Do not use this Ajax store on Bayly ever. They have no integrity, what's so ever. We got a quote…read morefor a new used computer, before going on vacation a few wks ago, and we were going to bring our cpu for them to data transfer to the new one . When we went into today, they said, they are closed this wkend , due to the holiday. I asked them twice, they said, they will have it ready by Sunday, latest Monday, then today, said no..Their communication is terrible. They also needed photos to help them, which we already sent them. I told them , they lost my business forever. I was trying to give a small business, some business. BIG Mistake. They also said that the motherboard, could only handle 8 gigs of ram, and if we wanted 16, had to pay more to upgrade,,which is a total lie. He didn't honour our quote. This is a slimey way to try get more $$$. They are NOT to be trusted. I went across the street to FUTURE Tech, they had it ready in 3 hrs , got it back today and threw in a DVD/CD player for free and a 6 month warranty, with a monthly cpu clean up each month.. also a better deal, gave me $150.00 off the reg price for a brand new CPU. DO NOT USE this store. totally unprofessional and no integrity.

One hour screen repair turns into five day odyssey of frustration and terrible customer service…read more Got the son's iPhone 7 back with dead spots all over the screen, apps randomly opening, randomly flipping from page to page, and the colour was off. Each time it went back, and each time it came back with operating errors. Fixel clearly does not check their work, which seems kind of basic. They also do not answer their phone. Their voice mailbox is consistently full so they're not checking their message. They rarely answered texts. They also repeatedly did not show up to the shop during business hours. Had to bring it back four times, and each time they promised the world. "100% guarantee you'll have it tomorrow. I'll even throw in a bunch of free stuff to make things better". Neither of things happened. When I asked about a refund they actually managed to get more distant and hands-off. They are not ready to run their own shop. They should have spent more time working and learning under another more established shop. Spent a chunk of father's day staking out the place, waiting to see if they were going to show up and open. When they saw me in their doorway after two full days of avoidance, all I could say was "phone". They wouldn't look at me. No apology was expected and none was offered. No refund was offered. Their only concern was that - to top it off - they lost his phone case. I believe they are an inexperienced sole proprietorship and they panic when they make mistakes. They even said "tell your friends", and so I am. They had every opportunity to turn a bad situation into a more positive customer experience. Keeping me informed would have made a world of difference. I can forgive a lot, and I'm always happy to play ambassador for their service, but only if I believe in the business. Also, they only take cash and no receipt was provided.

So the customer service is entirely non-existent. I'm assuming that it's pretty illegitimately run business because, the person running the store front that they are located at, confirmed that he just comes and goes when he pleases. As well, the only way to contact him is via text which is pretty shady!! In short... it's not worth your time to even try contacting him... god help you if you actually bring something in to get fixed!

The Source - Big selection of unique lamps

I had the opportunity to visit the source as my household needed an audio optical cable. What is…read morethat used for? I'm not entirely sure, I was just told the brand and the price and told to go get it. The store has covid precautions set up. There is a sign asking all customers entering the store to use the automatic hand sanitizer dispenser at the front. There are arrows on the ground indicating which ways customers should walk. These were a bit funny though they all seemed to just point into the store with no way to get out. They also have plexiglass set up at the registers to protect their employees. When I walked in an associate was over almost instantly to help. I let her know what I was looking for and she checked with another employee to find it. It was a super quick and easy transaction. The only thing I will note is that it was a little overpriced versus what you can get from Amazon. I haven't been inside The Source in ages and was delighted with how well organized everything was. Gone are the days of the very cluttered Radio Shacks. They had a small console gaming session with some accessories and games. I kind of liked that it was the pared down version with only the most popular titles. They also had a lot of really fun lamps. Yes - lamps. There were smaller Himalayan salt ones, a globe lamp that you can actually draw on and erase, and some utility ones that are also built in desk organizers. A good visit all in all since I accomplished my mission and got some inspiration for desk decorating.
