I bought new luggage in 2017 but only got the under the seat soft sided carryon instead of a hard case. I love it and it's going nowhere but I realized I needed a bigger carryon with a hard shell. My larger Samsonite is a dark hard shell so I thought why not!l it's easily matched. Well, I go to the Samsonite Warehouse to ask when the next sale will be and found their Warehouse Store would open in a few days right behind the warehouse. When I visited they had so many models I was like a kid in a candy shop. I was testing the pull bars, taking the bags for several spins around the store and once a bag passed that test I checked the inside. Why did I walk out with a carryon and medium bag, the price was definitely right too! The staff was so helpful, after doing a lot of looking I finally asked what she recommended and it actually came down to two of the bags. I don't know if I bought what I bought because I love purple or because the front compartment of the carryon opens to easily access my electronics. I would recommend you go in knowing the style you want if you don't want to spend 30-45 minutes in there. They have backpacks(going back for one), duffles, European and so many more styles. Definitely worth a stop.

We had won the bag in a raffle, and it is expensive to replace (about $200). So I took it down to Luggage Service to see if it could be repaired. The owner was there and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He understood the issue immediately and explained my options. Instead of recommending the most expensive fix (replacing the entire zipper), he recommended permanently attaching the cover to the bag with a piece of leather at the detachment point where the zipper was broken ($30). He said that it's the most economical option and would make the zipper more "boy proof." He said to leave it with him and it would be done in a couple of hours. When I returned a couple of hours later, the bag was behind the counter and his daughter greeted me as soon as I walked in. If you go onto their website, the business has an incredible 107 year history in Tampa with several photos of how the company grew over the century and the historic buildings they occupied. She and I talked about that for a few moments as she cashed me out. Before you throw out a damaged bag or suitcase, consider Luggage Service Repair! They also have a huge selection of luggage and other types of bags for sale in their showroom.

The couple that works on leather in the back prides themselves on being leather experts however a few leather projects that they actually charged me a lot have been mediocre at best. you can see that some leather was cut like a two years old did it and the stitching in some places was crooked its like they were in a rush of doing it. Also an older gentleman (not sure i think he is the original owner) is not very nice and couple of times he barked that something not worth fixing or he made remarks that he will not use a certain zipper (later it was perfectly done by another person) So at first this shop was ok but it went downhill with other projects. Like the very last order was horrible and when i came to pick it up i asked for a different zipper pull (which they promised in the first place) and the guy who works in the back with no patience acted so mad that he almost threw the leather piece on the counter. They also when they first tell you about your order and make you pay upfront but then a few other times they switched the details and never called doubt it. For example one luggage piece we talked about a certain leather color for the handle but when i came to pick it up it was a different leather (it was close to the one i picked and i didn't say anything) but they did not even bother to call me to inform about it. Unless it is a warranty project i would avoid this place at all costs. I actually found another company with much nicer people.

I called beforehand to double-check that they would be open, and the person who answered the phone was very helpful. We were bringing back a suitcase that broke after only 2-3 uses and was recently purchased at a different location. When we arrived, the manager greeted us, was very friendly and professional, and quickly resolved our issue. One thing I LOVED about this store was that they had signs all over reminding everyone to wear masks PROPERLY. After seeing so many people that busy Saturday with either no mask or masks below their noses walking around outside in the outlet, their attention to the safety of their customers was very nice to see. They even had signs on bright paper clearly stating that noses must be covered with masks - THANK YOU! I wish the rest of the stores and the outlet itself would post similar signs and ensure that all customers were wearing masks, and wearing them properly. This store also had hand sanitizer available for customers. Thank you, Samsonite!

The man who pressured us into purchasing a totally mis-measured, cheaply made, floor model suitcase (for $25 more than you can get it on-line) refused to give us the Military discount because it "would involve too much paperwork." This same man, Akeem, did not inform us that all sales (not just floor models) are final. Now they are playing a game where some fictitious "regional manager" in Orlando (the Orlando staff denies that Luggage Factory has regional Managers) will call us back to settle the dispute. My recommendation is to avoid this store at all costs; but if they do succeed in pressuring you into purchasing some of their exotic junk-luggage, rather than wasting your time and being further abused, dispute the purchase with your credit card company or file a small claims action. These people are really shady! UPDATE: Sameet from the Orlando Store called and authorized the refund. The girl at the Wesley Chapel Outlet location couldn't have been nicer about processing it quickly. The warning still stands, if you are getting terrible, abusive customer service just leave! As for the merchandise, you can get the same or similar luggage for less money on-line.

This was NOT my understanding when I purchased this bag. The lady working in the store told me "this is the only time of the year I don't like working here". Apparently this store has a history of pulling this trick on customers. We asked to talk with the owner but were told "they are on vacation this week" Isn't that convenient this week after Christmas? A lot of negative comments all over for all the outlets I found in St Johns, Mandarin, Orange Park, etc. Further digging into the reviews suggested that for doing boots, Gus had better overall record and their 100+ years in business suggested they must be doing something right to stay in business paying for the lights and rent so long. I brought my boots in two days ago and the gentleman looked them over and agreed, new toe and heal tabs and new heels. I paid the man and was told it would be done within a week. Cash payment got a little discount too! Today I received a text that the boots were ready and I returned to the store. The boots were repaired very well, shined and happy camper here. Beyond that, I was impressed by several observations. First, they are unlike some stores I've seen with one person surrounded by piles of stuff, often unrelated to the shoe business. Two people were working there when I visited which suggests they get more than enough business to keep them busy and people must be coming back, repeat business. Also, the store was all about shoes with good selection of things one may want to care for leather and shoes. For me, looking for a shoe repair shop, this place is aces and I will be back.
