Yes to just about everything here. They're super friendly and almost all of their food is delcious. i would highly recommend the cookies and cream fudge, the almond bark, and the turtle style fudge. It is very creamy. We found a lot of the Mackinac fudge to be gritty. They also run a buy 3 get one free deal. highly recommended

Delicious chocolate and buttery caramels! The plain chocolate fudge melts smoothly on the tongue. Highly recommended.

Typically our family will buy a half pound slab or two of Murdick's Fudge, because it is everywhere up here in the Traverse Bay area. I am *devastated* that I wasted thirty-some-odd years of my life on such sub-par fudge. I had no idea. 45th Parallel's Candy World (Yelp administrators, please correct your spelling) is a tiny shop on the side of a restaurant, but it has a hundred years of memories inside. Everything from clove candy, bubble gum cigars, big league chew, sour pucker powder, and even a giant Sugar Daddy. But behind the case are around twenty flavors of truly decadent, top-quality, gourmet fudge. Flavors such as dark chocolate salted caramel, bubble gum, maple nut, and peanut butter chocolate (complete with halved Reese's cups on top) tease the eyes while making the salivary glands work overtime. Our family's favorite is the dark chocolate salted caramel- the perfect amount of sea salt, and not at all bitter. Check the board outside for specials: today's was "buy one pound, get 1/2 pound free". When you're in the Suttons Bay/Leelanau area, bypass Dam Candy and Murdick's and head STRAIGHT for Candy World!

We all ordered one scoop of ice cream including the three children. I enjoyed my creamy salted caramel in a cup. The ice cream was creamy and tasty. My total bill excluding cash gratuity was $44.50. My family enjoyed their ice cream so much that they returned here again for more ice cream the next day. I did not participate in their second visit because I am trying to lose some weight during our vacation. More to come regarding the rest of our vacation here.

You can choose a cup or a cone, or opt for a milkshake or sundae. They also have a lot of different handmade chocolates and truffles, as well as packaged snacks and drinks. One day, I got birthday cake ice cream here (had chunks of cake and sprinkles in it) and another day I got the best gummy worms ever to take to the pool (they were SO good). There is a little ice cream window on the outside of the shop, but I'm never sure if we're allowed to use it, as no one is usually at that window. This spot is cute, but seems to slightly change identities each year. I'm sure it's hard to have a business in such a seasonal spot, but thanks for re-opening each year, as we alwaays look forwarad to going!
