I am happy to write a positive review as most are negative. The facilities are good. The range is nice, the golf balls are better than normal quality. The course looks nice although I've never played it. The positive review comes from the gentleman in the pro shop who answered my phone call and sold me a bucket of golf balls. Many times people who work in a pro shop are jerks. At this club, I felt kindness, helpfulness, and someone who really was happy to help. That is rare. Thank you for being nice to people! Where else can you play a course as mature and well kept for 33 bucks including cart... I bought a small bucket got a total of $38... If this course was in the suburbs you'd pay $60+, no doubt!! One of the best deals in DFW. read more

This is a great golf course! Only complaint is their refusal to sell hot dogs without forcing you to also buy a drink and fries with it. They have definitely lost out on business from us! What golf course doesn't let you buy just a hot dog on the turn? Ridiculous! read more

Excellent facility. The course is absolutely great! Extremely slow play and no Marshall available to speed things up. Played over 3 1/2 hours and was only on hold 13 when we gave it up. So i traveled from Florida and played there a few months ago for the first time it's been bothering me to say about this place but the course was in wonderful shape an i give props to the maintenance crew. But i didn't like how i saw things being managed. So in the club house i notice all the merchandise was up charged than what the products are really supposed to be. Also the range basket are so small for what they charge for those tiny things and the food oh my god talking about getting so little for your buck he'll i can goto a high end restaurant and get bigger and more food for the price they charged. The burger was smaller than my hand and the little fries they gave didn't help either. Spent almost $10 for a McDonald's kids meal. Also i go pass the cart barn i see the guy that's operating the golf shop pulling and washing cart in a dead moment and i asked him if the had a cart guy he told me no they don't have hardly any besides 1 cart guy because the manager trying to be cheep and not hire no one which doesn't make sense to me because that's unheard of for a golf that's so called a busy play like it was that day. So at the end of the round I asked the assistant how much would it be to have a shirt ordered plus shipping if i wanted to order something out of Curiosity the young man said the cost of the shirt with logo fee plus $18 shipping which i thought why is shipping $18 for standard 7 day shipping for a shirt when usually it's between $3-$6 and again i go back to what people told me the manager up changes and screw people out of the money. So right as i was talking to a gentleman who says he's a regular out at the course since the 90's before the new manager took over a few years ago. So I told him my name and first time here playing the course and i told him i love the course but what's up with the management and prices the man told me the manager changed his way over the years and his ego getting high out of control. So bad he treat his current employees bad to were there stressed over all the over work there doing with little help and the staff is small. he said he fired good workers and made false allegations about those people when they left even to there other employers and that he called the police on him and his buddies who been playing there for years, for practicing in the practice area an hanging out and the police told them they had to leave for trust passing on private property but he said they wasn't confronted by the manager about them having to leave until the police showed up telling them to leave cus the manager said they needed to leave but he said the manager never came told them anything. Then he told me the manager then came around and told the officer that there the trust passers and i want them off the property for doing nothing wrong which i can see was a huge lie and i don't know the guy but to say was my first day there and management is like that with its new customers and loyal customers who's been there years and treat current and former employees like that gentleman told me. Don't look like I'm playing there again for the second time until under new management next time I'm back in town. read more

Great course that's in a shitty part of town. Still worth a trip though. I recommend coming in from 35 and take the Illinois St exit rather than coming from I45 and taking the MLK exit. read more

I went to Cedar Crest Golf Course with another guy about a week ago and we set up to play 18. When we got there, a staff member asked us if we could put our clubs outside.. Of course we said yes and followed the request. After we finished paying, we went out of the building to put our clubs in the golf cart; but my golf partner's clubs were no where to be found/missing! After about 10 minutes of panic, we asked the other golfers if they had moved a bag or seen someone move it and they said no. Confused we went inside to tell the staff and the staff member that told us to put the bags there came outside and told us, "Read the sign." The sign stated, "We are not responsible for lost or stolen Materials." At this point we were frantic in finding the clubs. The guy i was playing with just bought a new driver so we were very concerned. After about 25 minutes trying to figure out what to do, with the other golfers helping. we decided to search the premise. We looked in all the sheds around the area that were open and finally when we were headed to the last shed, a staff member came around in a golf cart and told us that he put the golf carts in the farthest shed! I was shocked at these events. I rarely ever do reviews but i felt it necessary to let the public know to be careful of your belongings at this course. The quality of the course is very nice, but I do not know if i will ever go back because of this rough experience. When we got the bag back we went to the range and proceeded to practice, and a staff member drove up and offered my buddy a free draft beer!... I do not want a free beer! Him Either! That was a major error and they offered him a draft beer, not even a bottle beer, but A DRAFT BEER! at this point, we were asking each other if we wanted to play a different course but since it was such a long ordeal we decided to put our heads down and finish it out. Again, despite the nice quality of the course, i am not sure if i will ever go back- if i do, i will not put my clubs further than arm-reach. Played here for the first time today. Really good course and in very good condition. The greens are fantastic. Walked 18 holes in 3 hours and it only cost $20. Great value. I'll be back read more

I come here to use the driving range and every now and then I use the course. I love this place.
