Where do I even begin... I had been following Ceci for quite a while so once I was engaged, they were actually the first team I reached out to! I actually did not even consider the other very talented artists out there. And there absolutely are many talented people out there. However, I can honestly say that no one else's work really compares to what Ceci and her team are doing! They truly helped make my wedding an absolute dream! Not just by setting the tone with the incredible pieces of art they designed for us, but they also introduced me to my wedding planner, Sarah Drake of Cole Drake Events in Napa. Without their referral, I might not have worked with Sarah who I absolutely loved! At the time of our wedding planning, I was living and working full-time in finance in New Orleans...while planning a destination wedding and planning a move to Denver. Needless to say, it was very busy & stressful time. Ceci and her team worked around their also busy schedules to accommodate my schedule - we communicated a lot through conference calls, email, etc. It definitely took a few design rounds and design notes to get to our final design, but that is part of the creative process- you are creating something completely original from scratch! Sarah Drake was also amazing in this process- I think it is helpful to approach this with an excellent wedding planner (preferrably someone who has worked with Ceci's team)... simply because they know all of the details of your wedding and they know Ceci's team & process. It helps expedite things! My husband and I were absolutely blown away by our final designs and the seeing the finished product in person was one of the highlights of planning our wedding. So many of our guests reached out to compliment our invite suites, some saved them, a lot even posted photos of them on social media! As I already said, there really is no comparison when it comes to what they create!! read more

The incredible team at Ceci was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish! Not only were their designs astonishingly exquisite and unique (who else would think to pair dazzling deco motifs with moody florals and make this unexpectedly auspicious combo look as if it was always meant to be?), but they also delivered administratively at every turn. Every deadline was hit (critical when you're on the clock to get wedding invitations out!) and edits were turned around quickly and seamlessly. Team Ceci was moreover happily and graciously able to roll with every address change and additional invitation I threw at them (and there were many). I must thank our outstanding account manager, Lindsey, in particular for so swiftly and cheerfully accommodating our every request. The designs Team Ceci turned out for everything from our invitations to our menus, escort cards and more were all just stunning in and of themselves (I'm still drooling!) but also, beautifully and flawlessly coordinated. Not to mention that their calligrapher does some of the absolute best work I've ever seen! I can't recommend this outstanding group enough and look forward to future celebrations so I will have the opportunity to work with them again! read more

Ceci and her team are beyond amazing and so talented! Easily the best wedding planning decision. Their visions are unparalleled and the quality of their products is exceptional. From my acrylic save-the-dates to our more formal wedding invitation and to paraphernalia in-between (cigar liners and matchboxes and cocktail napkins, etc.) CECI New York can do it all! And ON TIME. The team is very responsive, kept to the schedule and made me, as the bride, feel calm every step of the way. I'm still getting comments from guests about how special they felt to receive something so awesome in the mail! read more

I never believed in living my life with regrets, that is until I hired Ceci to design my wedding invitations. Working with her was the worst part of my wedding planning process, and without a doubt, the worst experience I've ever had with any vendor. Everything from the design process to the final product was a complete disappointment. When I reached out to voice my dissatisfaction she was rude and unprofessional. My high profile wedding planner even dropped Ceci from her vendor list after my experience. I firmly believe Ceci's true talent lies in her ability to market herself and not in her design skills. The best advice I could give anyone considering this vendor is to save yourself the disappointment and heartburn...and go ANYWHERE else. read more

This past week my fiancée opened the most beautiful and amazing wedding invitations in the world. From what I observed Vanessa and the Ceci NY company spent a good amount of time to make sure the invites were exactly what she had always dreamed about. My fiancée has not stopped talking about them since she received them, she is completely amazed in how beautiful They all came out. What's crazy is I've had people call me, FaceBook me, and text about how detailed and unique our wedding invitation are. Some have even told me that they do not want to open them because they are so beautiful. All in all from one simple California guy to you other brides looking for an amazing wedding invite, this is the place to come and make an investment in your wedding. Remember most of you will only do this once and you don't want to look back saying I could of should of done it. Thank you Ceci for making Vanessa's dreams become a beautiful reality. read more

We very much enjoyed working with the Ceci team - they designed all of the paper goods for our wedding and more! They designed everything from our Save the Dates and invitations to the day of paper goods, dance floor design, and bar designs! Everything came together incredibly beautifully and it all felt incredibly cohesive. All the final products fully exceeded our expectations - I don't think we could have loved them more, and got so many compliments from our guests! Throughout the process, the Ceci team was incredibly patient as we went through various iterations and multiple design rounds. COVID required that we postpone our wedding after we had already designed and printed our original Save the Dates. However, in the light of the situation at the time, we decided to change the location/venue from NYC to the mountains. Ceci worked closely with us to develop a new design that was appropriate for the new setting, but still remained in line with our general taste. Couldn't recommend the Ceci team more! read more

The MOST adorable handmade elegant letterpress wedding invitations in the world! (not to mention the beautiful envelopes and custom postage stamps) Ceci New York and her wonderful team offer IMPECCABLE customer service and great attention to detail. Ceci understood my vision and created "out of this world" design concepts! The quality of the cards stock and paper is very high and luxurious. ALL of my wedding guest are in "WOW" and can't believe how gorgeous and unique our wedding invitations are, I personally framed one and have it displayed in my bedroom, it's beautiful to look at. The custom design process was exciting, easy, and not stressful. Ceci took all my ideas and transformed them into beautiful works of art. Designing my wedding invitations with Ceci New York was special...a very very SPECIAL experience that I will forever treasure. This is the place you want to go to for custom, chic, elegant, romantic wedding invitations... there is nothing like it. This is the place you want to go for a personal touch! Thank you! read more

I can not say enough nice things about Ceci and Lindsey, my account manager. They were incredible through the whole process and really made my vision come to life. I am getting married at the beach and wanted something elegant that would set the tone for my oceanfront ceremony. The design was perfect, and they were so accommodating with my requests for edits until I felt 100% confident in our design. Once I sent the invites out it was such a high complement to get the response of how elegant our invitations were. Highly recommend the Ceci team read more

CeCi New York is AMAZING! We used CeCi to create all of our Wedding Invitations (Save The Date, Wedding Invitation, Scrapbook Art Project, Thank You Notes and Engagement Party Invitations) and the blew us away with their creativity! From our very first interaction CeCi impressed us with their creativity, professionalism and commitment to great service. We wanted to have a 1960s themed wedding in Napa Valley, so we asked CeCi to imagine the TV show Mad Men but in Napa. Ceci came up with our entire wedding theme (Mad Men In Napa) and designed multiple logos for us to use throughout our wedding weekend. We took their graphics and used it on Water Bottles, napkins, gift bags, etc.. The Save The Date box was filled with Mad Men In Napa logoed corks and a logoed corkscrew and in the box was a retro 1960s plane ticket in a retro ticket jacket providing our friends with an idea of what to expect in Napa. The Wedding Invitation was also a box filled with more logoed cork screws and contained a board game with dice and playing pieces, our guests could play the game to get the Mad Men characters from NYC to Napa. The designs were really great, and our friends and family were amazed by the mailings! WOW, CeC exceeded all of our expectations. Our wedding would not have been the same without all the pieces that built excitement for our event and consistently carried our wedding theme. We loved CeCi they were so easy to work with, responsive to our ideas, prompt on their deliverables and patient when we went through rounds of revisions. They were the ideal wedding partner. I would use CeCi again without hesitation. Thank you for exceeding our expectations! read more

We had such an amazing experience working with Ceci and team to design a beautiful set of invites and accessories for our November wedding in NYC! From save the dates to a custom water color envelope liner to menus to programs, everything was absolutely stunning. The team is not only talented but extremely kind and we hope to work with them again in the near future. read more

Seriously i have not seen such elaborate collections of invites! I walked by it once not thinking anything...then i saw Ceci's work on a blog and had to go in. They have laser-cut escort cards that are sooo unique. I wish I'd seen them before the ones i got. Great place to explore when shopping for wedding invitations! Prices are crazy but you know what? this is the place to get couture invites if you are in the market. The slogan fits them perfectly: downtown style meets classic elegance. I got cards for the table names here and they followed directions and delivered on time. They skipped table numbers that I didn't want (i'm not superstitious but didn't want guests to feel shafted sitting at table 13, for instance!). In fact it was a straight-through process where after the sale, I was in direct contact with the 'designer' who checked with me on the final copy before print., and notified me when she was done. On display were whole sets of invitations and they were gorgeous. I just couldn't stomach spending _that_ much on paper. read more

BRIDES BEWARE. Working with Ceci on my invitations was BY FAR the worst aspect of planning my wedding. They market themselves as high quality with "attention to detail," but throughout the process of working with them, I learned that actually, the burden was completely on me to make sure that the invitations came out all right. On my first appointment, I came to the office and spent over an hour with a woman named Naomi to develop my invitation suite. We developed a clear idea of what I wanted, and even picked out paper colors, so I was surprised when my first round came back to me and the invitation suite was different than what we had discussed. I tried to reach out to Naomi, who had until then always picked up my calls right away, but she was impossible to reach and kept directing me towards other people. I realized then that Naomi was only in charge of marketing....her whole job was to convince me to put down my credit card....but as soon as I did, she was no longer available. Instead, I was now in the hands of the "creative team," who had only received vague notes from her about what I wanted. I was forced at that point, a month later, to re-explain everything that we had previously come up with. Instead of having experts assist me with designing a beautiful product, I was essentially reciting from memory as best as I could what I had previously discussed with someone who was actually just in marketing. At this point, I really could have just been designing my invitations on my own. But I had already paid, of course. But the worse was still yet to come. At the beginning of the process I had of course provided Ceci with an email containing the language I wanted on my invitation, which obviously included my name and my fiancé's name. Throughout the months of creative process, the text was always exactly the same on every digital version Ceci sent me. Because nothing was changing except colors and small variations in pattern, I had no reason to think that suddenly there could be a typo out of no where in the text. And when the final invitations were sent to me for a final confirm, I quickly said they look great, not imagining that, after seeing ten rounds of invitations with everything spelled correctly, there could suddenly be an error. However, what Ceci failed to inform me of, was that in the last round, there is HUGE potential for error, because now, for the first time, they send the invitations to the caligrapher. Even though Ceci's caligrapher was writing out hundreds of invitations by hand for a VERY high cost, she never thought to double check the spelling of our names, and spelled my fiance's name incorrectly. Amazingly, Ceci also failed to double check the spelling of our names. They approved my invitations from the caligrapher and had them printed with my fiance's name wrongly spelled in every invitation. Now, even though this was clearly a mistake that both the caligrapher and Ceci had made, in failing to double check the spelling against what I sent them, they placed all the blame on me. Ceci refused to take ANY responsibility whatsoever, and smugly informed me that it was my fault, and there was nothing they could do. Instead of taking it upon themselves to double check....to have the "attention to detail" they boast of, they would rather do a minimal amount of work, and send you fine print saying that any mistakes are your fault, and call it a day. They blamed me, the client, for a MAJOR mistake on their end and then did absolutely NOTHING to rectify the situation. In my experience in life dealing with luxury companies, I have NEVER encountered a company that was so inflexible, so callous, so money-driven, and with such little regard for reputation, quality, or even the happiness of their brides. The price is vastly higher than other companies, and the product you get, the customer service you get, and god forbid, the help you get when something goes wrong, is all going to fall VERY short of what you'd want. UPDATE: I received a few messages after posting this review from people telling me to check out the Glassdoor profile on this company. Many of their previous employees there confirm that the company is fraudulent, refuses to take accountability for their own errors and charges ridiculous markups to clients. PLEASE read the Glassdoor reviews before giving this company any of your money. Update #2: Ceci attempts to mislead you in their response by indicating that I wanted a full refund and 2 round trip flights to India. Neither was requested- in fact, Ceci offered ZERO money back for their mistake and refused to reprint any invitations unless we paid more $. I approved the correct spelling multiple times and their final calligrapher got it wrong and mailed them out without checking my notes. zero remorse or accountability. PLEASE READ GLASSDOOR REVIEWS. These are not good people. read more

My wedding invitations were the second most important part to me for my wedding after the wedding dress. I chose Ceci after seeing their work featured in countless wedding magazines and I could not be happier with my decision. They are very expensive but I received not only the best quality of paper, their attentive service was most impressive and worth every penny. I worked closely with Ana who was a delight and always prompt answering my e-mails. I have gotten so many compliments about my invitations and most importantly they are exactly what I envisioned. It was one of the most enjoyable wedding planning experiences. read more

Ceci and her team are the absolute best! Working with Ceci New York was so much fun and such an incredible experience. When I first picked Ceci New York to work on my wedding invitations, I honestly didn't even expect to actually meet with Ceci herself. However, sure enough she was always involved in the process and made it so easy for us! From the start I knew I didn't just want to look at a ton of designs on a website and pick from one of them, I wanted something of my own. At the same time, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to make my ideas come to life. Ceci and her team made it so easy to make decisions, at some points I almost felt like they could read my mind. My husband was also very involved in the experience; he enjoyed creating with the team too! Ceci knew exactly what we were looking for in our design and made our visions come to life! I worked with Lindsey throughout the entire process and she was the best! She was always responsive and answered all of my questions, constantly! Ceci and her team did everything from our save the dates to thank you cards. Every single item from Ceci came out so beautifully. I still receive compliments about our wedding invitations. One of the most popular being, "that was the most beautiful wedding invitation I have ever received!" We hope to be able to work with the entire team again soon! read more

Ceci New York is, in one word, FANTASTIC! Their creativity, attention to detail, design, and professionalism is impressive. Not only do I refer countless clients to them (ones that are looking to be a little outside the box - or ones that are looking for upscale paper goods), I used them at the start of our company for design, website and branding. It was one of the best choices that we invested in and still, five years later, get compliments on our logo, business cards and website. Simply the best in invitations, cards, stationery and design work. read more

FAKE REVIEWS!! This place is AWFUL! Worst customer service and attention to detail. Avoid at all costs. This service charged a lot of money and then didn't spell check any of their work. And refused to accept their mistake and blamed everyone else. read more

Working with Ceci on our wedding invitations was one of the highlights of the wedding planning process for me. Ceci New York makes the process so fun and they really strive to create an invitation/piece that is unique to you and your special day. Kellie Clifford (the Account Manager) kept us on schedule, guided me through the process and was always available to answer any questions I had. The final product was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. This piece of our planning process will be one of the things we talk about for years to come. I cannot recommend Ceci and her team enough. If you're looking for an amazing design experience and gorgeous one of a kind invitations, look no further! read more

When you're paying a premium price, you should receive a premium experience. The initial meeting was great and the end products were beautiful, but everything in between was a huge fail. Nickeled and dimed on everything; very poor and abrupt communication about issues; no apologies when mistakes were made or misunderstandings happened. We experienced better customer service from Tiny Prints (online) when we used them for shower invitations: more contact, more feedback and no attitude. We used Ceci for wedding invitations and accessories. You would anticipate that someone in this business would be able to warn you that the equipment at the USPS can't read dark envelopes or metallic type and that if you're using those types of envelopes or a wax seal, the post office is going to have to hand cancel everything -- resulting in delays and, in many instances, non-deliveries. This was a huge issue with getting our replies back. Ceci also did custom postage stamps for us. They used Zazzle! I don't have an issue with that, except being charged a huge fee for something I could have easily done myself -- especially since Ceci's people grossly overestimated the postage, so I now have a lifetime supply of stamps in odd dollar amounts. The invitations, replies and escort cards were gorgeous -- but the overall experience was deeply disappointing and HUGELY expensive. read more

The best of the best! If you are looking for the best invitations in the world, Ceci New York is where you want to be. The custom design process is incredibly fun and Ceci will transform your ideas into works of art. After my great experience with Ceci New York, I was thrilled to learn that wedding invitations are only one part of what Ceci offers--they also create to-die-for branding materials, baby announcements, social stationery, place cards, holiday cards... I was in awe of Ceci and her team's work before I even met with them. I contacted the studio to help design a client's wedding invitations though she did not end up working with Ceci, I contracted them to redesign my business' logo, business cards, and packaging. They delivered all materials in a timely manner and they were extremely flexible with design changes. I cannot thank them enough for their patience! It's not an easy task rebranding a small business and Ceci with her team made it seem effortless. They even accommodated my request to provide an invitation suite for my styled shoot. I worked with Ceci New York to create custom wedding invitations for our wedding in Nantucket. I had a very specific vision for our invitations, and Ceci's team executed it perfectly. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience working with Ceci New York on my invitations. It was absolutely one of the highlights of wedding planning. I worked with Kellie, who was absolutely wonderful on so many levels. Every step was enjoyable - even just looking through the samples I received! I never once felt anxious or frustrated because every step was so thoroughly communicated and any questions I had were answered right away. They clearly care about every detail and making sure you get exactly what you want. If you are on the fence about if it's worth it - it IS! I couldn't be happier and will enjoy my invites forever! I didn't use this company, but my best friend did and we were all shocked when they arrived with her fiance's name spelled incorrectly. The worst part was the lack of ANY concern on their part for making such a massive mistake, and their complete disinterest in doing anything to rectify the situation. Mistakes happen, but you would think that after spending so much on invitations, your vendor would at least try to fix it. I was sorry to see my friend go through this during what was supposed to be the happiest time of her life. I would not recommend this service to other brides. read more

Picking wedding invitations was seemingly a daunting task, as I feel it sets the tone for your wedding. Ceci was very professional right from the beginning and working with her on the design process was fun and creative! She used the inspiration I gave her and really made the theme of my wedding come to life with her beautiful hand-painted moody-florals. It was used in the liner of my invite, as well as my menu and program. I loved looking at her samples and taking ideas from past projects to combine them into something all my own. The options are endless! This was something that I felt was lacking with other invitation vendors (I didn't want to choose something from a book, and pay extra to change X,Y & Z). Her process is completely customized. Her pricing is reflective of the quality (which is TOP LEVEL) and as there were always price options available. Her team did their best to follow up and keep in touch with me throughout the whole process. I was especially grateful because Ceci introduced me to my florist, and has also worked with my cake vendor many times. This made collaborating on small details very easy! She is very well connected in the wedding industry, and can help you craft a flawless event! If you're looking for one of a kind invitations for any party, Ceci NY is the place to go! read more

It was reassuring to know that every detail had been reviewed and looked over carefully to ensure everything came out perfectly. My fiance and received an invite for our friends' wedding that was absolutely gorgeous, so when they told us they used Ceci, we knew we wanted to go there too. We went to our first appointment without really knowing exactly what we had in mind. We met with Kayla, who was amazing at helping us pinpoint exactly what we wanted. She took her time with us and really helped us design the exact invitation we wanted. She completely understood our style and what we were looking for (even better than we did). Then we worked with Lindsey and Kerrie through the various design rounds. They were probably the most responsive vendors we dealt with throughout the entire wedding planning experience. They both responded to my emails very quickly (usually within minutes!) and resolved all my questions/issues/concerns efficiently and effectively. They provided recommendations throughout the process that were very helpful (all the way down to the mailing), and they reminded me about things I never would have thought of myself. The invitations came out absolutely gorgeous. We highly recommend Ceci and could not have been any happier with both the process and the final result!!! read more

Ceci and her team could not have been more of a pleasure to work with. Ceci herself was so attentive and invested in creating the perfect watercolor look, getting the hue to the perfect level. We actually loved the designs so much, that we worked with our event planner and designer to replicate elements of it in our wedding. The decor translated perfectly to the room and was truly reflective of both myself and my husband, and the overall aesthetic we were trying to achieve. Ceci and her tail absolutely nailed it! The quality of both their design and customer service are unparalleled. They truly make the entire process so easy, and I trusted them every step of the way. Absolutely disgusting customer service! We had to cancel our order and as per the contract we were responsible for the full balance, but it couldn't have been handled more unprofessionally. The representative called on the due date and advised, "We will have to handle with other measures if this isn't paid today". I quickly asked, "Exactly what do you mean by handled?" as if she was coming to break my legs or something. Then she advised she would be sending to a collection agency if the balance wasn't paid today. Of course the balance was paid but what a ridiculous thing to say to someone. Very poor experience and wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. The better reviews are quite dated and I'm thinking are probably from friends or family. read more
