This is an excellent thrill ride at Cedar point. It is right when you walk into the establishment to the right. However it takes a second to get there you have to go through the midway and you eventually find this big huge blue coaster that is right next to the beach so it makes a fun experience. Anyway we got a fast pass and was able to get on it in about 30 minutes the rest of the line with about two hours It's very fun ride that is a great experience and a must do while you're at Cedar point

This roller coaster is one of the best for a start coaster especially for young children it first timer coaster riders. The ride is about 2 min. 39 sec. the first drop is right into a twist. A great coaster

Taken from CP's Skyride, you can see the diving first drop of this magnificent wing coaster. Gorgeous azure track and matching trains.

¶ ENTER THE REALM ¶ Rising high above the front of the park, GateKeeper is the world's fifth wing coaster ever built--third installed in the USA--as well as the tallest (170ft), fastest (67mph), and longest (4,164ft) one of this particular variety. Cedar Point's 2nd-newest roller coaster spreads its wings at the entrance to the main midway, beckoning guests to dare its 6 inversions and near-misses over a ride time of 2 minutes and 40 seconds. ~Special ride elements~ *dive drop *immelman *corkscrew (giant flatspin) *zero-G roll *inclined dive loop *in-line twist Cruising through nearly ¾-mile of azure blue track, this spectacular ride delivers up to 4G's of force at the base of the first drop and executes every turn with the type of elegance and precision Bolliger & Mabillard (the designer) is known for. Trains of 32 riders are built to resemble a griffin airborne, and the front row features a gold headpiece with eyes that light up red. Each row's outside seat also has white LEDs that appear to stream together when the coaster is in motion, especially when taking photos with long exposure time (very cool). Restraints are the soft vest style, identical to the ones on SFGAm's 'X-Flight' that self tighten for safety's sake, although they can get a bit snug over the course of the ride..... I didn't get a chance to ride in the front, but I can vouch for the back row (right side) that gives one hell of a ride. It's exhilarating no matter where you sit, just make sure you're seated on the OUTSIDE for maximum effect. Left and ride sides yield completely different experiences (since the seats are on either side of the track, as opposed to above or below it) so you'll need to try both to find what works best. The twisting elements through the "keyholes" are a phenomenal rush, and every inversion packs far more of a punch than you'd expect. Due to its young age, popularity, and proximity to the front gate, GateKeeper will most certainly have a long queue at all hours of the day. Even if lines reach up into the 45-60 minute range, I'd still strongly recommend you wait for this terrific roller coaster that is the perfect addition to Cedar Point's already impressive lineup. Eric S's Cedar Point coaster ranking = 4th out of 13. Verdict : there's not much that can compete with this imposing, yet gloriously majestic ride. You get your money's worth out of a nearly 3 minute long journey with a roller coaster that's smooth yet forceful, graceful while dominant. Beautiful all around, she is. GateKeeper should honestly be on your 'Top 5' short list. It'll soar high above your expectations, I can promise you that!

In my top 3 rides at Cedar Point! This is typically our first ride when entering the park and the last several times its only been a 20 min. wait! Thats a good start to a day at CP. Too bad other rides cant accommodate almost twice as many people, I'm curious how many riders they process on this ride in a day compared to others with lower wait times. Smooth, fast, twisting up side down, one of the best!

It was actually my first trip to Cedar Point, too (and, as an Ohioan, that is pretty embarrassing to admit).

My family visited Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, and overall we had an absolutely fantastic time…read more Cedar Point is known as the "Roller Coaster Capital of the World," and after visiting, it's easy to see why. There are so many rides and attractions that it honestly feels impossible to experience everything in just one visit. The thrill rides are incredible. If you love roller coasters, this place is like paradise. From massive towering coasters that shoot you high into the sky to lightning-fast launches and huge drops, the excitement never stops. Some of the rides had our hearts racing before we even got on them just by watching them fly across the tracks. The feeling of climbing slowly to the top of those massive hills and then dropping down at incredible speeds is an adrenaline rush like no other. My kids and their friends absolutely loved the thrill of it all. One of the coolest parts about Cedar Point is just how many rides there are. Everywhere you look there's another roller coaster twisting through the air, another thrill ride spinning and flipping, or another attraction waiting to be explored. There's a great mix of rides too, so whether you like extreme coasters, classic rides, or more family-friendly attractions, there's something for everyone. The atmosphere throughout the park is really fun and energetic. You can hear people cheering, laughing, and screaming with excitement as the rides fly by overhead. Being right on Lake Erie also makes the setting really beautiful. There are some amazing views of the water while walking around the park, which adds to the whole experience. Now, I will say that Cedar Point can definitely be pricey. Tickets, food, and extras can add up pretty quickly when you're visiting with a group or family. The food itself was actually really good, but the food lines were extremely long at times. We definitely spent a good amount of time waiting in line just to grab something to eat. The ride lines were also pretty long, which is somewhat expected at such a popular amusement park. When you have some of the best roller coasters in the world, people are going to line up for them. Even though the wait times could be lengthy, the rides themselves were absolutely worth it once you finally got on. Despite the cost and the long lines, the experience overall was completely worth it. My family and my kids' friends had an absolute blast from the moment we walked into the park until the moment we left. There were so many laughs, so many screams from the roller coasters, and so many fun memories made throughout the day. Cedar Point truly is an iconic amusement park and a must-visit for anyone who loves thrill rides and roller coasters. It's exciting, energetic, and packed with attractions. Even with the long lines and higher prices, the fun and excitement make it a place our group will definitely remember and talk about for a long time.

We were expecting the crowds to be pretty heavy since we went on a 4th of July weekend but was pleasantly surprised that it was pretty laid back. We bought the fast passes and ended up not really needing them. The rides are the best. They do specialize in roller coasters but they had some tame rides that my husband could enjoy (he's not into thrills). I had no idea that the park was located on the lake so you could be riding a ride next to the water. The views were amazing. They also provide games. While I was riding the rides my husband took advantage of the basketball game and we went home with 2 prizes. It's a theme park so everything is expensive. We easily spent over 200 dollars for the 2 of us including the tickets. Even though Cedar Point is not budget friendly, I highly suggest people still visit At-least once

So I'm going to say that the ride itself is exhilarating and fun but the fact that it's only 1 minute long is a bummer. I wouldn't find myself waiting to ride this for longer than a half hour. Not going to waste time in a line for a ride that's not very long. But the whole theme of it is pretty original. When I'm not on it and you hear the noises, it can be deceiving of what the noises are but when youre on the coaster you realize it's like... sound affects of sirens singing! The whole 90 degree shift hold and drop is epic and worth the lack of time in the ride but it's honestly disappointing how short it is.

This record-breaking dive coaster doesn't just climb, it teases. At the summit, the track tilts forward and holds you there, dangling riders over the drop like bait before sending you plummeting into pure chaos. When it's running, it's a masterpiece of suspense and adrenaline. But... Sirens' Curse has developed a reputation for being a bit temperamental. Maintenance delays, mid-ride stops, and even the occasional evacuation have already become part of its legend. It's frustrating, sure, but it also gives the ride a "survivor's club" vibe when you finally make it through. Ride Stats: Record-breaking height & drop (exact stats TBD) * Sharp, precise layout * Dramatic pause before first plunge Best Seat: Front row -- nothing beats staring straight down that drop Pro Tip: Check the ride's status in the app before heading over -- she's a diva, but worth the wait Photo-Worthy? Absolutely -- the top-hang moment is pure Instagram gold Personal Note: Sirens' Curse is intense, dramatic, and a little unpredictable -- exactly how a coaster with this name should be. When it's on, it's a must-ride. When it's not... well, at least you'll have a good story.

It's got this wild, untamed wilderness vibe that perfectly fits its name. The first lift hill leads into a jaw-dropping 95-degree drop that instantly wakes you up, followed by crazy, whip-fast turns that keep your heart racing the entire ride. The sleek design, bold colors, and overall atmosphere make it feel like you're on a roller coaster adventure through the backcountry. One of my favorite moments is the unexpected launch underneath the station that shoots you toward the water section -- it's a rush like no other. Like Millennium Force, Maverick's iconic silhouette is visible from the road as you approach the park, a beacon of thrills calling you in. Ride Stats: 4,450 feet of track * 70 mph top speed * 95-degree drop * 2 minutes 30 seconds ride time Best Seat: Front row for pure speed, back row for maximum airtime Pro Tip: Avoid the midday crowds -- rope drop or the last ride of the night means way less waiting. Photo-Worthy? Absolutely, especially near the first drop and water section. Personal Note: This coaster quickly became my favorite at Cedar Point for its unique mix of wild design and intense thrills. Every ride feels like a new adventure, and that launch under the station still gets me every time.

And despite the upgrade, this coaster has a BAD reputation. But does it deserve it? Let's find out! So first we climb up the lift hill, and we get a good view of Cedar Point. And a GREAT view of Top Thrill 2's Spike (although this wasn't built when I was there so RIP). We then hit a turnaround and hit the first drop. And we get... AIRTIME! Not a lot, but enough to make our butts go out of the seat. Which, HEY! I'll take it!!! We then hit the standard B&M Vertical Loop, which is fun followed by a Dive Loop which is great due to how much speed we have. But then we hit the INCLINED LOOP! Now, B&M Inclined loops are super rare, which is a shame because they're awesome. I LOVE the Inclined Loop on Riddler's Revenge (Would've also probably loved the one on this when it was Mantis as well as Green Lantern at Great Adventure. Sad that ride got torn down), and I love this one too! Plus, this is the only B&M Floorless coaster to have one of these! Making this super cool! We then hit the mid-course brakes and sadly, this is where Rougarou falls apart, Rougarou kind of sucks from here on out. We then hit some twisty turns which don't do much, a corkscrew that bangs our heads a bit (not too badly thankfully) until we hit the brake run. While Rougarou is not the best B&M looper ever and isn't one of Cedar Point's best coasters, it's not a bad ride by any means. In fact, I consider it to be underrated and a fun ride. Like seriously, from the way my friend talked about this ride, he made it sound like it was as bad as a Vekoma SLC or Green Lantern. LIKE BRO, ARE YOU NUTS???? THIS THING CURBSTOMPS BOTH OF THEM!!! And yeah, after riding it with him, it's really not that bad! That first half is just so good and again, I LOVE INCLINED LOOPS! Plus this never usually has a line. So I recommend checking this out at Cedar Point. Final Score: 72/100 Opened as Mantis in 1996 Reopened as Rougarou in 2015 Built by: B&M Last Ridden: May 20th 2023

Blue Streak is an important part of Cedar Point history with it being their oldest roller coaster. There was a storage bin to put your belongings, so that was a plus! I enjoyed every aspect of this coaster. It did have some shaking on the track, but that was expected. The first drop felt great! I feel that this coaster is a classic and I'm glad it's appreciated! Overall, Blue Streak was an excellent way to start off my day. I'm glad I chose to ride this one first. I can't wait to ride it again! Date of visit: 07/25/2023

We're here today to ride Blue Streak. A classic wooden coaster located at Cedar Point…read more Now, this ride is the last of the wooden coasters at Cedar Point. Most of them being old asf from the 30's, that were demolished long before I was alive. So I never got to ride those. And then there was Mean Streak which.... didn't have a good reputation and was RMCd into Steel Vengeance. So that leaves Blue Streak. And all I can say is that this ride is FREAKING AWFUL. I'm sorry if you like it, I stand by it. So what makes Blue Streak so bad? Well let's get into it. We first get into the PTC wooden coaster trains. Which, these are not well made. They're crampt, and the lapbar DIGS into your legs. So if you're riding with a larger rider, it's not gonna be fun. So the ride hasn't started yet and I already hate it. NOT A GOOD SIGN. We then head leave the station, and head up the lift hill. We then head down the first drop, I think there's airtime? I can't tell. This ride is too busy trying to send me back to the chiropractor for me to notice. And the worst part is, this ride is going SUPER fast. On most coasters, that would be awesome as it means you get airtime. But here, you're having your shins get crushed by those awful restraints while the ride tries to shake you around and bully you like that one girl did to me back in elementary school (Thanks for that Rachael). After going through several of these airtime hills, I wanted to get off. But sadly, we have to brace for that awful turnaround which makes you feel like you're in a car accident. You then have to brace for even more airtime hills as this ride goes at full speed. Continuing to beat the crap out of you as you scream "OW OW OW." Eventually, you hit the brake run. Thanking the lord that it's over. I'm honestly really sad to write this review. I did NOT expect to have this opinion on Blue Streak. It's a historic ride that on paper should be good. But you can tell that Cedar Point has not been taking care of it. Because now it's on the same level of rides as Manhatten Express before the 2022 refurb, Green Lantern, and Coast Rider. I never got to ride Mean Streak, but I imagine I'd like that ride more than this. At least Mean Streak looked to be smooth and was just boring. This was just brutal. I'd call for the wrecking ball, but like I said, it's a historic wooden coaster. And we all know how the OTHER Blue Streak turned out (F*CK YOU TODD JOSEPH). So if Cedar Point could, I'd love to see GCI or the Gravity Group come in and give this ride a makeover to make it good. Until then, I would NOT recommend riding Blue Streak unless you're a historic coaster nut or you're wearing lots of padding.
