Great company. I went up and checked before, during and post work and we are so pleased. We are now properly vented and have airflow, have all areas sealed, vent fans sealed correctly and enough insulation. It took only about an hour for the estimate, including the 1/2 hour the gentleman took to write it up and provide photos, work to be done and costs (in a color pamphlet!). He also reviewed what was found and what work should be done and why. We were really impressed. The actual work was scheduled week later and took 2 days (did not take an entire day each day). They were quick, clean, put up plastic barriers to protect the walls, house and floor. No leakage of any debris or old soiled insulation occurred. 10/10 would hire again. Note: they took care if the PSE rebates and were recommended by PSE.

The proposal itself already included a clause stating the work would be considered partial remediation with no warranty attached, so liability concerns had already been addressed in writing. Instead of adjusting the scope, the company withdrew the proposal and sent an email suggesting my request to remove those additional items were "demands." Based on my experience, be very clear about scope and expectations before requesting a proposal from this company. They will scope creep on you.

After we ripped up the entire carpeted space and treated it--I wanted info from a professional to see if there was anything else that we needed to do before getting the affected slab ground down and polished. I spoke with several companies who were unhelpful over the phone or charging ridiculous fees just to come out and provide an estimate. Mathew, the owner of Puget Sound Water Rescue was timely in his responsiveness over the Yelp App (on a Sunday afternoon) and ultimately provided us the perspective and information that we needed to determine whether or not professional remediation services were warranted at this point. Ultimately we determined with his help that they were not. Despite the fact that we did not end up hiring (anyone), his knowledge, honesty, and helpfulness were 5 stars worthy. Highly recommend talking to and/or Mathew for your remediation needs!

He did not try to upsell and seemed very transparent in his assessment. A few other water companies had pressured us to start an insurance claim there and then, saying the work would be more than our $5k deductible. Matthew told us that the water was very small and could be dried out with some DIY strategies. He then also looked at another issue we had and provided honest unbiased information about plumbers and contractors. He also provided a lot of small tips to prevent moisture and leaks in the future. I recommend Matthew as your first call and will definitely seek him out for future water damage needs.

There was no upfront charge for their providing a description of the work that they would do nor the prices associated with their statement of work. They had me sign a release to bill my insurance company directly. They did not provide me with a cost estimate saying they would provide my insurance company with the estimate. I was dealing with health issues at the time and I was unable to clear the room to get it ready for them to do the work. He left a de-humidifier and hooked it up and then an air scrubber two days later. I informed that I wasn't ready for them to start work. I had asked him to call and make sure I was ready for them to procede. He showed up unexpectedly 5 days later. I had by that time disconnected and packed up both the de-humidifier and air scrubber the previous day as my carpet and the pad underneath had become bone dry. I told him the equipment was no longer needed and I requested that he take them with him. He deferred saying he wasn't prepared to pick them up and he would pick them up at his convenience. After 3 or 4 instances of him calling I was unable to schedule the work because of health issues. I said I would call him when I was ready. He called me about a month later saying he'd have to charge me for having the machines for an additional 30+ days. I reminded him that they were ready for pickup when he last stopped by some 30+ days ago. I told him please come by and pickup your machines. At this time I decided It was not in my best interest to work with this company and their representative. They billed me for $837 for about an hour's time that was solicited by me. My insurance company sent out a claims investigator and the resultant claims estimate failed to delineate any contact with Landall. I expressed my reservations to Landall about the charges they billed me for and I requested over the phone, an itemized account for the charges. Their representative said she would e-mail me one. When I didn't receive one I sent a text message and a subsequent e-mail requesting an Itemized schedule of charges. After threatening me with collection I replied with yet another e-mail. They finally sent me an itemized bill with charges that I feel are inflated for the time spend serviceing the account. They also pissed me off with this fallacious statement on their invoice: "*This homeowner had us place equipment and then refused to allow us back on site to perform any services, to get our equipment back we had to show up without warning with management personal" I recommend that you avoid using this company for services.

They told me not to worry because my insurance will pay for it. They had no schedule. They came whenever feel like it. Gave less than an hour notice. They don't think I have a job too... when they came, they didn't know what they were doing, I had to point wet areas out. They didn't put blowers where the pipe broke or turned them off, and they still charged me. Then they used my toilet and plugged it. The water was shut off because of the broken pipe. I filed a formal complaint with their HR director, and she sent out the same people. She said they just hired new people and they need training. Well, don't train them at my expense. She told me they would clean my toilet. Also, they left the gate open and all the lights on. When i arrived at home, i was scared someone broke into my house. Well, I fired them. When they came to pick up the equipment and I asked them about the toilet, they laughed into my face. Still today, no one apologized or cleaned or adjusted the bill. Never ever hire them!
