The incredible team at Ceci was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish! Not only were their designs astonishingly exquisite and unique (who else would think to pair dazzling deco motifs with moody florals and make this unexpectedly auspicious combo look as if it was always meant to be?), but they also delivered administratively at every turn. Every deadline was hit (critical when you're on the clock to get wedding invitations out!) and edits were turned around quickly and seamlessly. Team Ceci was moreover happily and graciously able to roll with every address change and additional invitation I threw at them (and there were many). I must thank our outstanding account manager, Lindsey, in particular for so swiftly and cheerfully accommodating our every request. We very much enjoyed working with the Ceci team - they designed all of the paper goods for our wedding and more! They designed everything from our Save the Dates and invitations to the day of paper goods, dance floor design, and bar designs! Everything came together incredibly beautifully and it all felt incredibly cohesive. All the final products fully exceeded our expectations - I don't think we could have loved them more, and got so many compliments from our guests! Throughout the process, the Ceci team was incredibly patient as we went through various iterations and multiple design rounds. COVID required that we postpone our wedding after we had already designed and printed our original Save the Dates. However, in the light of the situation at the time, we decided to change the location/venue from NYC to the mountains. CeCi New York is AMAZING! We used CeCi to create all of our Wedding Invitations (Save The Date, Wedding Invitation, Scrapbook Art Project, Thank You Notes and Engagement Party Invitations) and the blew us away with their creativity! From our very first interaction CeCi impressed us with their creativity, professionalism and commitment to great service. We wanted to have a 1960s themed wedding in Napa Valley, so we asked CeCi to imagine the TV show Mad Men but in Napa. Ceci came up with our entire wedding theme (Mad Men In Napa) and designed multiple logos for us to use throughout our wedding weekend. We took their graphics and used it on Water Bottles, napkins, gift bags, etc.. The Save The Date box was filled with Mad Men In Napa logoed corks and a logoed corkscrew and in the box was a retro 1960s plane ticket in a retro ticket jacket providing our friends with an idea of what to expect in Napa. The Wedding Invitation was also a box filled with more logoed cork screws and contained a board game with dice and playing pieces, our guests could play the game to get the Mad Men characters from NYC to Napa. The designs were really great, and our friends and family were amazed by the mailings! WOW, CeC exceeded all of our expectations. Our wedding would not have been the same without all the pieces that built excitement for our event and consistently carried our wedding theme. We loved CeCi they were so easy to work with, responsive to our ideas, prompt on their deliverables and patient when we went through rounds of revisions. They were the ideal wedding partner. BRIDES BEWARE. Working with Ceci on my invitations was BY FAR the worst aspect of planning my wedding. They market themselves as high quality with "attention to detail," but throughout the process of working with them, I learned that actually, the burden was completely on me to make sure that the invitations came out all right. On my first appointment, I came to the office and spent over an hour with a woman named Naomi to develop my invitation suite. We developed a clear idea of what I wanted, and even picked out paper colors, so I was surprised when my first round came back to me and the invitation suite was different than what we had discussed. I tried to reach out to Naomi, who had until then always picked up my calls right away, but she was impossible to reach and kept directing me towards other people. I realized then that Naomi was only in charge of marketing....her whole job was to convince me to put down my credit card....but as soon as I did, she was no longer available. Instead, I was now in the hands of the "creative team," who had only received vague notes from her about what I wanted. I was forced at that point, a month later, to re-explain everything that we had previously come up with. Instead of having experts assist me with designing a beautiful product, I was essentially reciting from memory as best as I could what I had previously discussed with someone who was actually just in marketing. At this point, I really could have just been designing my invitations on my own. But I had already paid, of course. But the worse was still yet to come. At the beginning of the process I had of course provided Ceci with an email containing the language I wanted on my invitation, which obviously included my name and my fiancé's name. Throughout the months of creative process, the text was always exactly the same on every digital version Ceci sent me. Because nothing was changing except colors and small variations in pattern, I had no reason to think that suddenly there could be a typo out of no where in the text. And when the final invitations were sent to me for a final confirm, I quickly said they look great, not imagining that, after seeing ten rounds of invitations with everything spelled correctly, there could suddenly be an error. However, what Ceci failed to inform me of, was that in the last round, there is HUGE potential for error, because now, for the first time, they send the invitations to the caligrapher. Even though Ceci's caligrapher was writing out hundreds of invitations by hand for a VERY high cost, she never thought to double check the spelling of our names, and spelled my fiance's name incorrectly. Amazingly, Ceci also failed to double check the spelling of our names. They approved my invitations from the caligrapher and had them printed with my fiance's name wrongly spelled in every invitation. Now, even though this was clearly a mistake that both the caligrapher and Ceci had made, in failing to double check the spelling against what I sent them, they placed all the blame on me. Ceci refused to take ANY responsibility whatsoever, and smugly informed me that it was my fault, and there was nothing they could do. Instead of taking it upon themselves to double check....to have the "attention to detail" they boast of, they would rather do a minimal amount of work, and send you fine print saying that any mistakes are your fault, and call it a day. They blamed me, the client, for a MAJOR mistake on their end and then did absolutely NOTHING to rectify the situation. In my experience in life dealing with luxury companies, I have NEVER encountered a company that was so inflexible, so callous, so money-driven, and with such little regard for reputation, quality, or even the happiness of their brides. The price is vastly higher than other companies, and the product you get, the customer service you get, and god forbid, the help you get when something goes wrong, is all going to fall VERY short of what you'd want. UPDATE: I received a few messages after posting this review from people telling me to check out the Glassdoor profile on this company. Many of their previous employees there confirm that the company is fraudulent, refuses to take accountability for their own errors and charges ridiculous markups to clients. PLEASE read the Glassdoor reviews before giving this company any of your money. Update #2: Ceci attempts to mislead you in their response by indicating that I wanted a full refund and 2 round trip flights to India. Neither was requested- in fact, Ceci offered ZERO money back for their mistake and refused to reprint any invitations unless we paid more $. I approved the correct spelling multiple times and their final calligrapher got it wrong and mailed them out without checking my notes. zero remorse or accountability. PLEASE READ GLASSDOOR REVIEWS. Seriously i have not seen such elaborate collections of invites! I walked by it once not thinking anything...then i saw Ceci's work on a blog and had to go in. They have laser-cut escort cards that are sooo unique. I wish I'd seen them before the ones i got. Great place to explore when shopping for wedding invitations! Prices are crazy but you know what? this is the place to get couture invites if you are in the market. The slogan fits them perfectly: downtown style meets classic elegance. I got cards for the table names here and they followed directions and delivered on time. They skipped table numbers that I didn't want (i'm not superstitious but didn't want guests to feel shafted sitting at table 13, for instance!). In fact it was a straight-through process where after the sale, I was in direct contact with the 'designer' who checked with me on the final copy before print., and notified me when she was done. On display were whole sets of invitations and they were gorgeous. I just couldn't stomach spending _that_ much on paper. read more

Where do I even begin... I had been following Ceci for quite a while so once I was engaged, they were actually the first team I reached out to! I actually did not even consider the other very talented artists out there. And there absolutely are many talented people out there. However, I can honestly say that no one else's work really compares to what Ceci and her team are doing! They truly helped make my wedding an absolute dream! Not just by setting the tone with the incredible pieces of art they designed for us, but they also introduced me to my wedding planner, Sarah Drake of Cole Drake Events in Napa. Without their referral, I might not have worked with Sarah who I absolutely loved! At the time of our wedding planning, I was living and working full-time in finance in New Orleans...while planning a destination wedding and planning a move to Denver. Needless to say, it was very busy & stressful time. Ceci and her team worked around their also busy schedules to accommodate my schedule - we communicated a lot through conference calls, email, etc. It definitely took a few design rounds and design notes to get to our final design, but that is part of the creative process- you are creating something completely original from scratch! Sarah Drake was also amazing in this process- I think it is helpful to approach this with an excellent wedding planner (preferrably someone who has worked with Ceci's team)... simply because they know all of the details of your wedding and they know Ceci's team & process. It helps expedite things! My husband and I were absolutely blown away by our final designs and the seeing the finished product in person was one of the highlights of planning our wedding. So many of our guests reached out to compliment our invite suites, some saved them, a lot even posted photos of them on social media! When you're paying a premium price, you should receive a premium experience. The initial meeting was great and the end products were beautiful, but everything in between was a huge fail. Nickeled and dimed on everything; very poor and abrupt communication about issues; no apologies when mistakes were made or misunderstandings happened. We experienced better customer service from Tiny Prints (online) when we used them for shower invitations: more contact, more feedback and no attitude. We used Ceci for wedding invitations and accessories. You would anticipate that someone in this business would be able to warn you that the equipment at the USPS can't read dark envelopes or metallic type and that if you're using those types of envelopes or a wax seal, the post office is going to have to hand cancel everything -- resulting in delays and, in many instances, non-deliveries. This was a huge issue with getting our replies back. Ceci also did custom postage stamps for us. They used Zazzle! I don't have an issue with that, except being charged a huge fee for something I could have easily done myself -- especially since Ceci's people grossly overestimated the postage, so I now have a lifetime supply of stamps in odd dollar amounts. The invitations, replies and escort cards were gorgeous -- but the overall experience was deeply disappointing and HUGELY expensive. read more

The worst part was the lack of ANY concern on their part for making such a massive mistake, and their complete disinterest in doing anything to rectify the situation. Absolutely disgusting customer service! We had to cancel our order and as per the contract we were responsible for the full balance, but it couldn't have been handled more unprofessionally. The representative called on the due date and advised, "We will have to handle with other measures if this isn't paid today". I quickly asked, "Exactly what do you mean by handled?" as if she was coming to break my legs or something. Then she advised she would be sending to a collection agency if the balance wasn't paid today. Of course the balance was paid but what a ridiculous thing to say to someone. Very poor experience and wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. The better reviews are quite dated and I'm thinking are probably from friends or family. read more
