We played nonstop for 2.5 hours. We ordered a big platter of food that lasted the whole session. It's entertainment venue food, but honestly good for what it is. The service really stood out though. Even though we had an assigned server, multiple staff members checked on us throughout the night. When it started pouring rain, someone immediately came by and moved us to a bay with a tarp. Super attentive and very appreciated. Such a fun time. I'm already planning to get the summer fun pass so I can work on my swing.

When I first started playing at the age of 13,you could buy an annual pass for a ridiculous price. This allowed you to play as much as you wanted for a year. Boy,did my friends and I play! At the time, this was one of around 6 public courses owned and maintained by the City of Dallas. All were beautiful municipal golf courses that would never be built today. Over the decades they faded and became less well maintained until the city decided to "farm" out ownership and maintenance to a private firm. All of the courses including Stevens Park were closed and redesigned and are now better than ever. I'm glad to see this course is continuing to challenge golfers and nurture new people to the lifetime sport.

We got caught in the pouring rain but I didn't mind once I had my laptop and their wifi, sitting in the shaded bay while getting some work done.
