Even though the screen was black, if I swiped on the phone, it picked up. I took my phone here to see if they could fix the screen so that I could get my pictures and stuff off the phone. When the guy returned the phone to me, the phone was in worst condition than it was before. The screen looked worse. The phone can no longer receive calls. He said that the phone won't work because of the motherboard. However, it was working before. I just couldn't use it because the screen was black. If he could not fix it because he did not know the brand, he should have just refused to work on it.

Just fix the screen. I went to pick it up 15 minutes later and was shown that the screen was repaired (not with Apple parts) and was told that NOW my lock screen button doesn't work. I explained that it worked fine when I dropped it off. He then tried to sell me a fix for the problem that he created. He wanted to charge me an additional $120 to now fix the lock button. So now I am out the money for the screen repair ($120) and my phone is even worse off than when I took it there. Terrible place. Questionable business practices.

The associate [I won't say his name], told us the phone was $10 a month but we would have to switch plans since our plan wasn't offered anymore. I asked how much more and was told it would be $90 less per mo. Needless to say I was all in and completed the transaction. Upon receiving my bill the bill turned out to be $15 more /mo. I called AT&T to look into this. After explaining what happened the Rep said he had no idea how I could have been offered a $90 reduction and he couldn't get anywhere near it. He was able to restore my previous plan, [the one that wasn't offered anymore], let me keep the A71 for $20/mo. and adjusted my bill down $60 and lowered my monthly bill $10/mo. This is what I wanted in the first place. In the future I'll deal directly with AT&T.

Jim learned I depend on my phone 24/7 so he found the time......to aid me in my plight. After 45 minutes and after researching the issue...I was restored to A-1. He had me view the broken internals and see and FEEL why replacement parts were needed. (As a consumer, i do appreciate that learning!) He also installed ORIGIONAL Samsung replacement parts....showing me the pack each came in. Seeing how eager and happy everyone one was to help me set the associates apart from the other stores. I don't live in the area but, hopefully stop in to buy more accessories soon. Vijay R was my associate and I can't remember the other staff however they all were a delight to work with. Unlike other stores who treat you like a second class citizen even though I spend $2000 a month of all my services. It's people like the Tom's River staff that makes me stay a ATT client and forgive the other stores with terrible customer service. Great service and really nice clean store.
