Patients here aren't treated like people -- or even like paying customers. You will get more responsive care at a Planned Parenthood. If convenience is the only reason you're considering this office, save yourself the distress and go elsewhere. You shouldn't have to beg for healthcare especially when you're paying an expensive amount for it . Messages through the portal are ignored, calls are hung up on, and voicemails vanish into a black hole. I've seen patients in the waiting room crying and bleeding for hours with no one helping them. Routine appointments often run over an hour behind. If you book a 30-minute slot, block off at least two hours of your day. The nurses themselves are kind and good at their appt but the front desk and communication practices make accessing care a nightmare. Even for simple questions or referrals, you're forced into another full appointment with Dr Rush where yes- you get to spend a few more hours at the clinic begging for help! And Don't even get me started on the lab inside this clinic. You need one thing checked like iron? They will draw 7 tubes for everything and ask you inappropriate questions while they do so! Never again- i actually didn't even go back for my follow up lab work bc i don't care to be an example of sunk cost fallacy which is how i explain this clinic. When you get your labwork done they won't even share you the results without a headache. after leaving this clinic for good, i feel such a relief. You don't realize how awful it is until you find any other normal clinic or hospital. read more

I had Cedar Park women's center run hcg labs when I started having a sharp pain on one side after I found out I was pregnant and no line progression at home. My levels were low, so they did repeat labs. 2 days later, my hcg decreased by half so they told me I had a chemical pregnancy and test weekly until my hcg dropped to 0. The next week, my hcg doubled again. I had not one, but two nurses call me and tell me I was pregnant, and they would prescribe progesterone to support pregnancy, but that it might be an abnormal pregnancy. I had to explain twice that something wasn't right. I told them multiple times I believed it was an ectopic pregnancy, due to my hcg levels being all over the place, and the consistent sharp pain I had on my left side. They reassured me multiple times that this was not possible because I would be in more pain. I decided to get a second opinion, so I went to a new doctor who immediately ran repeat labs and saw my hcg had gone way up, so they got me in same day to do ultrasound and get me in to see a doctor. Turns out, it was an ectopic pregnancy, and thanks to the other doctor I was able to receive Methotrexate in time before my tube ruptured. I had been going to CP for years, but I am so glad I listened to my body and got the help I needed. I would not trust CP Women's Center. read more

Worst front desk EVER. For my whole life pretty much, I have gone to Dr Rush. I absolutely adore her but her front desk staff needs to be FIRED! I work in the medical field and would NEVER treat a patient the way I was treated right or wrong. I scheduled my appointment 6+ months ago (see screenshot #1) and was told over the phone and via email that my appointment was at 11:15 7/21/23. When I got the text message confirmations I didn't pay attention to the time because I had already confirmed it when making the appointment + the first email I got after making the appointment on the phone. Fast forward to this morning when I was trying to make it into my appointment, I couldn't find the office because I only come once every year or two, so I called the front desk and asked where I need to go to check in. Immediately the lady that answered said "Oh who are you? I was about to call and reschedule you. You're over an hour late, we can't see you now until the end of august." I proceeded to tell her about my email confirmation and she told me that I was definitely wrong because "Dr Rush doesn't take 11am appointments"... well why was I scheduled at 11? That's not good practice in the medical world to switch patients appointments and NOT call them and tell them. She said "WOOOOWWW" and hung up. I then left a voicemail on Susie, the practice manager, voicemail. She called me back and when I told her about my experience with her staff she then began to raise her voice and tell me that I was wrong as well. I told her that I have screenshots and she told me I could send them "if I'd like" and I told her that I would just come up and show her so we can talk about this civilly because obviously someone was confused. She yelled at me "DO NOT COME HERE. NO ONE IS HERE" and then hung up on me. I will NEVER be coming back here and I honestly fear for the women who are going through a hard time mentally that are trying to have children or trying to figure out how because they physically cannot. If you're going to work in this area in the medical field, learn how to have some damn compassion. You girls make me sick. read more

I phoned the office today to ask for an appointment with any gynocologist. I live near Cedar Park. I told them I am in need of a gynocologist. The person on the line told me "YOU WILL HAVE TO CALL BACK THE END OF AUGUST." Dr ... isn't taking any new patients. What would have been a professional response is to say is "May I put your name on our list so that when Dr. .... is taking new appointments, we can contact you." Where did common courtesy go? I had Dr. Rush care for me during my first pregnancy and have just returned as a patient for my second pregnancy! Although she did not get to deliver my first baby due to an emergency C-section and not being on call on that night, she will be delivering my baby girl for sure next year. I love that she is so knowledgeable and always so willing to listen to my concerns and ease my worries. Also, nurse Maria is AMAZING! She is so prompt in returning my calls and so easy going - she makes my visits so enjoyable. read more

I've only been going here for a little while, but I have a terrible fear of going to the doctor. The entire time I was there, I was crying hysterically and was very against sitting on the typical exam table. Both the nurse and Dr.Meadows were so sweet about my situation, going so far as to check in on how i was feeling every few minutes and bringing me tissues. They did a very thorough talk through with me of any issues I was having and immediately sent in orders for labs and ultrasounds. The ultrasound tech was also very sensitive to my situation and was careful to ask my consent for anything with no coercion. Only complaints are they don't accept secondary insurance and the front desk staff is very overwhelmed which affects how they interact with patients. Of course they are low staffed in these trying times so no real issue with that if you are looking for an amazing gyno! read more

EDIT: Nurse called ma and apologize. I feel better for her admitting it was a communication error and she didn't want to dismiss my complains. I'm still will do 3 stars because of the long waiting times. Seems like a recurrent issues based on the reviews. I would like to stay here, but honestly I'm too busy to wait so much every single time (I understand being late sometimes because emergencies happen but not EVERY single time). First let me start I like dr Meadows, She's kind and seems to know what she's doing. But she is chronically late. Every single time, 30-40-50 minutes late. I always book her first appoitment in the morning and even so she's late and there's a lot of people waiting in the waiting room. I think they book 2 or 3 patients at the same time. Then this week, I had a testosterone pellet inserted for the 4th time. This time I had something, an inflammation or something. I called today and talked to her nurse. Her usual questions went by and then: Did you ice it? Did you take some Iboprofen? No I didn't know what to to do thats why I'm calling. Her answer: then it's not that bad since you didn't take anything. I was shocked and was really caught off guard. Now I had some time to process and I realized this interaction was disgusting. You cannot deminshg my pain and suffering. It was bad enough for me to call you. The insertion place is warm, swollen and the redness is spreading. I will call back tomorrow for maybe some antibiotics but train your nurse in showing some empathy and to not disbelieve your patient's complains. read more

I've been going to Cedar Park Women's Center for a few years now. I have mixed feelings on how to rate this medical office. Here's the highs and lows for you: Highs: - Dr. Rush is a fantastic doctor. She's fantastic is a total 5 Star doctor. -The service is pretty fast. I'm usually in and out or my appointments. Usually from walking in the door to walking out is 30-45 minutes total. -The nurses are all lovely and so friendly! -I've never had a billing or payment issue. They also always tell you what services will cost up front if you need anything extra than your normal check up. Lows: -The reception area is unwelcoming. There's a big sliding glass window at the reception desk. It is always completely closed. When you check in, you just stand and stare at the frosted glass until someone notices you. It's very unwelcoming. -The front desk staff isn't the friendliest group of people. Many I have encountered always seem annoyed, especially if you have to ask a question. So the story goes...CPWC has a fantastic doctor but blah front desk people. read more

Why would I call and then recall to hear the same response? Stupid. Need to update bcbs info because it says they are accepting new clients but I definitely will never be one of them. If they're that rude on the phone I can only imagine what they're like in person. read more

While I really liked Dr. Rush, I could not say that about the receptionists and entry way. The reception area feels very closed off and unapproachable. The reception window is always closed, so if you walk in a no one notices youll be waiting there for a while. I dont really recommend this place to anyone. read more

I just had my first baby and started going to ARC at the begging. The nurses here are so amazing and very kind. I gave birth at the cedar park hospital and Dr Waller was amazing. Every single nurse I had made me feel good and were very helpful and encouraging. They communicated with each other and me very often. And always made me feel safe and my baby. They have everything you could possibly need and more. The food service was kind as well. I highly recommend here for mamas. read more

Worst front desk ever! They don't care urgent patients, they don't even know how to handle heavy bleeding pregnant!

I would like to start off by saying 2 things- 1. This is maybe my 3rd review ever writing as I do not like to say bad things about a business or practice, 2. Everyone I spoke to was extremely nice and I am so disappointed to be writing this. Let me set the scene: I made an initial appt to establish care about 3 weeks ago and it was supposed to be for next week. They called me last week and asked if I wanted to come in today and so I was already impressed and excited to come and hopefully find a new practice. I arrive at 7:57 (my own fault- I am always too early!) so I am waiting outside the door with one other patient who is not seeing the same dr as me. So I can confirm I was the very first patient to arrive for the day for that dr. I fill out my new patient paperwork and understandably that takes me a bit and so I am pushed back to at least 8:11 when I finish it. I'm not called back until around 8:25 to the room. Already a little annoyed but I understand. This isn't my first time at a dr office. I get into the room and go over history with the nurse (again, everyone was super nice), by 8:45 I'm angry. I'm already late for work and I just got done signing a $50 fee for no shows" policy. How am I going to be charged a no show fee if I don't show up but I just lost 2 hours of work by waiting this long? Finally by 8:55 I walk out. I have NEVER walked out of an appt before, but I have also never waited this long. I completely understand medical practices are unpredictable. Which is why I don't normally complain. But I was the FIRST patient of the day and it my FIRST visit ever to this practice. I am astounded that they prioritize patients this way. I heard at least 10 people check in for an 8am appointment and there are only 2 drs in the practice! Why would they schedule that many people at once?! Not to say I know everything that goes on behind the scenes or even with every other patient, but clearly something in the process is just not working. Oh and I forgot to mention that they never even told me that I wouldn't be seeing the Dr who I was supposed to see and would be seeing her fill in. Normally this wouldn't bother me- but I was there to meet the Dr and establish care. I just can't condone the disrespect and would advise you be cautious when going here. I'm sure everyone is extremely nice and professional, but it seemed very mismanaged and disrespectful. I am so disappointed as I really wanted to establish care here. read more

As another reviewer said, I'm likewise surprised at the lower ratings given by some reviewers here. I'm pregnant with my fifth child (the fourth to be delivered by Dr. Rush or Dr. Meadows), so I've been to this office dozens and dozens of times. Dr. Meadows ended up delivering one of my babies due to the timing of his arrival, and I have no complaints about her from that experience--she was delightful. Dr. Rush is my main OB/GYN, though, and I think she's awesome! I have referred many friends and acquaintances here, and to my knowledge they've all liked the doctors. About the doctor: Dr. Rush is professional yet friendly and enthusiastic. She sees embryos and fetuses in every stage of development every day, but she always manages to express excitement for the health of your individual baby and whatever stage of development it's in. Most importantly, she's a bright doctor. No matter what the outlier condition or unexpected situation, she remains calm, efficient, and expert in her care. She listens to you, never shows judgement, and she responds to needs and concerns with compassion and useful information. About the office: Sure, their reception desk has sliding glass doors on it, which apparently really bothers some people. Many things are simply a matter of personal preference. When I arrive, I just give the glass door a little tap, and they get you checked in. I think the doors provide privacy to the staff and patients alike when they're on the phone and checking patients out. It also makes the waiting room a quiet place to check email on your phone before you're called back for your appointment. The office is nice, clean, and sufficiently appointed. About the staff: I've seen many (if not all) of the nurses there, and they're wonderful. They're warm, efficient, and communicative. I experience extreme nausea during pregnancy (and have experienced a myriad of the other unpleasant symptoms that can come with the process before, during, and after), and I've always been treated with compassion and attentive care. The nurses are promptly responsive to the nurses's voicemail, and they've always worked with me to take care of prescription needs. The ultrasound technician is also great. She's warm yet professional, and she gives perfect explanations as she goes through ultrasounds. As others have mentioned, the front desk staff is busy and efficient, so you won't get a profusion of welcoming or other chitchat. I personally don't need gushing friendliness from the front desk staff, but I appreciate courtesy and efficiency. I've always felt like they're helping keep the office running smoothly and efficiently. read more

Wouldn't recommend this clinic to anyone. I had Dr. Meadows. I came here prior to getting pregnant with fertility meds. Gave the doc my full history and we talked about hormone support to sustain my pregnancy. She literally told me "Progesterone wont prevent MC, if you're going to MC, you're going to MC." She also told me that usually women have to have three MC before they'll do this. She proceeded to give it to me anyways. That was extremely upsetting and rude in my opinion to say to someone. She gives me progesterone. We discuss how I've previously MC and how I'm high risk- etc. Well, I find out I'm PG and I call. We had previously agreed on a viability US at 6 weeks. The nurse refused and said they were treating me normally and that an 8 week scan would be fine. She also called me and told me it was inappropriate for me to be taking the doses of progesterone I was taking and I needed to dose down. I explained to her that unless I had a scan and made sure there weren't multiple, I was uncomfortable doing so. They still refused to scan me or do more blood work. They literally called me and harassed me MULTIPLE times about this progesterone dosage. I was so uncomfortable being a pt of theirs. I called another OB in the area and switched immediately. TURNS OUT- IM HAVING TWINS AND MY DOSAGE WAS PERFECT! 0/10 would not recommend. - Also, she refused to refer me to a specialist. Which was not cool. read more

Frankly, I'm shocked that previous reviewers give this practice such a low rating simply for the reception area. I don't go to a dr for the waiting room, so my review is strictly based on the care I've received. Dr Rush is AMAZING. I had a terrible, terrible fear of doctors and Dr Rush's bedside manner consistently made me feel at ease. She is knowledgeable, calm, kind and honest. She listens to you and, in my experience, gives sound advice/feedback/answers that come from years of experience and a lifetime of caring. I had 2 babies in 2 years and she was such a joy to see every time I went in. I also had minor complications after my second baby and she performed a procedure for me on her lunch break-what a doll! The nurses are very sweet and Kellie and Paige are 2 of the best I've ever encountered. The front office girls, I'll be honest, did take some warming up, but if you are consistently friendly and polite they are too. Now, I love seeing them and they are hilarious and kind. I've never had a billing issue- or any issue- with the office staff. If you're looking for a great OB, dr rush is your gal. If you want a fancy office, go to Westlake. read more

The intake process was standard, nothing great or bad. The medical assistant, Maria, was quite lovely, the high point of the whole visit actually. It was my first time to meet Dr. Rush. I didn't get a sense of ease from her, nothing horrible but just meh. I am a health professional myself but don't specialize in gyn issues for women in their 40's so had some questions. I didn't feel that asking questions was entirely welcome. The rest of the exam, etc. was fine. The lab tech came to the room to draw blood, she was courteous and pleasant. When I checked out the lady handed me a sheet of paper with recommended vitamin doses, to wear seatbelt, etc., basically general health guidelines. I declined the paper and was given a dirty look by her, this sealed the deal for me. Won't be going back. read more

The WORST office I have ever been to! The receptionist and management are terrible! Waited a month for my first prenatal appointment and was SO excited to get my first ultrasound only to be turned away and told I needed to reschedule due to lack of proper communication on their end where I was sent a confirmation text about my appointment and got there even a littler earlier then i was suppose to and told it was wrong and they needed me to reschedule for a week later, I sat there crying in disbelief and they did not have a single care in the world! Another woman there heard me talking and she had the SAME problem and had to reschedule her appointment! If you choose to go here good luck! read more

Office is clean. Nursing staff nice. When you enter it is very closed off. They open window, hand paperwork and immediately close the window back. Once back they were efficient with vitals and then it took over 60 min for the doctor to be seen. No indication that there would be a long wait. Doctor did a quick exam and then left. Let me be clear this is actually a NEGATIVE 5 stars. So first I wait an HOUR for Dr.Rush; yes I had an appointment. Then, she wanted to fly through my appointment, she quickly stated some of my info and said no birth control ok let's do the pap. I asked if we could go over things, she said oh, you have questions plopping back down in her chair, annoyed. I was attempting to try and get some dingostic work done to confirm why I am in debilitating pain for more then half the month every month and it's getting worse with time, yes I said these words to her. She said she won't do a surgery to confirm endometriosis unless they have to (I dont really understand when you have too isn't sever reoccurring pain and symptoms enough?) After I declined hormones she treated me as if I was a drug seeking idiot. She began using medical terminology, instead of the average person talk doctors do so you can follow, sense you know, I don't have an MD but luckily I have done enough googling on my issues that I followed well enough but the fact that she sat there condescending me as if I was some 15 year old with her first cramp was beyond rude it was unprofessional. She proceeds to tell me that I just get to live with this pain just spend 16 + days a month on my couch in severe pain because she won't give me narcotics, like I asked? (The answer is no) I even told her I prefer not to do pharmaceuticals I just want to know if we can run some tests To try and figure out what is wrong with me? No nothing. I don't know if she had a bad day didn't like me from the 10 min we talked or what but her behavior sent me home in tears to my husband because I got no answers and wasn't even treated like a person no respect, no sympathy, no answers, nothing. This is not the care I'm used to, but I'm from a different state.. she should have asked further questions or if I've been tracking symptoms to try and figure out what's wrong with me she just assumed she knew and didn't care didn't DO HER JOB "do no harm" must also mean "don't help" please ladies go anywhere else if you want to find a good doctor I will be seeking a different doctor.. Not to mention my actual pap was not what I'm used to where they kind of feel around push on your pelvic etc and make sure your ok she just stuck a qtip in and called it good!? Oh and apparently there's no way to contact a person higher up with complaints so maybe someone will see this feel free to reach out for further information. read more

Took my daughter for a check. We arrived 15 minutes early as requested but since our appointment was the first after lunch, we had to wait until the the doors opened. They take a lunch break. We waited 45 minutes before being called back even though we were the first of two to arrive. I asked the front desk person about the wait at which time she became a little aggressive and defensive. She never let me finish a sentence and reminded me no less than three times that there are two doctors in the practice. After waiting more time and watching patients called back I complained again. This time the office manager interrupted and gave me the same talking points. She was extremely rude, unnecessarily combative and defensive. In the end she turned her back and walked away. My daughter loves Dr. Rush. The office staff leaves a lot to be desired. read more
