Our First-Ever Cedar Point Adventure! My family and I visited Cedar Point for the very first time ever to celebrate my son's 13th birthday, and what an adventure it was! My family is originally from Florida, and we've now been living in Ohio for a little over two years. We are definitely a Disney/Universal Studios family, so we really haven't experienced many of the more traditional amusement parks. Needless to say, Cedar Point was a whole new experience for us--and we absolutely had a blast! Our first ride of the day was Gemini, the famous racing/dueling coaster. I thought Gemini was a pretty solid coaster with some really epic drops! Unfortunately, when we rode it, only one of the tracks was running, so we didn't get to experience the full racing/dueling aspect of the ride. Even so, it was still a lot of fun. We also rode Thunder Canyon as a family, and that ride immediately reminded me of Kali River Rapids at Disney's Animal Kingdom. And let me tell you, my daughter and I definitely got the worst of it! We got absolutely SOAKED by one of the waterfalls on the ride. But honestly, that just made the experience even more fun. My kids also tackled some of the bigger and more popular coasters, including Steel Vengeance and Rougarou. They said both coasters were pretty EPIC! Unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to experience all of Cedar Point's coasters, but honestly, that just gives us another reason to come back--and we definitely will! One thing that really surprised me was the merchandise pricing. Coming from a Disney/Universal family, I'm used to souvenir prices that can cost you an arm and a leg. Cedar Point's merchandise was actually reasonably priced, and they had plenty of great stores to explore for all your souvenir needs. There were also plenty of places to grab snacks throughout the park, along with several restaurants to choose from. We decided to eat at BackBeatQue, the rock-themed barbecue venue located along the Gemini Midway. They offer smoked meats like pork, chicken and burnt ends, along with sides such as mac and cheese and cornbread. We had the BBQ pulled pork, chicken tenders, mac and cheese, and rotisserie chicken, and each meal came with cornbread. The portions were really good, and the food was so yummy in my tummy! Everything was absolutely delicious and hit the spot after spending the day riding rides and exploring the park. Overall, we had an AMAZING first-ever Cedar Point experience! We made some great family memories, had tons of fun, ate some delicious food, rode some awesome rides, and celebrated our son's 13th birthday in a pretty epic way. We definitely didn't get to experience everything Cedar Point has to offer, which means we'll just have to make several more trips back! So, if you're planning your next adventure and you're here in Ohio, I would definitely recommend making a trip to Cedar Point. As one of the oldest amusement parks in the world, there's a reason this place has been entertaining families for generations. Cedar Point, you officially have a new family of fans! We'll definitely be back!
I think if I was a bit younger, this theme park would get a big five from me. But alas, I'm in my 30s now and I can only be thrilled to a certain point. If you love roller coasters, you will love this park. I saw a ton of single men walking around (not together), wearing shirts that promote coasters from other parks. They're here for the thrill. And Cedar Point delivers. They have several coasters with unique concepts that I haven't seen at other parks. With 18 coasters, you'll have a day full of riding (and waiting). We came on July 5 this year, which typically I'd be like "heck no" to, but it was our only option for our short July 4 trip to this part of the country. There was also rain and storms forecasted for the day, so we decided not to get fast pass in advance. Apparently, a summer weekend day is generally prime time for visitors and you usually need fast passes to ride a decent amount of rides on these days. So we were a little nervous about having already committed to a package deal that included park tickets that we couldn't get a refund for. We did get the premium all-day dining pass online ahead of time, and were even a little anxious that we'd wasted our money there too. And even though we entered the park late (around 3pm), we had a full day with little wait, got to ride all the rides we wanted to (10 total), and got our money's worth by using the dining pass 4 times for food and 2 additional times for soft drinks. The premium all-day dining pass allows you to get an entree and/or a snack every 90 minutes, and a soft drink every 15 minutes. Great deal (IYKYK), especially if you are not waiting in lines for rides for too long to use it. I will say that the food was surprisingly good for theme park food. Like, nothing good enough to be good as a standalone restaurant offering, but very good for theme park and dining pass food. We went to the Grand Pavilion, Panda Express (same as outside), Back Beat Que, and Hugo's. Of all the coasters we went on, my favorite was Siren's Curse. I loved the tilt at the first drop, and despite the rolling, the ride was very smooth and the drops were fun. My least favorite was Magnum, because holy hell, are we trying to go straight to the hospital or what? Intense, shaky, rolling side to side, and just the worst. No thanks, never again. And although the storm did eventually come, we were still able to ride all the good rides. It was kinda cool to ride Siren's Curse as the storm was starting to come in, in the background. Then we rode Gatekeeper as the sprinkling started, and saw the waves of Lake Erie start picking up, right next to the coaster. Very cool. On the way to Gatekeeper, one of the employees was jokingly like "THE STORM WE SAW COMING ALL DAY IS FINALLY HERE! TURN BACK! GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN" and ngl it was a little scary for us Californians but we just nervous-laughed all the way over to the ride. Can't wait to have kids and be able to bring them here!!
loved it! coming from california (and having been to both six flags in valencia and near san francisco)... i thought this was place was GREAT!!! the only thing that was rough.... was the humidity. outside of that... the park was great. easy to navigate and the rides were a lot of fun! top thrill and steel vengeance were both incredible. maverick was super good too!
What can I say other than this is the best amusement park in America. No where else will you find as many roller coasters with this level of thrill and fun! There are seriously 5 or 6 coasters here that would be the main attraction at any other theme park. It's located right on the water, which is a really fun vibe. I came for my friend's bachelor party, so we balled out and got the Fast Pass Premium. I had never done it before, and it's going to be hard to go back. We were able to ride 16 attractions (14 of which were coasters) from park open to close, avoiding hours of lines in the process. Yes it is pricey, but in my opinion it is worth it for this place, especially if you don't go often. We had such a fun day! My top 5 favorites were: TT2, Steel Vengeance, Siren's Curse, Millenium Force, and Maverick!
This park is amazing I went for a one day trip and I got the fast pass plus I recommend to get that if you are only going for one day but the rides were master class except corkscrew I got a headache from it.
I grew up watching the Travel Channel and constantly seeing specials about Cedar Point, so finally going for the first time at 33 honestly felt surreal. Last weekend was definitely one of those core memory trips I'll never forget. I'm part of an LGBTQ+ coaster group called Scream Queens and throughout the year we travel all over the country hitting different parks. Usually our trips are around 20 people, but this time? SIXTY gays descended onto Cedar Point like a very organized pride parade with hydration packs and Fast Lanes. We'd split into smaller groups during the day, but half the time there'd still be 30 of us migrating coaster to coaster together. Every time we made it to the correct station, we'd politely ask the ride ops if we could ride the same train, and every single time they did their best to accommodate us. The staff was genuinely so kind about it too, which we appreciated because coaster people know that kind of thing can absolutely throw off operations. Special shoutout to Alexis working both Wild Mouse and the Himalaya in the Boardwalk area. A few of us walked up in our Scream Queens shirts and completely unprovoked they got on the mic and said: "We want to give a big welcome to the ICONIC Scream Queens joining us today." The way a group of mostly 30 and 40 year old men collectively screamed like little kids... embarrassing but beautiful. The only slight downside was that since it's still early season, a few rides weren't operating like Sky Ride, the Ferris wheel, and Magnum XL-200. Since we were there Thursday through Saturday, having those open probably would've helped spread the crowds out a bit more. But honestly? It didn't take away from how amazing the trip was overall. Absolutely can't wait to go back. Also very curious to see how the park evolves now that it's under Six Flags Entertainment Corporation leadership. The coaster community will definitely be watching lol.
Came here a few times during our road trip. This place is really nice and it's huge with lots to do! It's even bigger than Canada's Wonderland. They have so many different rides for various ages. One day here is definitely not enough. They have a huge water park at the back and a hotel that is connected. My family and I really enjoyed the time spent here and would definitely come back again in the future.
Experience: Came on vacation from Florida to visit our friends. We decided to take the boys to Cedar Point but also needed a hotel, so we found a package deal for the hotel at Cedar Point Express that includes tickets, drinks and all day dinning. We went on a Saturday, 31 May. Facility: This place is nice... at first we arrived "early", but NOTHING is open. And because it was windy in the morning, they didn't open most of the rides either. So the early arrival was a waste of time. No food open... no stores... no games... and because of the wind, no rides. So I would skip the early arrival next time... well it probably saved us a longer line to get in the park, so that is the one benefit of getting in early. Once 10:00 rolled around, then some things started to open up. We had all day dinning too and couldn't find anywhere to eat until 11:00. Also, adult beverages aren't available until noon. There is plenty to do in the park, that I'm sure has been said many times. But once things got rolling, we enjoyed most of the park... the kids stayed on the rides, and us two old ladies were on scooters (disabled vets) so we had our "own ride". LOL! The food was good, but we most enjoyed the chicken tenders at one of the restaurants that is specifically a chicken tender place. They were so good. 5/5! The BBQ was pretty good too!! Although the corndog was not. 1/5 We had to pay for it outside of the dinning package and it was soooo salty, we threw it right into the trash. Adult drinks are expensive, but what do you expect here. Service and Food: Most everyone we talked to was good, some were outstanding and friendly and a few were less than good. We loved the ladies in the old time photo store. 5/5 Also, some of the game employees were a lot of fun!! 5/5 But we went to one adult drink stand and asked a few employees waiting outside the adult beverage shop, what time they opened. She said 12:00 in about 10 minutes. So we waited outside the shop for them to open. They were setting up all the bottles for mixed drinks and getting napkins, straws, etc, but we only wanted a few cans of beer. At 12:15 after waiting patiently (because she said it would be just 10 min), I finally tapped on the glass and just pointed at the cans. I figured they could sell us a can, since there was no mixing involved or setup. She turned around to ask the grumpy guy behind her and he said no. Why tell us 10 minutes if yall knew it would take longer to open? And why aren't you open on time? I know things happen, and a delay can happen, but then tell your customers, as you saw us waiting all that time without a word. We finally left and went to another bar that was open, ready to serve, and had good customer service. That man, who seemed to be in charge, needs a different job that doesn't include customer service. I guess you can't have ALL good, happy employees. LOL! Overall: We would definitely come back. I'm from the world of Disney, Universal, and Seaworld theme parks in Florida, and this all day dinning was WAY better. I think the all drink package is worth it too! The boys had the fast lane fast pass which is an extra $100+ each, but it was well worth it. Thanks for a great family vacation with lots of good memories. We had a few snags, but overall, it was an amazing day!
I do not under the excellent or 5 star reviews that I am seeing as this is not what we encountered. They must not have reservations for the resort, which we have. This is our third year in a row coming here. The first two visits EXCELLENT. But now, it is like night and day. Ever since Six Flags took over operations, we knew that the quality will go down and boy did it ever. First, why would I have to talk several times to the housekeeping supervisor and front desk to CLEAN my room. When they did, it was very subpar, no vacuuming, they didn't make all the beds (just pulled the sheet over) and did not replace the pillowcases that were dirty and did not even bother to replace them (they just turned over the pillows instead!). Second, the elevators by the towers are constantly breaking down throughout the day. A maintenance man that I talked to (very kind and frustrated as well) said that the original elevator company was let go and Six Flags brought in a local elevator company to do the repairs and maintenance. They are hard to get hold of, don't have any parts in their inventory (they must be ordered) and leave without thoroughly testing the elevators. Finally, I never, ever heard the words "We ran out" when I ordered food at their pizza place or at TGIFridays at my prior visits. How can you run out of things knowing that you will have a full house? Most restaurants (I used to own restaurants so I know this) will order above their normal ordering (based on their prior history) to ensure that you have an adequate supply on hand for the mass food run. On top of that, their Perkins restaurant sucks. I get it that they will prepare food prior to opening to ensure the food order is flowing but with eggs, that is cooked to order (again, I know this) but my eggs came out ABSOLUTELY COLD (I am not making this up). When it came out again after waiting for 10 minutes for the waitress to come back (she stopped by every minute it seems like prior to our food coming out), the eggs came back barely lukewarm. Unbelievable. Six Flags always ruin the properties they take over (Six Flags Great America in Gurnee Il is a prime example) by cutting corners, cutting costs all for the maximum shareholder benefit and executive pay. They forget that we, the patrons, are paying for their salaries and if we stop going to their properties, what are they going to do then? I stopped going to Great America as the quality went downhill, parks are not cleaned up, landscaping looks barely attended to, rude inattentive employees and so forth. Now they lost me as patron at Cedar Point as well as any properties owned by Six Flags. Good luck visiting them.

Let me start with a confession: My original review of Cedar Point from over a decade ago was a disservice to one of the greatest amusement parks in the world. A couple stars and one lonely sentence? Shameful. But hey, I was young... probably too busy devouring cheese fries and dodging seagulls to write anything decent. This update is long overdue. Because Cedar Point isn't just an amusement park. It's a cornerstone of my childhood, a rite of passage, a place so iconic they had to build it on its own peninsula. Let's do this right. Growing Up Next to Greatness I grew up just 15 minutes from Cedar Point. While most kids were begging their parents for one trip a summer, I could just hop in the car on a random Tuesday after school and hit the midway. Some people had malls--I had Millennium Force. * I still remember being too scared to ride the big coasters. * I remember the day my friends got me to ride Millennium Force--instant obsession. * I remember trips to the arcade, walking the boardwalk, and hitting up Famous Dave's on the lake. * I even remember the time we docked our boat there (briefly)--but realized the car was faster This was my backyard playground. And it shaped everything. From Guest to Crew - Full Circle at Hotel Breakers In 2015, it all came full circle: I joined the Cedar Point team as a Hotel Breakers front desk agent, later becoming a supervisor. I had the honor of welcoming families who were about to experience what I had growing up. * Hearing kids scream at the sight of GateKeeper out the window. * Watching tired parents beam with joy seeing the beach right outside their room. * Being part of something so special to so many. That wasn't just a job. That was a full-circle moment in my story. Let's Talk About These Coasters Cedar Point didn't get the nickname "America's Roller Coast" by accident. This place is a shrine to adrenaline. * Steel Vengeance - the reigning champ of hybrid coasters * Millennium Force - still gives me chills after all these years * Magnum XL-200, Raptor, Maverick, Valravn--they're legends for a reason * Oh, and Top Thrill 2? If you know, you know. Every ride has a story. Every story comes with a photo of you screaming with your arms in the air and a funnel cake waiting for you afterward. Not Just Coasters... You'll find way more than thrill rides here: * Cedar Point Shores: The water park gets better every year. Lazy river, wave pool, slides--it's got it all. * Adventure Park: Go-karts, mini-golf, and the SkyScraper that lets you freefall with a friend. * Dining: Classic park eats, plus lakeside gems like Famous Dave's with a view. * The Boardwalk: Newly enhanced with a retro vibe and perfect sunset views over Lake Erie. This park doesn't rest on its laurels. It evolves, surprises, and levels up. Elite Tips From a Local: Fast Lane Plus is worth every penny if you're short on time. Go midweek in May or late August--cooler temps, lighter crowds, happier you. Stay at Hotel Breakers: Early entry and a literal 2-minute walk from bed to coaster. Fries with malt vinegar on the midway = Cedar Point tradition. Get the photo pass. You'll thank yourself later. This Place Is Family Cedar Point is more than steel, tracks, and midway games. It's memories. It's the time I made my mom a mosaic hot plate at one of the family craft booths. It's the fireworks show over the water. It's the feeling of growing up next to magic. It's friends. First dates. Summer jobs. Sunburns. It's my dad, a passionate birder, lighting up during lakefront walks and nature programs. It's... home. Final Word Cedar Point is in a class of its own. A world-class park, yes--but also a place deeply embedded in my life. And now, I'm proud to give it the review it always deserved. Cedar Point is a great park with many thrilling coasters, including elite coasters such as the RMC hybrid Steel Vengeance and the lone remaining strata Top Thrill 2. They also have many excellent supporting coasters, including some that would be stand-outs at other parks, such as launch coaster Maverick, giga coaster Millennium Force, hyper coaster Magnum XL-200, dive coaster Valravn, the photogenic front entry wing coaster Gatekeeper, invert Raptor, and now the equally photogenic tilt coaster Siren's Curse. There even have some classic coasters here such as woodie Blue Streak, racing coaster Gemini, suspended coaster Iron Dragon, and mine train Cedar Creek Mine Ride. They also have some good flats, like Skyhawk, a Screaming Swing, maXair, a Giant Frisbee, and WindSeeker, a Tower Swinger. Additionally, the park is clean and full of refill stations for their souvenir bottles, which I strongly recommend getting if you don't already have one from another Cedar Fair park, to help you stay hydrated. They also have excellent dining options inside the park, including BackBeatQue, the Farmhouse Kitchen and Grill, Hugo's Italian Kitchen, and their newest and my favorite, Grand Pavilion, which combines good food, such as Funnel Cake Fried Shrimp, with an upstairs dining area that has a great view of Lake Erie. Plus this setting on Lake Erie gives you beautiful views everywhere from the coasters, to the walkways, to the skyride, to the dining areas, and allows you to feel the wonderful seabreeze while walking around the park and riding coasters. And they even have a skyride and a train to help you get around this colossal park. However, Cedar Point does have a problem - they are too busy for their own good. This unfortunately means that, even if you are visiting on a weekday, you really do need to buy Fast Lane Plus, or otherwise you will be waiting multiple hours to ride roller coasters. With that said, as much as I dislike having to buy fast passes just to enjoy an amusement park, everything else about this park is too good to deny it five stars. read more

HalloWeekend at CedarPoint Did you know that there was a Roller Coaster capital of the world? I mean it has to be somewhere, but I never knew where it was until I had the chance to visit there. The Roller Coaster capital of the world is CedarPoint in Sandusky, Ohio. It's also the home of Snoopy. Well, he's their official mascot I had the opportunity to hang out there two evenings in a row with some of my closest friends. It also happened to be Halloweekends. There are scare walks where ghosts, clowns, werewolves and more jump out at you. I wish I had video of Jeni running through the scare walk as they chased her. After the first night we learned that you can purchase a "no boo" necklace. It's a pumpkin that lights up and tells them not to scare you. It's great for kids, but I will tell you that they teased Jeni about not needing it and some chased her anyways. There are also haunted houses and halloween attractions. We did two of them. The first was the Eternity Infirmary and it was a super scary haunted house. And by scary I mean jump out in the dark and scare you half to death wet your pants scary. The other one was the corn maze. It was suspenseful scary and lots of fun. If you're looking for something spooktacular this Halloween, check out CedarPoint! read more

We had an amazing day at the park and lucky the threat of rain kept the crowds away so we were able to ride every "major" ride in the park! The must stop rides are the Top Thrill 2, the Sirens Curse and the Steel Vengeance which was absolutely amazing! read more

So I've written reviews for every ride but not for the actual park?? Oops. Cedar point is the oldest standing amusement park in the country with world record rollercoasters. Shows, dancing, music, peanuts characters, petting zoos, candle making, face paintings, caricature drawings and more, this amusement park has it all. It will forever be timeless and yet classic. read more

Season Pass holder here. We love CP and all of the rides. We just finished up a Saturday night for Halloweekends, and we're very underwhelmed with all of the haunted attractions this year. Would have thought that we now have to pay extra for these things now you would think they would get better but that's not the case, There were minimal "Scarers". We waited in line for over an hour and a half for the cornstalker 2.0, and 5 min later after walking through it to Wish I hadn't wasted my time on any of these attractions. Should have just stuck to riding the rides like usual. Love CP but Halloweekends is a waste. read more

They don't deserve the bad reviews. All of my trips here have been amazing! My favorite rides are Millie, Gatekeeper, Raptor, Gemini, literally all the coasters besides the ones I haven't been on. I haven't been on sirens curse, Maverick, or top thrill 2 yet but I'm sure it will be amazing! My trips here are awesome! Please go here for yourself! Good for family as well since there are a lot of things for you to do. Flat rides are good for the kiddos and coasters are good for the adults and kids who can ride. But if your kid is tall enough for a ride please inch them up before you go to one that she or he is afraid of. Since my dad made that mistake and scared me off from coasters. But my sister helped with that fear. Anyways! This park is the best park everrrr! Bad reviews shut up! read more

Our first time here. July 2nd, 2023. Rainy morning = low crowds. Couldn't have been happier. Bought our tickets with an all-day meal bundle online. About $80 a person online. No fast pass. Included parking. Worth it.- Highly recommend doing this. Our road trip and put us here on this holiday weekend, not knowing it could have been swamped. Which would have been hours in lines, but we so lucked out. 1. It was predicting rain for the day, but we didn't care. 2. We made a bee line straight to the back of the park to start the day. Hit the most popular and biggest rides first. 3. The lack of fast pass was not hindering due to the threat of rain. We stood in line, yes, but I was able to ride a couple of the most awesome rollercoaster back to back due to the slow park in the morning. 4. If you get a meal bundle, make it worth your day. We would have eaten at every available time interval, but the servings were way bigger and more filling than we thought that we were going to get. We were really impressed with the quality of food that we found around the park. If we lived closer, we would have been here years ago. I did my research and tried to find the best ways to enjoy the park. Other than a couple rides broken and then the crowds finally starting to pick up later in the day, we didn't run into any problems. Then it finally started to rain. We got our last meal to go, which is an option. Near the front of the park, we parted ways to our short walk to the car. 100 percent recommend over any park that I've been to when it comes to the thrill of the ride. read more

Cedar Point was on my Bucket List for 40 years. It exceeded every expectation I had. The rides (from the mega coasters to the horse race carousel) were the most fun I've ever had. The grounds were immaculate and the décor for Halloweekend was on point. Best of all though were the staff, from the ticket takers to the ride operators to security. Friendly, knowledgeable, and really took pride in doing a job well done. My highest recommendation. There's something on America's Roller Coast for everyone. read more

Welcome back, riders! How was your ride? As someone who lives in Michigan about 2 hours away from America's Roller Coast, I've been coming to Cedar Point for my entire life. I love all the coasters and I love that it's truly a family kind of place. There is something for everyone to do -- no matter their age. Kids can have fun and explore Camp Snoopy or Kiddy Kingdom. Teens (and adults) can ride all the coasters and thrill rides to their hearts content. If you're wanting a slower day, there's shows to watch, games to play and plenty of stores and restaurants to stop at. I would say I *love* roller coasters -- to an extent. There's a few here that I'll go on, but still regret it for the jerking on my neck. Again, there's 17 coasters here so you're bound to found one you like or dislike. Raptor, Iron Dragon and Rougarou are great if you're just getting into coasters. If heights are your favorite, I suggest conquering Millennium Force, Magnum, Valravn or Steel Vengeance. I recently came here with my family of 6. We opted for Preferred Parking (perfect if you plan on being there all day and now wanting to walk to your car after a long park day!) Took us about a minute to get to our car from the gate. We also opted for Fast Pass Plus since we wanted to make the most out of our day here. Currently, Fast Pass Plus includes all the coasters / rides as the regular Fast Pass and also includes Millennium Force, Valravn, Top Thrill 2 (which hasn't been open yet this season), Maverick and Steel Vengeance. For an extra $30, we paid extra and I would say it was 100% worth it. Definitely check to see what rides are open that day if you're hesitant. We went on a Tuesday in August on a beautiful sunny day. The longest we had to wait for a line for about 25 minutes. Fast Pass Plus really made it worth it! My boyfriend and I were able to ride Valravn 3 times in a row with zero wait! If time is important and you're only going to be there a day or two, Fast Pass Plus saves you so much time so you can make the most out of your day! I also recommend splurging on All Day Dining and All Day Drinks as well. With drinks, you're able to get a drink every 15 minutes! No more carrying drinks all day and them getting hot. Get a new cup in 15 minutes and your problem is gone! Huge points for having Coke products! All Day Dining is great because you get an entree, side / snack every 90 minutes. Ride a few rides and then grab some food. Repeat all day. My only issue is there's not that great signage about it at restaurants. I would suggest bringing a map or printing off the info from the CP website prior to your visit. We had lunch at Coasters (typical fair food -- chicken tenders, fries, chicken sandwiches, onion rings) and all were happy. If you're in a large group like us, you can also save money by not getting everyone a dining pass because the portions are great to split amongst a few people. We had dinner at Panda Express (my first time) The dining pass includes one entree and side. Most opted for Orange Chicken and rice, but Kung Pao Chicken or Beef and Broccoli is also included. Your available sides are rice, chow main and fried rice. Again -- great deal! All Day Dining is about $40 and we used it a bunch so it pays for itself! Another deal is the pay for the day locker option. For $12, you can snag a locker and use it all day. It's great because you pay for a locker, but can use various locations across the park without paying again. My favorite coaster during my visit was Steel Vengeance. I haven't been able to ride it since the Mean Streak days. I didn't know what to expect but WOW! So thrilling! So much air time! The drops! Such a smooth ride compared to Mean Streak. I cannot wait to come back and ride again! Fast Pass Plus made it easy to ride multiple times during the visit. We finished off our park day with ice cream and sweet treats (thanks to the amazing people at the Ice Cream Parlor who really made use of our "single scoop cake cone" included with our Dining Pass! -- another huge potion!) My only disappointment for the day was how rude some of the workers were. Didn't seem happy to be there, could barely understand what they were saying to you. Some would get mad at you for going in a lane for a coaster when they didn't even tell you which spot to stand at. Overall, great day and can't wait to go back! read more

I had a terrible experience at this place, I went on the Top Thrill Two and the employee said that there was a malfunction as a joke, I was so scared. After this I went down the food stand place and I ordered Alfredo Pasta and they gave me a different kind of pasta, the final straw was when I went on the Miner Ride, there were these annoying kids yelling, "Don't go in the shed." Great experience if you can get discounted tickets. Cedar point can be a very expensive trip for a family to enjoy the park. Tickets to get in, parking, food, etc can add up fast. I highly recommend finding deals to make the experience more enjoyable or even getting a season pass so you don't feel like you have to go everything on one day. We visited the park as a family with a 5 and 6 year old and spent about half the day there. The park is huge so it was difficult for them to really enjoy the e whole park. I highly recommend picking a section or two and enjoying the rides in that area. Sometimes with the wait time they can only make a few rides in a couple hour window. Plus when we visiting the kids sections many of the rides were closed or did not open until noon. It was cool that they had bands outside. And other ways to entertain outside of rides. I also had a hard time figure the map out online. I wish they had more signs and directional arrows while walking around the park so you didn't have to rely on your cell phone. You are allowed to bring in your own food and water bottles so I highly recommend. Although the have food options throughout the park it helps save time and money. We also visited the beach area before we left. There is a great walkway along the beach but only a few entrances to get on the beach. Plus the beach was littered with garbage in the sand and on the water. Overall a fun time but recommend planning out what you want to do so you get the most for your money. read more

Can I bring food in park?
No, but you can get your hand stamped on the way out so you can reenter and go back to your car for it.
Have 10 tickets, any day. Was scheduled to stay at the Breakers May 28 and 29. Two suites. It was cancelled. Family cannot come any other time due to being out of state. Any refunds or maybe use these tickets next year?
