This is my new favorite spa! I've been trying to make an appointment, but my schedule wasn't aligning with their availability. Finally, I was able to schedule an appointment for Thursday and I am so mad I waited so long to go! This spa is nothing short of amazing. All of the staff at Celestial Spa were so nice and professional. From the time I entered to the time I left, the customer service was exceptional! Special shout-out to my masseuse, Stacey, who provided the best massage I've had in a long time. Also, my esthetician, Brittany, who provided me with very detailed information about my skin type and gave me the best facial ever. Overall, I really enjoyed my spa day experience and it is my new go to spot for spa services. They are also black-owned which is a plus! If you're looking for a great spa, look no further, try this place out! SN: I was also impressed they were still following COVID-19 precautions. Everyone was required to wear a mask and they took my temperature when I first entered the building.

What a fantastic experience…read more I visited D'lor for my birthday after my partner gifted me a spa gift card. When I searched for spas and came across the great reviews for D'lor, I was set. Their prices, packages and great Yelp reviews were all selling points that solidified my plan to book with them, and I was not disappointed. I initially planned to book on the website as I never prefer phone calls if I can avoid them, lol. Unfortunately, the website did not show any availability for the day I was hoping to go, but I figured it was because of the short 1-day turnaround. In an unusual move, I called D'lor just to be sure they didn't have availability and lucky me - they actually did have a spot. YAY! Bridget at the front was so patient and helped accommodate me for the day/time and package that I was looking for. Upon arrival, it was easy to find a parking space and head right on in. I was greeted warmly and given a short form to complete before heading in. The salon was booked and busy, set in a separate portion of the business, it was so peaceful as ladies hustled in and out. Once I finished my form I was taken to the ladies dressing area and given a locker that included a robe and slides. The space was intimate, offering a private toilet, sauna, and more, all in one space. Once I got changed I went and took a seat in the sitting room. This space was sooo comfy, I almost hesitated a bit when my masseuse came and got me lol. I hate that I didn't catch either of my providers name because they were both amazing! I went with one of their February packages that included a 60min massage, 60 min facial and a steam bath. I forgot about the steam bath but, wow, my massage and facial were great. My massage was nice, not life-changing, but it was a good experience. That facial? Amazing. After switching my medication recently, my skin has been struggling and I really needed a good facial and extractions. Miss Ma'am got me right!! She got under my skin in the best way, she even snatched a random hair that was on my chin without me asking LOL. From calling in for my appointment, to my arrival, and exit - this was a fantastic experience! I will be running back to have another spa day at D'lor.

So, I was pleased to find a day spa that provides the services I want at a location that does not require an hour jaunt to the north side of town. I'm very happy to report that D'lor delivers. All the spa services you'd expect along with all the salon services you could ask for. My first visit was a gel pedi and a quick barber cut. I had the pedi first, and it was perfection. La took her time and provided an exacting, detailed pedi that was amazingly relaxing. The nail area is small and intimate--I really appreciated the low-key atmosphere. Next up was my hair cut--I keep my hair super short these days and usually have to have it done by a barber. Getting both a pedi and my cut at the same place is quite the treat! Faye took excellent care of me! I even added on a shampoo--yes, I know "why get a nearly bald head shampooed?" Well, if you've ever had an excellent shampoo no explanation is necessary! Moreover, I learned about some styling possibilities that I never considered and now I'm really looking forward to my next fancy cut and dye! Next time, it'll be a full on spa day--mani, pedi, cut, facial, and massage. And yessss, I WILL be having lunch across the street. I just had the best experience and I'm already planning my next--I'd say that's a good review

Walking in I was greeted by the friendly staff and ushered to the back by my therapist who took time to ask me my preferences and areas of concern....I liked that But, my actual massage experience was not great. I purchased the 80mim deep Tissue, my therapist never applied the proper pressure for the type of massage I requested, even after informing her to apply more pressure. I was just being rubbed on, for someone that works out as I do that's just a waste of my time. I left with the same stiffness and knots....not feeling rejuvenated at all. Which is disappointing seeing others had better experiences. My assessment was that she was new and not the best match for me or the massage. My therapist was not as skilled as I would have hoped for the price Now asks for. My recommendation is that Now should do a better job of paring therapist to the client and type of massage, I do not see myself going back after this experience.

"A Rough Start with a Redeeming Finish"…read more I flew into Atlanta for my girlfriend's birthday and we visited the spa at the W over the weekend and to be honest, my experience started off on the wrong foot. I scheduled these massage services well over 6 weeks ago and there was a mix-up with my booking not one time, but three times. And when i arrived to check in, I was told they moved me from 3:30 to 4:30 That didn't work for my evening plans. And that's when everything turned around. The manager, Lorraine immediately stepped in and sincerely apologized. Not only did she offer both of us complimentary champagne, but Paola and Rahsaan were incredibly kind! The level of empathy and professionalism they showed completely shifted my perspective. They were able to move both of our services up to 1:30 and 2:30, and while we wanted later times, this ultimately worked out for us. The therapist, Leasuer was exceptional--attentive, skilled, and clearly experienced. That session alone was enough to make me reconsider my initial disappointment. It's rare to see a business take responsibility and work so hard to make things right. While my first impression wasn't great, the genuine customer care won me over. I'll definitely give them another chance.

I'm writing an update to my 2020 review because I gave the spa an opportunity to address this…read moreconcern directly before posting publicly. In January, I took the time to write a thoughtful and professional message and electronically send it. When I arrived for my February appointment, I realized I had not received a response. I printed the message and hand-delivered it to the staff. One staff member verbally acknowledged, "Yeah, we received it." Now, as I prepare for my March appointment, I still have not received any response. As noted in my original review, I have been a loyal customer since 2020 and schedule my appointments for the entire year in advance. My massage therapy journey began in college after a physician referral, and it has remained an important part of my wellness routine ever since. I value my relationship with my massage therapist just as I value relationships with my physicians and hairstylists. Jordan knows my body well, and I feel comfortable in his care. To be clear, this review does not reflect the majority of the staff. Many are consistently kind and professional, such as Amour. This feedback is directed toward the staff who appear dismissive and unwilling to provide a professional response to reasonable customer feedback. While booking my 2026 monthly appointments, I noticed yet another price increase. The 90-minute deep tissue massage increased from $155 to $180 -- approximately a 16% increase. I did not request any price adjustment or special accommodation. I simply scheduled a 60-minute deep tissue massage at the current $140 rate. My only request was that the spa consider announcing annual price increases in advance. In the past, staff have called to acknowledge feedback, which I appreciated. I expected the same professional courtesy this time. I am not asking for the owner to contact me -- simply a professional acknowledgment. This seems reasonable considering the spa regularly sends emails and newsletters with other announcements. A former employee mentioned the spa has been under new management since I began coming in 2020. If expecting basic communication and professionalism is unrealistic, then perhaps my loyalty as a long-standing customer is also being taken for granted. Supporting a business should never feel like your voice is dismissed and doesn't matter.
