It's a grilled chicken breast with shrimp. They serve it on a bed of mushrooms, onions, bell peppers and melted cheese. On a second plate, it is served with rice, beans, salad and tortillas. It was so much food, I could not clean my plate. The chicken breast and shrimp were excellent. They were seasoned and grilled perfectly. Honestly, when I order it the next time, I may tell them to hold the second plate, except for the tortillas. The service is always good and when it's super busy, I don't mind sitting at the bar. Being a single diner, I hate tying up a table or booth when they could sit a larger group. Arandas is on the backside of my subdivision, I can easily walk there. I'm going to check and see if their new patio is dog friendly. If so, my fur-baby and I may become regulars.

The batter covering the catfish was very thin, so the true flavor of the river fish came through. I was totally satisfied. I kinda wish I would have gotten fries, too, but the fritters did fill me up for a small lunch. Everything at O-Jan's is made to order, so it is super fresh. If you don't have patience to wait a few extra minutes for quality fried fish, you may want to elsewhere. O-Jan's is a cash only establishment, so be sure to have your Hamilton's or Jackson's ready. You'll order at a small window on the side porch, they'll call your name when it is ready and you can enjoy it on one of their picnic tables, or go on your merry way. Upon my first trip up to the buffet, I was a bit surprised to see that literally not one item on that buffet had changed in the past 7 years. At 11 am with a very light crowd present, all of the food was cold, completely unacceptatble having only opened at 10:30 am! Honestly I think the General Tso was the only item I had that was luke warm besides my bowl of soup. Many of the buffet dishes appeared to be leftover from the previous evening - - a good cook can tell what's fresh vs. leftover. The crab ragoons were tough and chewy a telltale sign of having been reheated. The egg rolls appeared to be refried as they were exceptionally dark brown in color. Literally no one was touching them either. The "fresh" seasoned green beans were all shriveled up. The lo mein noodles were swollen, having clearly soaked up all the juices/sauce from being stored and re-served. I think you get the picture here. I guess one might get food that is fresh and warm after all the leftovers have been eaten up by the victims dining at opening time. Good luck with your experience. I got charged $7.98 for 2 orders before taxes. They charged 3.99 a order . That's 20 cents more than it was supposed to be. That adds up over time. To me that's false advertising. And they also charge 3 percent on ALL cards . They are not supposed to charge a debit card a percentage. That is not legal. I will not be returning to this restaurant anymore. Just wanted to let people know please watch out for your funds.
