Great ice cream. Love the soft serve mixed with candy as well as the hard scoops. The fudge is tasty too. It was dark when we went so I didn't get pictures. But definitely stop in. It's a better value than kilwin's (which we call "kill my wallet"). read more

Salt water taffy, fudge, ice-cream, oh my... so much nostalgia from my summers in Northern Michigan as I recently entered this place! I have so many sweet memories of all of the above and sharing them with my children was such a treat... We built our own bag of salt water taffy and the jury is still out on which flavor is best. They are taking COVID precautions so it's order-at-the-door for right now but these two young gals were hustling. Love that they have a half-slice box since few people need pounds of fudge and also love that they offer malts! (And you can order it with soft serve or hard packed Ashby's) One of the gals working was having a birthday this week but she was working with a smile, even when she got a gaggle of girls at the door ordering all kinds of different things :) read more

The girlfriend and I take a trip up to the Charlevoix area every fall and we always make sure to stop in. Not necessarily for the fudge but the pumpkin pie ice cream here is delicious! Nice little fudge shop in a nice little town. They also have bulk handmade candy on top of the ice cream and fudge. Service is always A+ as well. What an awesome place for a small town like Charlevoix to have in the summer! My favorite Candy is the toffee, and my daughter liked the pecan and caramel candy. Stopped in here on a Friday night to get a quick scoop of ice cream, which was very generous! They had my favorite Michigan Pothole! Then, I'm assuming the owners (Celeste?) asked us to try a new version of fudge she had created Expresso. It was delicious. She asked us about the after taste, and then her husband (assuming again), handed us a box! How nice was that, I absolutely accepted and thanked them! Please don't go in here wanting a box of free fudge, but that kind of generosity isn't seen much and I hope this brings in more people to a Mom & Pops kind of place that enjoys its customers & there opinion. read more

One of the cheapest ice cream places in Charlevoix. My father and I like getting their turtle sundaes and eating them in the park. They also have chocolate covered sea foam. My favorite, getting a large piece only costs like fifty cents. SO worth it. The fudge from this store isn't personally my favorite, but each fudge place lets you sample so you can decide for yourself which one is your favorite. Best fudge in the whole world! Ice cream is so creamy and delicious with so many different options to chose between. Celestes hand dipped chocolates are AMAZING! They are taking COVID precautions very seriously! The way they are serving at the door and are doing an amazing job shows that some people still care. Their caramels are sweet and delicious. There taffy has so many to chose from with all of these bright colors that grab your attention. They serve popcorn for only $2 a bag! And they even offered my little doggo a free puppy bowl of vanilla soft serve which he ate like there was no tomorrow! I used to go to Charlevoix as a kid. My wife had some fudge shipped out to Colorado to see what real fudge tastes like. Wow, this stuff is the bomb, even when shipped! This fudge is soft, sweet, and totally yummy. I am a purist, and I like plain chocolate the most. In fact, I only get plain chocolate because all the additions and flavors are just distraction from the pure, sweet goodness that is the true object of desire. I know, it isn't Murdick's famous fudge. But I grew up on that stuff, and I'm telling you, this stuff is just as good, if not better. I could give myself diabetes with this stuff if it was readily available all the time. read more

A thoughtful coworker brought back 5 boxes of Celeste Murdick fudge after a recent trip to Charlevoix. Promptly after breakfast (what, you don't eat dessert after breakfast?) we sampled plain chocolate, turtle, peanut butter, double chocolate and mint. All of them were great, but the peanut butter and turtle were particularly delicious. They are smooth, creamy and not too sugary sweet. Best part is they have that "homemade" feel. read more

I came here during the summer and I loved it. It's a quaint little Mom and Pop nestled in downtown Charlevoix. I loved the service and the old timey feel of the place and the product itself was the best fudge I've ever had. The ice cream was high quality and just as good as Kilwins but way less expensive with a large double waffle cone only costing $4.25. They also had soft serve ice cream. All in all if you want reasonable prices and a high quality product and you'd also like to support a local business that's not a corporation go to Celeste Murdick's Fudge. read more

Among the many fudge shops in Charlevoix, I walked into this one. I liked the simple, uncluttered look of the place. I did not do extensive price shopping, but the three slices for $16 seems like a good deal. I got three different types of fudge and have enjoyed all three. They are rich, without being too sweet. read more

I recently went to this fudge store on a visit to Charlevoix and tasted their fudge. It was delicious!! They had a good variety of flavors available and the service was prompt and friendly and I was surprised to see that they also had ice cream which is very cheap compared to most places (my waffle cone cost only 3.75). All in all this is DEFINITELY worth a visit if you are ever in the Charlevoix area for fudge and ice cream. read more
