You may hear horror stories about some septic companies failing tanks just to get the expensive replacement job - with John and ABC Septic you can rest assured this is NOT the case. He explains everything in detail and is clearly an expert. As a first time septic owner, he also took the time to give me advice and a quick rundown on what ownership entails. She was very efficient. She called when Charlie and Matt left as a follow up to see if i had any questions. It doesn't get better than this! The price was reasonable. Initially, I used My Guy Plumbing to flush my hot water heater. I was pleased with the service and…read moresigned a 1 yr contract. included was a free inspection. I had the inspection and the plumber found a leak in my crawl space. They also found 2 other items in need of repair. I agreed to the work. They did a good job and were great to work with. I'm not convinced one of the items really needed the repair. Not long after, I found water accumulating between my hot water heater and my furnace. MGP came out and determined it was the pressure relief valve on my 3 yr old HWH. There wasn't any water in the pan under it. The valve was replaced and a recommendation for an expansion tank was made. I chose not to do the tank at that time. Within a week, i noticed the water accumulating again. I called my HVAC company. They said it was from condensation on the AC line coming in. It did not require any repair and would stop when the humid weather passed. It has. I contacted MGP to complain. The office was very nice and said they would have the owner call me. He did call. I missed the call and called him back. He was driving and didn't have my file and said he would call me back. He has not. I am dissatisfied. I would like a refund for the part replacement that wasn't necessary. The company is responsive and does good work to my untrained eye. I felt the prices were high and that they looked for things to repair each time they came out. This and the owner's lack of response has left a bad impression. Therefore I would not recommend My Guy Plumbing. I will make sure my neighbors and others in my senior community are aware of my experience.

Vito answered my request very quickly and even quoted me a price on the phone after just hearing…read morewhat my toilet problems were. I told him I would be contacting other referrals but that I would get back to him. He agreed that would be a smart thing to do and even wished me luck in my search. But when other plumbers were slow to get back to me, I decided that I would go with Vito. I called him at 8PM on a Friday and he was here at 11AM the next day. He determined what the problem was (just as he predicted on our first contact) and, because my toilets are approximately 60 years old, he felt the needed parts might be hard to find. He did fix the problem while he was here but he told me if I had any further trouble with the toilets, he would research, order and install the new parts at the original cost he quoted and the amount I paid him today, would be credited back to me. In addition to being very fair, this young man was knowledgeable and so pleasant to talk to. I am looking forward to his completing the job (which may not even be needed). And I am certain that he will be honest with me in this regard. Please give this young man a try. I am sure you will be pleased with him.
