Speedy's specializes in Hawaiian food. All meals are $8 (not 6.99 like on their website) and are made with local, fresh ingredients. I decided to go out on a limb for Taco Tuesday and get their taco's (the cook was awesome and gave me one chicken and one pork) and I didn't regret it. The tacos had a lot of meat (no skimping on the ingredients) and tasted really fresh. Loved the cilantro too. The optional spicy sauce was also amazing. Their fries looked homemade with cayenne and marash pepper and drizzled with honey (very similar to ones I've had at a gourmet restaurant so they were fantastic). I also got a complementary honey roll that was tiny but tasty. The only complaint I had was that they couldn't get my card to scan so I had to pay in cash and the pork taco was a little greasy. A lot of food for the money. I personally think it was worth the price. Generally, a 10/10 would eat again. A gem among food trucks in the area.

One thing I wanted to do was find a unique style of burger. Yes, I love a good cheeseburger But sometimes I like to find a good fusion/twist on a classic and I think I might've found it here. Burger review Smash-burger taco 9.9/10 When I say, I want a smash patty what Casey gave me was exactly that he literally executed a perfectly smashed patty with crispy edges also had some braised onions smashed into the patty but one thing I feel like certain elements are required when making a smashed burger, and understanding your burger blend to me is the most essential and Casey knew the assignment ..... before I forget its not on the menu at the 14 mill but you most definitely can ask for it Overall: I understand this isnt a traditional burger but in my eyes it's still one and I would argue this has to be one of the best in Springfield I feel like I should get with some of my foodie friends and host a burger fest/comp in the ozarks area and I'd put money thw would be top 5 but that's just my opinion lol. I got the sweet Thai chili shrimp taco, Yin Yang shrimp taco and the ultimate Philly notchos taco. My first disappointment was how long I saw mine sit under the light while they waited on the girls tacos to get ready. My three were barely warm and I found them to be mediocre at best. The flavor on them all was sorely lacking. I also felt it was over priced for what we got I wish I had gone and gotten the quiche at the nearby bakery instead. Staff was pleasant but not overly friendly. Maybe we went on a bad day but I won't go back. I will try another vendor in the food hall next time. The food hall is clean and the music inside is a nice volume. Plenty of seating.

Doggy Style has done mobile and is now a food truck. I caught up with them at Hold Fast Brewing…read morewhere they were set up. A simple square truck painted a bright yellow and red, it's hard to miss. The menu is posted on the side, written out on a white board. They put just about everything on their hot dogs and the names are "dog" related. The "Greyhound" has chili and cheese. The "Great Dane" has cheese, barbecue sauce and fried onion straws. I opted for the "K9" and it was absurd. Jalapeno sriracha cream cheese, jalapenos, bacon, pepper jack cheese and spicy mayo. It was loaded! Yes, the premium hot dogs are $10 but you're getting a hugely piled on hot dog with a big pile of nacho chips and a pot of spicy pimento cheese. This is not a small meal by any measure. Two of these would be too much for me and I eat big portions! Service was friendly and you can't beat the name. Try out Doggy Style! [Review 645 of 2024 - 337 in Missouri - 21676 overall]
