.99 shipping and handling "fee". They know that they are doing the wrong thing. First, they immediately make the excuse on line that you can spend more time time shopping for the same item elsewhere, and claim that their price is still less than the competition with the fee. A bit late. Then they don't respond to cancellation requests made 5 minutes later in writing, nor any requests for contact thereafter. It is a reminder to all who make on-line purchases that there are companies afraid to do business in an honest and transparent way. If they were honest and transparent, I'd buy from them again and again. If they have the lowest price for a commodity on-line in the future, however, like hundreds of other people that have expressed their sentiments before me, I will never give them another dollar. If they are afraid of being honest, why would anyone expose themselves to this type of experience more than once? It isn't poor customer service. After waiting 48 hours for them to respond to email they said they hoped to have my phone case shipped in the next day or 2. I advised them this was unacceptable and I wanted a contact phone number to speak to a supervisor. Well these items might look like a good deal but if you don't get what you paid for they're not. I was sent the wrong item. It was blatantly checked off the pick list. I emailed their customer service and have not heard anything back. After a week of waiting I found their phone numbers and have been calling them daily but neither number is in service "at the moment". UPDATE: I finally was contacted by CO staff. They adjusted my shipping fee significantly. I also received my merchadise. However, no mention about correcting the problem with the website or rethinking the shipping fees. Which is a shame. Their products are quality and lasting.
