If I could give negative stars I would. I started there when Michael was working there. The place…read morewas great then. Michael moved out of state and that left Charlie there. I dreaded going to get my infusions, though I had to for my treatment, because of Charlie. The turn around rate there was ridiculous. They closed the Clinic and I was never notified. I receive Ketamine Troques and I had to find out from the pharmacy that they thought the Clinic had closed. Definitely malpractice with abandon of a patient. Side note: I refused to pay for my bill, but explained it all and I never heard from the creditor again. It was written off!!

These are my opinions. Had a horrible experience. Went in for the pain treatment, was told I'd be…read morewell enough to check in to a hotel/leave in an uber. I was so sick and nauseous I wanted to die. Best yet it didn't even help my fibromyalgia pain. They tried to say I ate too late, despite following their vague advice to 'not each before' (I ate at 5am for a 1pm appt). I was not warned I'd be that nauseous and vomit was never even mentioned as an obscure side effect. The owner anesthesiologist Charlie just sat and berated me for eating too late. The nurse (god bless her she is a saint) who had cleaned me up told me some people do have a reaction like that. They acted like it never happens, but told my relative it does happen. They hadn't told me to bring a change of clothes and had nothing to provide for soiled clothing. They squeezed me into some too small scrubs and wheeled me out for a 2 hr car ride. I was sick all night and am still woozy about 24hrs later. I'll even take credit for the vomit but something in the meds made me vomit. You don't vomit for fun. I would have still threw up with an empty stomach. After berating me, Charlie asked how my pain was. It had been bad when I came in. I said same only now I'm so nauseous I want to die. He seemed shocked I had no relief. Sitting in that chair, sitting in the car, and sitting here now my back/neck feels exactly the same (which is what I was being treated for). My bottom half felt like helium but this top half never felt different. Pain has not changed at all. The saint nurse told me I could cancel my second treatment if need be. My relative had prepaid (they had originally told us half the price it was, and acted like we should have known they meant per treatment when they said total not per). She said Charlie said they wouldn't refund, but eventually said he would. I dont know if they did yet. Look having a bad reaction is not the clinics fault. But telling me the wrong price, not giving specifics on when to not eat, not warning me I could vomit or should bring extra clothing, and not warning me some people are so sick they can't even look out a sleep mask is all their fault. Vomit was never mentioned as a side effect. They should have spare clothing in all sizes or tell you to bring a change of clothes in case. And they absolutely shouldn't act like you'll be functional but weak when the treatment is over. He is absolutely nuts if he thinks I could have checked into a hotel on an empty stomach. If you power through cuz you are in pain mental or physical: bring extra clothes, don't eat 12 hrs before, get the price in writing, don't pay before the treatment, and expect you will be functionally dead after the treatment. If you aren't then you will at least be prepared. Adding to my belief it was a reaction to the ketamine or 8 other meds he gave me for the treatment (4 I'd had before) my 2 other sisters who had been treated in other states were not remotely that nauseous after. Just weak. To be honest had it actually relieved my pain but went the same, I'd still have cancelled and gone out of state (as they are the only clinic that will call you back on the east half of Iowa) for the next treatment with 2 extra sets of clothes minimum. The way they treated me for throwing up and had nothing prepared for vomit (despite admitting it happens) was very cruel in and of itself. And it should be mentioned as a possible side effect. BRING EXTRA CLOTHES AND GO ELSEWHERE.
