Great food! The service was awesome. We had the baklava, hummus, and a coney dog. The food was well prepared. The waitress and the cook were both very attentive and polite. I highly recommend the Cedar Grill. read more

Mediocre food. Chicken was dry. Salad had way too much dressing. It was ehhh OK. Nothing great but not horrible.

AMAZING! Authentic Lebanese food worth every penny! Staff are very helpful, friendly and polite. My new favorite spot!

Love the food!! Best Mediterranean food ever!!! Falafels, babaganoush, hummus, tabouli salad!!! Everything sooo flavorful! And their baklava is vegan!!!! It would be nice to have the place upgraded though. We could use a little beautification on this place! Inside and out. Anyways, food is great! read more

Gyro is very good. Music is very bad. People are very good. Fries are very alright. Chicken is very good.

Great pricing. Falafel, gyros, & hummus all good. Staff was quick & friendly. This is a good little Mediterranean place but it doesn't go above & beyond. Good for a quick bite if you're in the area. read more

Wonderful food and fantastic service! The food was right temperature amd veey authentic Greek and Lebanese with a hometown touch. I have eaten here before and it never disappoints. read more

Friday night. Movie next door. I was wondering why it was only half full (optimism beyatches)....waitress was the elusive combo of inconsiderate and she didn't care! Won't go back regardless of how late we are for the movie. Oh yeah, food was fine. Dining experience was not. read more

Eeeck... I can't believe I was at the same place as some of the people who left reviews!! The food was a tacky rendition of Lebanese food. The baba ganooj, I provably spelled that wrong, tasted like jarred tahini. It was awful. The beef was decent. Everything they served was sloppy and strangely paired. I hate to be so critical, however I was thrilled about the idea of a Lebanese dive in clermont. Needless to say my dream was crushed. Overall the staff were friendly, but you go out for the food, not for smiles. My husband and I were sorry we went. read more

I agree with Ron. Arrived for lunch at 12:30pm on a Thursday and there was very little lamb meat left on the spindle. Slices were very thin and only enough to stretch it for our party of three. I was told they were going to pile it on. Not so much. Our server was friendly and I over-heard her tell an owner/manager/cook that she forgot to tell him to "pile it on" for me. He made no effort to reach out to me. He must have been satisfied with what he served. Maybe he had my best interest in mind with portion control. Gyro tease. read more

Very expensive for tasteless quality! Saw some good reviews on this place and figured we'd try it. We ordered the chicken kebab with rice and got the garlic sauce on the size. The only thing good about that meal was the sauce unfortunately. Really wanted to like it, but the chicken was completely flavorless and very dry and not as authentic as I would've thought. Also one can of soda for $3.00! Rip off! read more

I used to order here weekly. Prices were good and they were very close. Food was usually good. I recently stopped going here for several reasons. 1. Never have a delivery driver 2. Cashier was also prepping food, waiting tables and answering phones simultaneously with NO GLOVES 3. Food is never done by pick up time 4. Chicken is tough 5. Stopped serving good curly fries 6. Owner is never smiling read more

I've been picking up food from here about twice a week spending around 35$ each time and they continue to mess up my order. Last time they forgot to give me salad dressing and I had to drive back to get it. I've repeatedly picked up food from here because it's the only Mediterranean place around but they continue to mess up my order and today was literally the 5th time they forgot the dressing. I called them to inform them the dressing was once again forgotten and my order was once again wrong and they didn't offer me any reimbursement for my 35$ meal. I'm from New York typically a business would offer to come deliver your order correctly after making a mistake. I hate to have to write this because I did like this place but they are extremely incompetent. Half the time I go in there it's a bunch of middle schoolers working and they are just starting to make my food, when I call half an hour before and they tell me it will be ready in ten minutes. I wouldn't recommend getting take out or really anything from here. read more

Cedar Grill Clermont - Questionable hummus - Burgers Near Me - Clermont, Florida

Simple and non-descript. Seems more like a casual burger joint than a place of middle eastern cuisine - oh yes, it's that too! Located next to the movie theater it's a convenient place to get a bite to eat. We went the middle eastern route getting a veggie sampler consisting of baba ghanoush, tabouleh and hummus. Pita was cut up in small pieces. Chicken shawarma and tawook were our entrees. None was anthing to write home about. Both chicken dishes were on the dry side. Unfortunately for them we had recently discovered Taboon Bistro (which I rated SIX stars) so there's no comparison here. Cedar Grill is good enough that if we were in the neighborhood we may make it one of our dining choices but I wouldn't go out of my way to go there. read more

I only gave it 1 star because I did not have an option for less!! Most of my family is Lebanese and therefore I've been blessed to eat AMAZING food my entire life. I've also lived all over the country and pretty much eat anywhere that serves Lebanese food. When I ate at Cedar Grill the first time I ordered the chicken Schwarma. It was HORRIBLE. The Chicken Schwarma consisted of dry chicken wrapped up with NO SAUCE, (chicken Schwarma is a classic for its AMAZING strong garlic sauce) pickles and extremely dry, thin pita. It was horrendous. I pretended I wasn't hungry and promised I would never go back. Well, peer pressure led to my visiting the restaurant again. I remembered the horrendous Schwarma, so I decided to order Shish Kabob. I mean, how can any middle eastern or Mediterranean restaurant mess that up???! Haaa. The meat was DRY DRY DRY! The rice was NOT LEBANESE! Lebanese rice is known for its vermicelli toasted noodles mixed in with the rice, which has oil and is VERY WELL seasoned. What I received instead was unseasoned parboiled rice!!! BLEHHH. Just to make sure I had a "wonderful" experience they served old lettuce that was wilted and soggy tomatoes for my salad. Also, a friend of mine ordered hummus and offered me to try some. It was CLEARLY not fresh or homemade. And it came with fried pita chips that tasted like they had soaked in oil for 2 days before being fried. Completely disgusting!! I will NEVER go back. Cedar Grill is a horrible excuse for a restaurant let alone one calling itself a Mediterranean/Lebanese restaurant. It is OVER priced as well. Save your time, money and taste buds. read more

Great falafel, great houmous, the baba ghanoush is authentically chunky. But if you go, go for the pita chips. Holy crap...the pita chips. And when you think you cant eat any more pita chips, get some to go. read more

Food was good but portions small and overpriced. Had the gyros and fries 'special' for $8.99 - tasted good but very skimpy on the meat.

5 stars for the best fresh Mediterranean food I've had outside of the Northeast. All fresh and made onsite. Great Gyro, hummus, garlic dip and shawarma! Loved my chicken shawarma. (Grilled chix, garlic spread, pickles in a pita wrap) It's a small and unassuming place by the movie theater, family owned and operated. The falafel and tabbouleh looked good too, Give them a try! read more

The Greek salad with lamb meet was great. Food is priced well and high quality. Great service.

Great setup. They are trying to improve the taste of the food. It's definitely better than when they opened. And I will continue going there. A nice taste from Lebanon I wish that they sell sweets I mean the real Lebanese sweet. Good luck guys. read more

This is a good try from the owners to have a restaurant but lakes in some key areas. First the food was ok it's wasn't bad but also it wasn't great either. Over the top pita off citrus tower blvd has the best gyros in town hands down. Cedar is mediocre at best. This will be our only trip here at Cedar as we wanted to try it out and won't be visiting this restaurant again due to the food and so many errors from the staff on ordering. The staff was very nice. read more

I had the chance to meet the owners (husband and wife) and they were some of the sweetest people I have ever met! The food was excellent and they went as far as to show me how all of their food is made fresh and they had me try some home-made samples! Great experience and I would highly suggest them to everyone I know! read more

One of my favorite places to eat in Clermont. Everything taste freshly prepared and the meats are seasoned and cooked perfectly. The location is great as well if you want an after movie meal or want something to munch on at WOB. Try the baba ghanouj and grape leaves! read more

I was super excited to come and try the falafel sandwich, but it didn't really meet my expectations. However, my sister got the chicken schwarmma sandwich and it was AMAZING! Also, the hummus and pita chips were delicious. I would go back for sure! read more

Chicken Shawarma is amazing! Hint: add grilled onion and feta cheese to make it an inclusively Mediterranean tasting wrap. Hummus is also very delish. Staff/Owners are very friendly and helpful. They always have top hits music playing which makes for an ideal younger-crowd-ambiance read more

I loved the shishkebab tenderloin sandwich! Tender, and generous portion. Also had babaganoush also delicious! The service was friendly and efficient. The owner who had just returned from Michigan with a box of assorted Baklava generously envied my partner and to to choose our favorites! I will be returning soon to try their scrumptious looking burgers! Best of luck. read more

Really great food. Owners are from Michigan and we can tell - feels like home! The hummus with meat was amazing. The small portion is large - enough for a full table! Nice people. read more

Very good food. Never had this type before will eat again. Recommend it for anyone wanting to grab something easy and different

It's a nice place to get some quick food. The service was okay. The food was very good. I had the veggie wrap and the strawberry, banana smoothie which they both were very good. One of my friends had the burger which was ok (not the best place to go for a burger). I would recommend this place and will be returning. read more

The food tastes as good as it looks! You can tell it's fresh and all employees including management is very friendly! Must try the Baklava for dessert! read more

Cedar Grill Clermont - Burgers Near Me - Clermont, Florida

The restaurant was dirty and they didn't have the air conditioning on to save money. The service was slow and I found the whole place felt dirty. The entrées are overpriced and "are not like the pictures". Skip this place and head to a chain restaurant nearby. read more

I was so excited when I saw this place. Mediterranean food... in Clermont? Wow! Not! We ordered the gyros and we both were so disappointed in them. The pita was going on the stale side, the meat was on the more abundant side but the rest was barely there. We also ordered Hummus (how can you not?) well it was fair to good, and it didn't come with enough sliced pita to finish it. Maybe the quality wasn't there because the restaurant was so new... but judging by the reviews, I don't think we are alone in our observations. read more

Great place, great family and awesome food! I went when I was visiting my parents...my mom and I both got the chicken gyro and my dad got the meat gyro. Delicious! On top of that, I forgot my camera ... a $800 Canon dSLR at Cedar Grill after our meal. 4 days later when I was packing to go home, I couldn't find my camera. I panicked. I called Cedar Grill and they still had it! I couldn't believe it! What a spectacular family and such friendly, good hearted people. THANK YOU!!! Will definitely be back!! read more

Best place in town for Mediterranean. I went out of my way for this since I was disappointed by what Orlando had to offer. Good decision. The chicken shawarma was as good as back home in michigan. My kids had burgers and gyros. They were happy. read more

Gyro was incredible. So much meat packed in and not too much sauce. The onions were a little overdone, but no question it was one of the best I have had. To top it off, the have incredible curly fries. Great stuff, I recommend it. read more

Paid $70 for door dash to deliver a container of dry, nasty meat that had hard chunks in the beef and cartalidge in the chicken. It was bland and the "platter" literally came with meat and pita bread. They also forgot to send our humus. Wouldn't have paid $10 bucks for the whole thing and will NEVER buy from there again. read more

Horrible, tasteless, and expensive food. So disappointed. When we called to complain about the order, the falafel being one of the items, the owner actually said "you're not the first person to complain". It was very dry and not edible. (Actually choking quality). The tabbouli was the only thing in our order that was good. read more

Terrible food. Tasteless. Not authentic. Don't come near this place. Waitress said the tabouli is freshly made, that's a lie.

I was excited about A Mediterranean food joint in my neighborhood but I was quickly disappointed. Can't see any of the food everything is behind the glass sneeze guard and covered. The falafel is from a box and you have to buy a half-dozen at a time. The fatuosh salad has Italian dressing on it. They're playing country music. Not getting a lot of Lebanese-feel from this place. The hummus and baba ghanouj was good. And the staff was great but that's pretty much the only nice things I can say. Sorry but two thumbs down. read more

How disappointing! I was very excited to see a mid eastern restraunt in Clermont, but the food was lousy. I had a wrap that was stale and the lamb was bland, the humus and pita bread tasted store bought and the tabolli was average. read more
