Washington Park is located right in the downtown of Sandusky, OH. A park worth dropping by for a…read morescroll when you are in the area. It is beautifully set up/maintained and a lot of subject for good photo shots. But if you look into your surroundings more, you will notice the Park has so many historical fixtures which is quite interesting. It was established 1818, so 200 years of history! The Little Red Popcorn Wagon is open Monday thru Saturday from 11am-2pm throughout the summer. Proceeds from popcorn sales benefit the United Way of Erie County. There are also free guided tours offers by Erie County Historical Society, check their website for more details. For me it was such an enjoying walk at 10 am admiring the flowers, the clock and some photo taking!

Liberty Playground in Elmwood Park is so nice for children! All was cleaned and there was only two…read moremissing items to utilize the park fully. People were socially distanced at the park. The bathrooms were available near by however we didn't use them. There is a bicycle park as well for children called safety town. There were various slides; zip line, rock climbing and swings!

This mural is located in a little alley just off 4th Street, near the Brickyard, an outdoor amphitheater located in historic downtown Mansfield. You can park across the street in the free, public parking and then walk across the street to get to it. If you're still having a hard time finding it: Locate the carousel, and then look directly diagonal from that. You'll see an alley. That's where this mural is. The Greetings from Mansfield Ohio mural was created by Allison Pence, a resident artist in Mansfield. She has created many other murals around the city. In fact, I believe a couple more of her murals are in the same alley as this mural. So check them out!

This is a very nice park. It located deep within a residential neighborhood. There is plenty of…read moreroom for picnics and even a public event. There is just one portable public toilet here, so, if you have any event you would want to plan accordingly. The parking lots are in good condition, however, compared to the size of the park they are rather small. The neighborhood is quiet where the park is located. There is a mix of play equipment. Some classical slides and 'merry-go-round'. One slide is super tall. There is also a more modern play area. There is plenty of walking space. The ball field is in good condition for baseball and softball. When dry the fields should be fine for volley ball.

We love this hidden gem. Swingset, monkey bars, two slides and a merry-go-round tucked off of a…read morepaved walking/biking path and complete with picnic tables makes this a great place to play. The park is within walking distance of the library and also has a small basketball court and a baseball diamond (with bleachers and a drinking fountain). I love that it's so removed from the road--I can let the kids run up and down the hills without worrying about traffic. We spent time here as much as possible.
