In May we had an emergency that this company saved our asses on! My husband was so pleased that the company we used for 7 years we were willing to leave for a service contract here. Well from my rating I'm sure you can tell that we did not end up making the switch A few determining factors. 1. Getting a response from the office took more of my time than theirs. I tried to schedule a service. They sold me on a service contract. The contract took over a week and a half to receive along with phone calls and emails as we knew we NEEDED the service. But they didn't want to come out until contract was sorted out. Once the contract was received it took almost another week to get them out. At this point my filter for my septic was so clogged it was coming out the top. they then left the concrete top exposed 8-12" deep with one of my patio chairs covering it. They said they would return for the rest of the job the following day. Only to find out the following day they weren't coming until the following week. With much more of my time spent sending emails and making calls they did return more quickly. But again more of my time to get it done. 2. Once we finally got them to come Out for the riser and new top their tech was clueless. They were to put in a riser and new top. The man left without doing the riser. Thankfully i had cameras because the woman I spoke to tried to convince me that it was done right. Yet on the camera I watch this man walk in the yard with the riser. Then walk right back out. So what did he do.....we still don't know. And with two phone calls about the job we were drilled with questions about the job making us feel like WE did something wrong. After two calls they finally sent out another tech who filled us in on the cluelessness of the other techs and how his evening was being spent fixing other jobs. We explained our situation and our displeasure with the service and the tech/sales person ensured us that this was atypical for their company. With hesitancy we were going to Move forward anyway. The icing on the cake was the lack of accountability from the owner and office staff. NEVER an apology or admittance or gesture of good faith. I can't give a company that doesn't stand by their employees and company my business. This was stressful and WAY more work for me than it should have been. I will gladly be returning to triple js septic. A small. Well run familY company that has always done what they said they would do. I'm sorry I ever gave this company my money. I have never written a review before but I felt like I needed to for this company. My septic started to back up into my house. We immediately stopped using water and I searched for a septic company. I called one company and they told me that they would have someone to my house in 4-6 hours and that there would be a $300 emergency surcharge on top of the regular fee. I called Atlantic next and they said they would try to have someone to my house in 3 hours and that there was a $50 emergency charge. Atlantic Septic showed up in 30 minutes and got to work immediately. The technician was clean, pleasant, and well spoken. He found a clog within 10 minutes and cleared it. He then pumped my system and had me up and running with an hour of me calling them. I was very happy with the service and to be honest I was surprised. We recently bought a house in which the d-box needed to be replaced and the sellers used Atlantic. When we did our walk through 2 days after the work was done we noticed they just dumped the dirt back and left it a mess. When we called first to ask if there is a warranty on their work the rep had an attitude asking why and when we asked about the shape they left the property in he said that is what the sellers paid for. Nasty attitude and unprofessional. I would not recommend them for any work. read more

They came out and pumped my tank but one week later the tank was full to the point it is backing up in my house. I called them and they told me it can fill up in a week!! A septic tank is pumped every 1 1/2 - 2 years. But it's still full. They pumped nothing then I had to pay extra to trouble shoot and find out they never pumped it. This company is a rip off I wouldn't recommend anyone to them. read more

I hired them to do my septic, they were the only ones that responded. I was desperate, water was coming back into my house and they kept sending these young inexperienced drivers who could do nothing except pump out. Finally I asked for the owner, I emailed and called and the office kept sending people who could do nothing for me. Then I spoke to owner I hired them to redo the field, the pump and float. Once a week after all repaired the alarm goes off, i call them they come. tell me its my electrical. I call electrician, nothing is wrong with electrical. I call them back they never call me back, they push me to electrician, when its their equipment that doesn't work. Nice they were until they were paid, then never respond anymore. I would not hire them to do anything but pump, because none of them know what they are doing. I told the owner that the workers they hired dont know what they are talking about. I asked him to come look and no response no show up. now i have to call my lawyer and filed complaints they installed a bad pump and float and after paying them 14K to fix it you think they would get it right. Anyone out there need septic call anyone else but them! They were all nice as pie once they realized I could figure out it was there faulty equipment and then not even a return call! They dont stand by there work big disappointment. I gave them multiple chances and nothing! They are truly terrible read more

Careful with these people. They simply pump out your septic tank and leave the property. If you have a clog upstream of the tank, they don't tell you that until you return home that night to find your toilet not running. Mike told me to "Use someone else next time". read more
