Wife and I decided to try Kahuna's while in the area and it did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and efficient, clearly not their first rodeo. Despite being busy, food was served in about 10 minutes. She got a single cheeseburger meal and I got the Pipeline meal. The burger patties are smash style and were grilled to perfection with lots of fresh beef flavor. The buns (brioche?) taste like they're butter grilled and they really added to the flavor. My Pipeline included 2 patties, pepper jack cheese, grilled onions, bacon, and chipotle mayo. What a great combo. The bacon was paper thin but was enough to add that signature smoky saltiness to the cheesy beefiness. The chipotle mayo played well without overpowering the other flavors. The fries were standard crinkle fries but they were fried to perfection, hot and crispy and well seasoned (salt). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was typical fast food style casual with tables indoors and outdoors.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Unfortunately, we must have arrived shortly after the Little League games finished. They were quite busy and tables were somewhat scarce indoors.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]A previous patron had spilled a drink on the table, leaving the entire table a sticky mess and we had arrived just in time to get the full experience. No worries. We grabbed some wet paper towels and wiped it down ourselves and then were able to enjoy our meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All in all, we really enjoyed it. Kahuna's is at the top of our list for burgers in the area and we hope to return.

    Nice division in dining area.

Our food was all amazing! We had Wipe Out burger, Patty Melt a small order of Loaded Volcano and Breaded Mushrooms. Loaded Volcano- almost like fair food ribbon fries, only 100 times better and fresh. Breaded Mushroom were great. Full fresh mushrooms lightly breaded. We picked Kahuna sauce and garlic parasmean. Both were good. Garlic probably our favorite. Burgers were cooked perfect. Sauce, cheese and toppings add great flavor. It is counter service and they bring food out to table. Staff friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Decor is Hawaiian based, a fun twist for such a rural area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

My family and I loved our visit to Kahuna's Burgers! The staff were all super nice and very helpful during our Friday afternoon lunch visit. We all ordered something different from their extensive menu. I HAD to try those fried mushrooms and they were as advertised.... DELICIOUS!!! My niece had a chicken quesadilla and my brother in law had the pipeline burger. Everyone enjoyed their food choices. I even had a hot fudge sundae! It was yummy and perfect! I highly recommend checking out this restaurant if you are passing thru or in Greenville, IL!! I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The tiki bar decor is really cute & fun![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Kahuna Burger: Best burger find off of Highway 70 and it's located in Greenville, IL! I ordered the Pipeline Burger which is a double burger with pepper jack cheese, grilled onion, crispy bacon, and chipotle mayo on top of a toasted brioche bun! I made my order a meal and added their mouthwatering crinkle cut fries and a chocolate shake. The chocolate shake was phenomenal! There is plenty of seating inside as well as on their large patio. If you are in a hurry, there is a drive-thru option as well. Make sure to stop at Kahuna Burger off of Highway 70 instead of a fast food chain!

While coming back from St. Louis Missouri, our daughter insisted we stop by at this restaurant in Greenville Illinois. Their burgers are outstanding meat is never frozen. They had a lot of options on the menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Was very busy because they have a great reputation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would Definitely go back again!!

Can't believe they would serve their food like this in a to go order. It looks like they fell apart and knowing it's a to go order, they just threw them in. Disappointing.

Outdoor seating next to the Kahuna's parking area includes overhead lighting and a stage!

An excellent find as we drove down I-70. A nice local burger option. The person behind the counter recommended the Pipeline Burger with double patties, grilled onions, bacon and chipotle Mayo. I wish the sauce was house made but the burger was good. Cool family vibe. Very friendly service. Would happily return! Also... EXCELLENT outdoor seating area!

It was a blend of vanilla custard, fresh strawberries and hard-shell chocolate. It looked so delicious in the clear plastic cup, all three of the ingredients were swirled together. I would have taken a picture to capture the beauty, but with the high temperatures I just started to devour my sweet treat. I was sitting on their spacious patio, so it was melting fast and I was trying to eat it as quickly as it was melting. I would have preferred to been able to slowly eat it and truly enjoy the rich flavor of the custard and strawberries. However, sipping on the melted custard with the chunks of chocolate, did make for a nice treat, too. I'm coming back to try some of the food. The inside dining room was filled with senior citizen couples enjoying lunch. If it's good enough for them, I am confident I'll enjoy it, too. The young staff working the service window were friendly and very professional. They've been trained well, in providing quality customer service.

Instead, it was a very enjoyable breakfast. I ordered, The Livy which was, one egg, choice of protein, hash browns and toast. I choose bacon as my protein. Their menu proudly promotes that the bacon and sausage is from local farmers. Trust me when I tell you, the bacon was very delectable. It could have been crisper, but the flavor made up for the lack of crispiness. I choose not to take the toast with my breakfast entree, because I also ordered a half size of Biscuits and Gravy. The biscuit was not made it house, its shape was too perfect. However, the gravy with chunks of locally sourced sausage made it a true comfort dish. The gravy was a semi-thick milk gravy and it wasn't overly seasoned with salt and had the right amount of pepper. Trying to watch my sodium intake, I like it when chefs are light handed when shaking the salt into a recipe. The atmosphere is like stepping back into the 50's. You truly will feel as if you left the sock hop and stopped by the local soda shop for a bite. I'll give you a heads up, the outside is junky with a lot of weird stuff. Ignore the decor on the outside and head straight into the diner for a good home cooked meal. The service was impressive. One waitress was taking care of the entire small dining room. I over heard her tell another table, that she was relatively new. Being new, she did a great job. She was attentive and very personable. Her service alone would get me to come back.
